The Doctor Who Loves Me

Yera was in a very deep thought, as she once more read the email she received from Shan, her Secretary before who was still working at Life Hospitals group and now under Lyndon Chu's management.

A dinner invitation from Lyndon Chu… 

It was as she expected, they wanted to poach her to Life Hospitals group.

It was sooner than she expected though. Lyndon Chu, she had nothing against the man who treated her well when they were engaged. However,  he was still one of the suspects she should be careful with…

She sighed, Xander was monitoring everything for her but she personally wanted to take the lead this time in getting her own justice especially for her grandfather. She wanted full access to everything...

Yera messaged Xander and asked where he was because she wanted to talk to him about the investigation Xander was doing. She would want to exercise full authority to Xander's power as he promised she could.

Her mobile phone suddenly rang and it was Xander.

"Why call? You can just message me once you are back in your office." Said Yera in her passive voice.

"Hmm… I called because I miss your voice. I'm going back in the office now. You can wait there." Said Xander excitedly before he ended the call.

Yera stood up on her seat from the staff lounge with twisted face. As the days went by, Xander's shamelessness was getting worst. 

She could still remember that night where he kissed her and she thought it was his sleeping disorder. To her horror, it was not his sleeping order attacking. She  had confirmed it when she got his text message that said he would kiss her again if she changed back his name to 'The Clown' in her mobile phone.

The shamelessness of the man was really indescribable! She had no energy to argue so she just let him go with the liberty of changing his name in her mobile phone. Also, to be honest, it was merely because she was threatened by that kiss.

Her thoughts were occupied as she walked towards Xander's office that she was startled when she was greeted by Dr. Yao. "Dr. Song Good morning…"

Yera smiled back at Dr. Yao. The woman was friendly, Dr. Yao approached her recently because of her patient, a child's condition where she consulted Yera if an operation was necessary.

"Morning Dr. Yao." she greeted back then she proceeded to walk towards Xander's office.

Secretary Ness smiled at her at the reception area and offered her a drink. Yera asked for a tea and entered Xander's Office directly.

After just a minute, Xander arrived and sat beside Yera on the couch of his office as he smiled at her with those sparkling eyes.

"What's up?" Xander asked.

Yera sighed and started, "Lyndon's office contacted me already… I want to handle everything…"

Xander creased his forehead…

Yera looked at him straight and said, "I want full access at everything especially your security team…"

"You do have full access with them." Xander replied nonchalantly and accepted the cup of tea Secretary Ness handed to them.

Then Xander looked at Secretary Ness and instructed, "No one should disturb us. If anyone asks, I'm on an important meeting."

"Noted Sir…"

As soon as his secretary left, Xander looked at Yera straight in the eyes and said, "I already told you that what is mine is yours…"

Yera let out another sigh and said, "Yeah but you lead it. What I mean is that I want to lead everything. I will instruct your people directly. I want full power..."

"Hmm, by all means then Mrs. Yang. But, if you do so, can I request something in return?" said Xander grinning that made Yera raised an eyebrow. Then she recalled the clauses in their contract if there were something she should do in return once she gained full power and access.

Xander seemed to understand what she was thinking so he spoke, "If you want full access and power, you will also let me to have full access, full power with you as a real wife. Don't worry it's nothing to do with the consummation of our marriage so rest assured I won't take advantage of you but of course unless you permit me to."

Yera's face twisted… She remembered that clause and she was confident at that time that she would not permit Xander at all, so she agreed with it. However, after that incident of him getting drunk and kissing her, she suddenly regretted that she agreed on that clause because her body was clearly responding to him and she could not deny that fact.

Xander, on the other hand, got another opportunity on being close with Yera but then he frowned at the sudden thought. "Wait why are they poaching you this fast? Are you going to transfer at Life Globals already?" he asked in a row as a worrisome look crossed on his handsome and charming face.

Yera pursed her lips and shook her head. "I won't just yet, but I will meet Lyndon. I want to see his expression when he sees me. I know him well and I can tell if he has something to do with what happened to me and my grandpa." explained Yera.

Xander's face suddenly looked grim. He was not happy at all for Yera to see his previous fiance while a sudden sharp thing seemed to pierce his heart. 'What if their love for each other blooms once more?'

That moment Xander suddenly pulled Yera into his embrace. Yera was startled and murmured, "Hey, what's with you?"

"I'm already exercising my rights as your husband and being touchy is a part of it. If you complain, I will kiss you..." murmured Xander with a down tone. He was just starting to make progress… 

He wanted to ask Yera about Lyndon but he was afraid to do so…

"Lyndon Chu was nice to me when we were together and I see him more like a friend and a partner matched between families before. We get along well but I never came to love him like I did with Bernard." Yera spoke out of nowhere. She did not know why but for some reason, she felt like she should explain and clear things out to Xander about her relationship with Lyndon.

Xander gently pushed her and this time his face was back to normal, with his usual smile curving his lips. 

"I will have Ron to give you all the contacts for my people. Ron will instruct them to report to you directly. By all means, do whatever you want and I will always support you Darling…" said Xander before he did a quick kiss on Yera's nose and winked at her.
