The Emperor Is Searching

"The sound ..no, no, the laughter. Why is it still loud?." Nena asks the Emperor's maid who's busy adding soap inside her bath.

The maid stopped what she was doing and turned to listen, but turned back in confusion and shrugs her shoulders. "No one is laughing, my Lady, and it seems there's no one outside for it's very quiet." She replied and continued with what she was doing, but Nena stopped her.

"It's alright, I can manage from here." Nena said and when the maid finally left her, she covered her face with her hands in embarrassment.

She didn't know, but she understands it all now after the Emperor's sister explained it all to her. At first when she and the Emperor were still in the bush, she thought she was dying. 

The Emperor pleaded and pleaded for her to talk to him and after some time, she did.

 She told him and he didn't say anything for a while and after that while, he carried her and left her with his sister who explained everything to her.

 Jang-mi took Nena to where she's now, gave her clothes to wear, a napkin to use and then called the maid to help her clean up before leaving the room to give them some space.

But ever since the Emperor's sister left, Nana has been beating herself mentally. 

"How can this happen in front of the handsome man?"

"How am I going to face him?" 

These are the thoughts roaming her mind and then she started picturing the few men she saw outside when the Emperor was bringing her in, she pictured them laughing at her when they learned what happened.

"Ughhh!" She yelled frustratedly.

She quickly grabbed a sponge and started cleaning herself when she thought she heard someone footsteps. 

"Hmmm." She signed in relief when that wasn't the case but continued bathing, not wanting the Emperor's sister to come back and find her in the same position she was when she left her with the maid.

For some reasons, she wants to please the Emperor's sister.

After bathing and putting on the clothes the Emperor's sister set for her, she opened the bathroom and began walking towards the direction the Emperor's sister showed her. 

She was told to knock on her door when she's done so that she will get her some food and they'll talk more about what happened to her.

But as Nena is walking, she doesn't know where she's going, the lone passage seems new in her eyes, but one thing is sure in her mind and that is that this building is the most beautiful building she has ever seen, even more beautiful than their palace. But then you can't place their palace among the beauty category, it wasn't built to be beautiful. 

It speaks there culture outloud.

"It's special, while this is beautiful." Nena concluded in her mind as she walked and then when she thought she wasn't going to find a room with a door or a person's face, she saw thousands of them.

At first, she wanted to run back when she saw them, but they all bowed in greeting to her.

"They're nice people, unlike the stupid elders in this kingdom who hits you with their walking stick if you forget to greet them." She mused and then she too bowed and said "Good day."

She continued to walk forward but when she remembers that she doesn't know where she's going, she went back to the group of men.

She walked up to the shortest one among them and just stood in front of him. She did this because she doesn't know how to ask him what she wants. 

"The Emperor is inside his chamber, please follow me, I shall escort you there." He said and instantly Nena followed him while smiling happily that the man was able to speak her language. 

As she continued following the man, she kept on thinking. "That doesn't sound like Altha language and if it isn't Altha language, how was I able to understand it?."

These thoughts started clouding her mind and she stopped walking. She was about to call the man, but the man too has stopped.

 She walked up to him.

"How.." She began to ask and when she realized that she's asking it in the man's language, she stopped herself.

 She just stood there,, it was the man who said "My Lady." and then knocked on a door. "My lady.." The man began to say but the door opened interrupting him.

The guard turned and saw it was the Emperor, he bowed and excused himself.

The Emperor held his hand out to Nena, but Nena didn't take it, instead she ran and hugged him.

She did this because she was embarrassed, she didn't know the guard was taking her to the Emperor's room, she thought it was his sister's. 

She holds him tightly, hiding her face on his body in the process.
