The Factory's Secret

The three friends got on Aria with success.

"It worked Caro. It's incredible!" told her Mike

"I know, I can see exactly the same as you see, on my screen. By the way Luna is waiting for you in her tower. It's not so far. On the left track there." Caro guided them.

This time, the territory looked like a big forest with trees that were five meters up in the air and green tracks all around. Under them, always the same sea, a digital sea that seemed like it had no end.

"Caro? What's with the sea? What should I do if I want to swim." asked Jo, curiously

"I think you have to jump, Jo." Madd answered pushing him towards the sea.

"Madd stop immediately! If he falls in the sea, it will absorb you and make you disappear!" Madd stopped immediately after she heard that.

"Wow that's nice..." she said afterwards.

They found what they thought was Luna's tower, but when they entered they saw that Luna wasn't there, but there was a database and it was written on the screen that to change of territory you have to jump from the tower's platform.

"Ok, well, do that, but first join Luna. Her tower is just besides yours" Caro said after she had found out good news.

When they got Luna they jumped down the platform and they were on the river's sector when they exit a dark blue tunnel. Before they could even look out the tower, a giant blue ladybug attacked them.

"Caro there's a welcoming committee around here" said Mike as he held his arm, hurt by the laser the ladybug pitched to them.

"I saw that. And did you see the logo on its face?"

Its forehead was adorned by a fully coloured of white small square and on its outside another white square surrounding the first one.

Then Mike got hit by a second laser on his leg and disappeared in white small rectangles forming his body's shape.

"Caro, what happened to him?!?" asked Madd to Caro, worried by the only guy that made his heart beat louder.

"He's fine Cinderella, he just got devirtualized, because you have a certain amount of life points. More the ladybug hits you, the more you lose life points, Mike lost them all. That's just why he disappeared, he's in the scanners room." Said Caro obviously mocking Madd.

When the ladybug devirtualized them all, because they had no weapon, they couldn't seem to understand where did the ladybug came from and why did it attack them

"They can't enter towers, I'll know why soon." Said Caro to her friends.

"Soon, like when?" asked Madd to Carolina to know how long they would have to wait for her.

"Go back to college without me I'll be there by tomorrow" Caro said to Madd, clearly answering a question she didn't ask.

"So can I have your dinner?" asked Jo suddenly interested in this affair.

Caro nodded at Jo and she wasn't thinking she would get a big reaction like the one she had. Jo just yelled:

"Yes nice tonight it's steak fries!"

They went to college and had dinner without Carolina, they wished each other good night and they went to bed.

In the laboratory was Caro working on her computer seeking informations on this insect she thought was dangerous.

"So, do you have something? I still haven't found interesting stuff on the ladybug, or its programmer" said Luna to Caro. "How is it going for you?"

"I think I got something, but let me think"

Luna understood the message of Caro, a pleasing for silence.

"Yes! It's the ladybug's sources and signals I found! I will tell you where it's localized in a second" said Caro, tired, but motivated

Since they've known Luna, Caro spent almost all of her night in the factory and she didn't get the sleep she needed, but she had to know what all of this stuff in the factory was about.

"There it is. What does that mean? The computer is telling that the signal's source is localized on Aria itself!" Said Caro, but she didn't have time to give an explanation to Luna that her cat robot "Larry" attacked her and left her injured and unconscious on the floor. The last thing she saw before the nursery were the eyes of the cat. One square fully coloured of white and another white square surrounding the first one.
