The Emperor Is Searching

Dae-Du was the last set that escaped on the lifeboat alive before the ship sank. He hadn't cry since he turned ten but that's what he's doing right now while still watching the sinking ship in terror.

"What if she heard the alarm before you and was one of the first set that left in the lifeboat? Stop crying and this might be a possibility." One of the passengers who has been comforting him said while holding his shaky hands in comfort.

"I really want to believe that what you're saying could be a possibility but it just that, it's just that she was sleeping when I left her." Dae-Du said as fresh new tears began to flow down his cheek.

"OK, but don't kill yourself yet, when we get to shore, you can look around for her and you might be surprise to find her there waiting for you." The woman said and this gives Dae-Du hope.

Immediately they got to the shore, he didn't let the medic check him instead he jumped down from the boat and run to where all the rescued people are, he begin to look for Kleila while calling her name.

He looked at everyone's faces but he didn't find her, he fell to the floor in tears and stayed that way until people begin to lift him up and then move him inside a building. They kept telling him things that's worth living for, for they feared he lost his wife or someone so dear to him and that he might kill himself.

Dae-Du recovered from all the shock his body received yesterday, he didn't even know he slept a whole day away but he woke up with some strength and no longer was he shaken by the yesterday's incident ..only a little bit.

He got up from the mat which he was sleeping on and all around him are people who are still sleeping on a separate mats. They're the survivors from the ship.

He ran outside and that's when it sank on him that he doesn't know where he is.

He ran to the only man he saw outside. "Excuse me sir, please can you tell me where we are? He asked.

"This is Africa."The man answered after looking at him for a long time.

"Yes, yes, I know this is Africa but please tell me which part of Africa is this." Dae-Du plead and the man told him, he didn't say it though, he pointed at a sign board which stated the name of the Country.

"What, god!" Dae-Du gasp in shock when he saw the country name, he has never been here and he doesn't know his way around, also he has never heard of it before.

"Sir, sir!" Dae-Du called while running after the man who walked away after showing Dae-Du the country name.

"Please sir, how can I go back to my kingdom from here, our ship was the one that sank, please." Dae-Du pleaded and when he mentioned the incident with the ship, the man took it upon himself to see Dae-Du home, he asked Dae-Du the name of his Kingdom and after Dae-Du told him, he instruct Dae-Du to follow him.

He first of all took Dae-Du to a canteen where he bought food for him before taking him to the ship that will get him home.

Dae-Du thanked him for he also paid for everything, Dae-Du money except the few changes he kept with him before going to the ship bear parlor, they all sank with the ship.

Inside the ship, he closed his eyes and pray for the very first time ever, he prayed that the ship wouldn't sink like the other did.
