The Emperor Is Searching

A slow foot walks quietly towards the Empress chambers and when he gets there, he search the two sides corridor and when he was satisfied with his findings, he greets the Empress guards before bowing down on the Empress mat.

"Long live Your Highness, it is i your faithful servant, Jae-kuk. I came with an important information." The Emperor servant said and immediately he finished the Empress herself opened the door for him.

"Out!" She ordered her maids leaving only her right hand maid and ghost guard who although isn't seen inside the room, but he's somewhere there.

She walks back to her mat, sits down and begin to look at Jae-kuk who's now on his knees. "Get up and speak!"

Jae-kuk did as he was ordered. "Your Highness, the Emperor plan on leaving early tomorrow morning. They have found the girl."

Immediately he finished his last statement, the Empress got up from her mat. "What!" She yelled in shock for she wasn't expecting this news, she thought the girl was dead and this means new problems for her.

"Hyung-sik!" She yelled for her guard who's standing outside her chambers.

He got in and bowed. "Get Elder Yong-gi daughter for me, hurry!" She ordered and when Hyung-sik got up to do as he was commanded, she called him back and told him to do it discreetly because she doesn't want the Emperor to suspect anything.

When he left, she told the Emperor servant to go back to his post before the Emperor will find out that he's missing and immediately, he did as he was told.

The Empress sat restlessly for a long time until Hyung-sik returned with the girl in question, without wasting any time she urge him in and ordered him out after presenting the girl to the Empress.

Mi-Ok bowed down but the Empress stop her, she took her to mat where they sit down.

"You asked of me Your Highness." The girl asked uncomfortably for she's scared of the Empress.

They had only met face to face once and it was yesterday when her father forced her to come with him to the palace for he wants her to be the chosen consort of the Emperor or either still one of his concubines. 

Her father has always been one who likes power, he envies the Royal family and wish to be part of them in any way possible and so of course when he heard about the secret scouting of the Emperor's wife, he dragged her to the palace to meet the Empress mother with the excuse that his farm blossomed very beautifully this year and he got some of it for the Empress and I of course was the one who presented.

 Mi-Ok won't be classified as a bitter person but she never forgets, she can still remember those days when she used to fantasizes about living in the palace, it was the only thing she prayed for even when Seo Woo and the Emperor were together.

 But those fantasies died the day she found the Emperor looking at a hiding Kleila.
