Astaroth regained consciousness as his conversation with Senbonzakura came to an end. Honestly, he was a little disappointed to have put so many hours to meditate, to have had only two minutes of conversation. He could only console himself by saying that he had taken a step further to control his power.

Subsequently, he began to prepare to return to Fairy Tail. He did not spend more than a few days a month since joining Grimoire Heart. Those who were close to him like Makarov and the Strauss family wanted to know why he had become so distant with them, but seeing that he did not want to answer, they did not force him because he always returned to the guild. In truth, the reason he avoided his friends was because of the shame he felt for betraying them.

Since his body had grown, he no longer wore his kimono. Although it was made of a special fabric that allowed him to stretch and have a strong resistance, he still had a limit. When he did not participate in Grimoire Heart missions, he wore a traditional outfit of his clan. This is a black coat with a high collar and long sleeves separating the lower half, and a black obi with a black belt and trousers. On the back of the coat there are two symbols, a circle with three tomoes and the mark of Fairy Tail (Thought to the holding of Madara while he was in the village)

...

After two days of travel, he arrived at Magnolia. As he was about to open the gates of the guild, he heard the sounds of fighting inside. It was probably a general scrum between the different mages.

Opening the doors, he expected to see all the guild members fighting, yet it was a much stranger scene waiting for him. There was a battle, but it was a fight between Mira and Erza, neither of them cared about the destruction they were causing. The other terrorized mages hid behind the wooden tables, except Natsu and Gray. We could see that the pink haired mage and the black haired mage were present earlier because of two holes in the wall that had the shape of their silhouette. Makarov was hidden behind one of the tables near the door. He shed all the tears of his body when he saw his precious guild being destroyed by his adopted children. One might wonder why he did not stop them, since he was much more powerful than the two young women? It was because their demonic gaze was really scary and unconsciously he felt like they could crush him if he tried to arrest them.

Finally, seeing Astaroth entered the guild, he saw the only hope of saving the building.

Makarov: Please, stop them from destroying all my guild.

The swordsman nodded at the old man's request. He was sympathetic to what his adopted children were doing to him, for they were, no doubt, the most destructive mages of Fiore, and he had to pay for all the destruction they caused.

The two women did not even notice the newcomer until one hand rested on each of their heads. Even before they could react, their heads hit each other. This blow hurt them very much and they swore to hurt the one who had done this to them, but looking at the culprit their skin turned pale.

Although Astaroth's eyes were closed, they could feel he was angry with them. He was the only person in the guild who could stop them fighting because he is stronger than the two women and Mira's aggressiveness subsided enormously when he was there.

Astaroth: You'll apologize to the master right away and clean up your mess.

Although he showed no emotion in his sentence, the two womens had the impression that if they did not obey, they would regret it painfully.

Mira and Erza: But she's the one who ...

Astaroth: No matter who started, you both turned the guild into a mess. Now, excuse yourself to the old man before he dries up.

The two women grumble in their thoughts but did not dare to express it. They apologized to Makarov and spent the next few hours cleaning up the damage. They did not dare stop their work because the swordsman was watching them from start to finish. When they were finished, they were exhausted and the sun was already set. Erza went home, but Mira went to see Astaroth with a sheet of paper. Seeing this sheet, he looked at her curiously.

Mira: It's been a long time since we did a mission together. I was going to take this one with Elfman and Lisanna, but since you came back I thought you could come with us.

Astaroth was about to refuse her offer but Mira used her worst weakness: puppy eyes. He stared at her for several seconds, but finally confessed to being defeated. Sometimes he regretted that his sensory sense allowed him to see as well as his eyes.

Seeing that she had won, Mira was happy that her friend was accompanying her. His happy face associated with his Gothic costume offered a strange spectacle.

Mira: Yeaahh !!! Join us at the station at 8 am tomorrow morning.

It was on these words that the mage Take Over went home. Seeing her go, the swordsman went to bed in his room on the guild floor. Although he did not show it, he was happy to go on a mission with his friend.

...

Astaroth and the Strauss family found themselves at the magnolia station and took a train to Nautale. Elfman and Lisanna were really happy to see the swordsman accompany them, the girl jumped in his arms, while the big man shouted '' it's manly ''. The mission was to subjugate a monster who had attacked one of the Nautale mines.

Before arriving at the city, they decided to separate. The swordsman will speak with the mayor as the Strauss go around town to try to locate the beast.

The meeting with the mayor lasted no more than ten minutes. Unfortunately the information he had gathered from him was few, because there was only one survivor who saw the beast. Seeing no interest in staying in town, Astaroth decided to join his companions.

Along the way, he had a bad presentiment which made him speed up. Finally he managed to feel the presence of the Strauss, but there was something else with them. This presence confirmed that his friends could be in danger, he did not lose a minute to join them.

Approaching them, he began to distinguish what was happening. Some houses nearby were on fire, because they were behind a hill you could not see them from the village. For some reason Elfman was not found and the creature they were looking for was there. Mirajane was badly injured and seemed to be struggling to stand up. As for Lisanna, she had stood in front of her big sister as if she wanted to protect her, so she seemed to be talking to the monster in front of her, but Astaroth was too far away to hear him.

Seeing the beast raise his arm to attack the girl, Astaroth began to panic. All the emotions he had felt at the death of his family resurfaced again. He had vowed not to lose anyone who was important in his life, yet he was not fast enough to block this attack, if he was a little bit more he was sure he would to arrive, it was only a matter of a few steps.

In desperation he shouted the name of the girl he considered a little sister.

Astaroth: LISANNNAAA !!!

The sudden call turned the girl's gaze in her direction, that's at that moment the arm of the beast threw her fist at her.

Seeing this image, Astaroth's eyes suddenly changed without realizing it. His sharingans now formed a complete circle with three small rings on the black line. (Madara Mangekyou)

This transformation made his eyes bleed, but he did not realize it because of the sudden energy that was invading his body, although it was minimal he felt that his movements became more fluid and that his speed had increased. Suddenly, he arrived in front of Lisanna, who was about to come into contact with the fist of the beast.

Although this scene was long to explain, only a few seconds had passed.

Instead of hitting the girl, the huge fist hit a blue rib cage that had some cracks due to the shock. It was one of the few times that the swordsman showed his anger.

Astaroth: Leave her alone !!!

At his scream a skeletal right arm attached to the rib cage appeared and struck the beast. The shock was so violent that he sent it crashing against the rock formation behind the monster which stunned the beast. The size of the creature is reduced to the shape of a human. It was Elfman.

Lisanna: Elfman !!!

Lisanna ran to her brother to see if he was fine. The skeletal being around Astaroth gradually disappeared leaving the swordsman panting and blood covering his face. He smiled at what he had done, he had managed to save one of the people that was important to him, so his quest for power was not futile.

Suddenly he felt a great pain coming from his eyes, it was probably the backlash for abusing his eyes. The pain was so strong that he began to lose consciousness. But as he was about to fall to the floor, he felt someone catch him. Although he did not see who he was, he could obviously recognize the voice that spoke to him.

Mira: Thank you. Thank you so much.

It is on these words that he faints.
