The Doctor Who Loves Me

The couple continued with another activity offered by the place. Yera gradually felt at ease with Xander who was bubbly as always and would shamelessly do things he wanted though there were times that she would feel embarrassed, especially at times when an intimate scenes between the two of them would pop up in her head. She would flush out of nowhere or would release a whack expression as it replayed in her head.

"Do you want to try that?" Xander said as he pointed his finger up. He referred to the range to range zip line. She felt Xander touched her chin as he said, "Are you perhaps scared trying it darling?" 

Yera shook her head so Xander pulled her with his hand that clasped hers to walk towards the ziplining entrance.

"Make sure you capture a nice photos okay… Give me a lot of shots, the more you can get the better," Xander instructed the person in charge to do snapshots during the ziplining. He also chose the position where they would be hanging face to face and very close with each other, a  very intimate position for a couple.

"Here hug me well…" said Xander as he gestured Yera to enclose his neck with her arms while her guided Yera's legs to wraphis waist. Seeing Xander's mischievous smile, Yera could already guess what Xander was planning. But she cared less because she wanted to try the zipline. She was nervous so she adhered firmly at Xander because for some reason, clinging to him like that took those nervousness away.

"Here we go," Xander whispered as he hugged Yera tightly when the operator gave the signal for them to be released. Yera closed her eyes as she felt the cold air touched her b.a.r.e skin while her body floated in the air.

"Open your eyes darling… the scene is great." Xander encouraged so Yera did and opened her eyes. Xanders was right, the sight was spectacular.

"We should do a lot of poses for the snapshots…" Xander said grinning as he sneaked a kiss to Yera's lips. Yera frowned and Xander laughed as he enjoyed her mixed expressions… She was irritated, nervous and thrilled as she screamed when they sped up with a downward slope.

Yera could feel the excitement and anxiety mixing all over her body as they continued with the zipline tour. They feasted at the panoramic views of lush forest. Yera could not count how many times Xander sneak a peck kiss on her lips, cheeks, and even nose during the ziplining. She swore that Xander was the most shameless person she had ever met her whole life.

After the zip lining, Xander excitedly checked their snapshots and bought all of the copies.

"Let me see," Yera said but Xander kept the envelopes and said, "let's look once we arrived in our cabin.

Yera suddenly remembered that Xander promised to teach her how to swim. She should make the most out of their vacation because she was sure she won't have time like this once she entered and joined Life Globals group. "Alright let's go back and check that in the cabin. Also, you promised to teach me how to swim." Yera said with a reminder.

"Yes, darling… let's swim after lunch…" Xander meekly answered as he walked with Yera holding hands.

Back in their cabin, Xander laughed so hard while he looked at some of the photos specifically when Yera was screaming.

"Do you want poison on your food right now?" She hissed with an expressionless face while she continued cooking because Xander never stopped teasing her with her pictures.

Xander walked at her and hugged her from behind. "Okay, I'll stop and hug you like this instead. Hmm that smells good…" he commented as he nuzzled Yera's neck. He was grinning inside because he was successful with being touchy as much as he could, that way, Yera would get used to him more. Yes, he was intentionally seducing her if that was what you would call it and he had no plans in stopping doing it.

"Maybe I should change your name into 'The Shameless' on my phone instead." Yera commented to distract herself. 

Xander chuckled and whispered in her ear, "Hmm, if trying to get your attention is also shameless and not just bullying as you've said before then I don't mind… As long as I can hold you and have all of you... then call me shameless too all you want…"

Xander heard Yera heaved a long deep sigh before murmuring, "Really shameless."

She could only utter the words as a shield because her body already betrayed her. She knew that she could no longer control her own body so she won't deny that fact. Her physical attraction to Xander was undeniable so she already broke her shield physically.

Even his hugging like that felt good… But for some reason, she felt that she did not deserve any of it. There was this feeling inside of her, it was as if she was betraying Bernard too. How come she could already feel this kind of feeling? Wasn't it too early to entertain things like this? She was really at that state where she was totally confused with various emotions she was having.

She needed more time to sort her feelings out because she was afraid to face it. Coward? Maybe she was… It was hard to lose someone you loved the most… When Bernard died, her world crumbled. She would deprive herself of emotions that could make her weak. She had a battle ahead of her and having a weakness would be a hindrance. So right now, she was still shielding herself emotionally.

"What are you thinking darling?" Xander murmured as he noticed that Yera was in deep thought.

"Nothing… Just how to heavily guard myself emotionally cause my physical shield is not very effective with the tremendous amount of shamelessness you have," Yera answered truthfully.

Xander knew Yera was a straightforward person, so he was no longer shock with her words. Instead she kissed her neck and shamelessly said, "shield… hmm… Obviously I broke the physical shield. But then emotional shield is the priority so I should work on that overtime I guess."

Xander understood Yera well because Rui already told him that Yera's case was not simple. She experienced a lot of things that could have caused her to build a wall on herself. Just by talking to Yera on casual occasions, Rui could already tell that the traumatic things Yera experienced somehow affect her decisions on things and at most, people like her, often built an emotional protective wall. Tt was like a strong barrier, a strong hold to protect oneself...

He smiled before he added, "Don't worry darling, your husband has a generous amount of patience especially right now that I'm falling in love with you… Yera…"
