The Emperor Is Searching

"Kleila." He called once again, his voice steamed and gentle at the same time but they scared Kleila and this made her began to cry while thinking that he's angry at her for always following him.

"I'm sorry." She said softly before removing her face from his hold and hiding it on her hands.

"Are you really?' he asked. "If you don't tell me your reason for always following me when you think I'm not aware then I will like you to get up from here and never show yourself to me again, unaware or aware.

As he says this, Kleila begin to cry more profusely although soundlessly, and when he finished, she got up and began to leave but the Emperor pulled her to him.

She looks at him, startled. She tried getting up but his hold around her wrists are firm, she begins to cry all over again as she says in a pleading and tiny voice.

"It wasn't my intention to make the Emperor angry, please forgive me. I.. I just kept following you because, because.. I.. I, please forgive me, I promise I won't do it again."

But before she could finish her last stuttering statement, the Emperor pulled her to him and hug her while telling her to stop crying.

At first she was so shocked that she stayed immobile for a while but when the Emperor began to wipe off the tears in her eyes, she hugged him back.

"I saw you Kleila but you're so young." He said as he seat her on his l.a.p. "What do you really want?.' He asked while looking at her.

"I'm scared to say it." She said as she places her head on his shoulder, hiding her face in the process.

"Don't be, you can tell me anything."

"I want to be with you." Kleila said shyly but when the Emperor didn't say anything, she begin to panic while saying incoherent things.

"I didn't.. I know mother said Lady Seo Woo is going to be your legal consort but I.. I saw when you were telling her that you don't want to ever see her so I thought, I'm sorry Your Highness, I just, I'm sorry.." Kleila kept apologizing and then she begins to get up out of nervousness but the Emperor didn't let go.
