The Emperor Who Loves Me Dearly

"Where do you plan to venture?" Dominick Feng asked the three persons inside his limousine.

As of now, he is on his way to pick-up Wei Li and have some fun with his doll. That face of hers is not suited to be wasted on the front desk, greeting random strangers. The emperor of Giredel empire wonders why he hasn't seen her before, he only noticed her upon arrival, a day before he came to know that Lilie will be staying in Xarma hotel.

"Well, for starters, Celestia needs to see one of your main attractions here," it was Lilie who responded, she started twirling her straight hair…maybe she'll get some curls later.

"Ah, I see. Funland eh?" Dominick showed one of his playful smiles, it's a perfect place to take Wei Li on a date, however, for them to go out publicly, he needs to inform the owner to close it for the day.  

"Yes, Celestia will also buy Aiden his request, stuffed Nemo" Lilie continued and so, Dominick nods in agreement. His fingers clicked what it seems to be a remote. This mad the black divider between the driver and him to go down.

"We will pick up Wei Li, then off to Funland," he said.

"Copied, your Majesty"

After speaking a few things with his driver, the emperor clicked a button that rolled up a divider.

"Wait, this is not the route to Funland!" Lilie reacted after noticing that the path they are taking doesn't correspond to what the GPS on her phone says, they are entering a high-class condo unit.

"Shh, my little princess, I will take Wei Li first before proceeding to Funland to accompany you," he said, winking.

The limousine stopped and opened its door, and before Lilie could even react to the name of Dominick said, it already confirmed the question in her mind.

"F.u.c.k!"

'Dominick really sucks at picking up girls…of all the women he can have, he chose this Ms. Prim receptionist?'

She glared at the emperor, his chiseled jaw clenches as his eyes sparks upon looking at the pretty lady who entered the limousine. Wei Li's get-up today is very different from what Lilie has seen on the counter in Xarma hotel!

Her black and white uniform is nowhere to be found, replaced by a colorful ombre dress in colors white, blue and baby pink, her neatly bunned black hair is now overflowing up to her back…she even got the curls Lilie is thinking of having just now!

The driver started turning around, their next destination?

The Giredel's empire Carnival Cruise ship, the biggest one in the whole world and one of their main events wherein mages can show off different tricks to the tourist. A carnival that happens inside a cruise ship, what could even be more entertaining and romantic than that?

"I refuse to accept this!!" Lilie cannot take it anymore! Why is this woman who did not accommodate them properly gets to join in their crusade?

Wei Li's sparkling black eyes showed a sense of familiarity with the people inside.

"Y-your Majesty, I- I thought it's going to be only the two of us," she said in a whispery tone but it still reached the ears of all the people inside.

By that, Lilie started burning up in anger, her eyebrows are scrunched as she looks at the woman who is certainly a white lotus flower! Why is this Ms. Prim and Proper suddenly started stuttering? Isn't she so good with her practiced smile and accommodating speech? What happened to her composure?

"What is the meaning of this Dominick?! Do you know this woman, Feng?" Lilie said, calmly…her lips pursed in a tight seal after she said those words with coldness.  Calm before storm, that's what it's called.

"Of course. I'm the one who ordered to tease you a little bit" the emperor smirks as he puts his arm around Wei Li, "She did a great job, didn't she?"

The nerve of this guy to ask!

"I-I'm sorry for that m-ma'am," Wei Li bows her head, she should act nicely, after all, this is her chance to bind the most powerful man in their empire! What great luck she has! By this, she can finally provide for the medical expenses of her mother and brother.

"Honey, you don't need to address Lilie as 'Ma'am'," the emperor intervened, this woman he has gotten sure is a big catch, he wonders why no one has seen potential in this beauty, maybe it's because Wei Li tried to keep off good-looking guys as much as possible…

'What a sweet girl…' he thought, before staring back to Lilie, 'unlike this tomboy in front of me'

"The hell she won't! I am a f.u.c.kin princess" she cursed, she couldn't stop it anymore, "Let this woman out or else…" Lilie warned, her fists balled up in a curl while Ted tries to calm her down, Celestia can only pat the fuming woman on the back, "Yanyan" she said softly almost like a whisper, however, Celestia knows that it will not be enough to calm her friend down.

Wei Li's face paled, the woman she's talking to is a princess?! She's mere trash in front of Lilie's eyes then! Her fingers began to tremble, maybe, going out with an esteemed emperor such as Dominick Feng is the biggest mistake she has committed!

She certainly doesn't belong in his social circle nor will she ever be!

Her eyes began to water, all she wants is to make a decent living, it's not her intention to make a mess out of this situation. She even tried to assist Lilie with getting the next best room to presidential suite…she's just following orders!

A small drop of tear fell on her eyes, "I-I'm sorry ma'am" she said once again.

"Let this woman out, Dominick! OUT!" Lilie Grayson harrumphed, her feelings won't feel at peace looking at the woman in front of her. She doesn't know why her blood boiled too much upon seeing Wei Li's face again.

Dominick Feng did not respond, however, the mischievousness surrounding his eyes is now gone, replaced by a serious one. He is tired of dealing with Lilie's spoiled attitude, sure, she doesn't like attention from the media nor too many fancy clothes, but this…getting fumed at a stranger, that, Dominick Feng can and will never understand.
