The Factory's Secret

The next morning, Caro woke up in the factory, that became her new house since three weeks and Luna woke her on time for class, because she knew exactly what their schedule was. She had just enough time to take a shower before breakfast. She hurried and joined her friends in the cafeteria of the school. It was eight in the morning, classes didn't even start yet and Caro was so tired she could barely keep her eyes opened. Jo and Madd accompanied her to math class, where she fell asleep, just like in science and English class. It was lunchtime they went to cafeteria again, Caro ate a bit, then fell asleep. At last, they had Spanish class, where she didn't even give a try to keep an eye open. As soon as she arrived in the classroom, she laid on her desk and fell asleep. The school's director asked her to come with him in his office where he'd close the door and ask her if everything was fine and if she got enough sleep.

"Yes of course, I've never been in a so good shape." she said before she realised she had hair everywhere.

"So this drawing in your face is okay, then." Mr. Brown said tending a mirror so she can see the reflect off her face.

"WHAT THE F*CK IS THAT??" answered madly Caro after she saw the drawing of a mustache with big eyebrows and and obvioussigns of tiredness.

"Okay. Mrs. Miller calm down please, just breathe and I'll try to help you with you're sleeping issues." said the director

"Oh it's okay you know, I'm just studying too much. I'll care about myself tonight. I'll just sleep all evening" said Caro, proud of her excuse.

"Okay I count on that. I hope you'll be in better shape tomorrow. I'll see you later Mrs. Miller." he said saluting Caro and showing the door with his arm.

Just before she left, she heard a weird sound, like if a lightning came out of nowhere. She turned around and saw the director trying to catch her shirt and electrify her to take her asleep. She couldn't believe it! The director had X.A.R.A.'s sign in his eyes and he was bringing her to the factory by the sewer. When they arrived, the director took the "calling" option on the supercomputer and changed his voice for Caro's with vocal synthesizers. Caro didn't understand why he did that, but X.A.R.A. was taking her to the scanner room. She simulated to be asleep as the X.A.R.A. controlled director put her in a scanner. He went back in the laboratory and started the virtualization process. Once on Aria, Caro was dressed with a too short skinny sweater that let show her bellybutton. She also wore skinny black shorts. She had glasses like on Earth but these ones were black and more beautiful.

"Why do I look like Lisbeth?" she asked like if X.A.R.A. was going to answer her.

When the three friends arrived to save Caro, they had a surprise when they saw there was nobody in the laboratory.

"Where's Caro?" asked Mike.

"Is somebody here?" she yelled so that her friends could hear her even if she was in a different reality.

"Caro? You're on Aria?" Madd asked

"Madd? What are you doing here? The director left?" asked Caro, suprising Madd

"Caro, YOU called us to come to the factory." answered Madd

"I didn't! I'm here since the beginning of Spanish class!"

"Hmm and why would the director come here?" Madd said, curiously

"He brought me here from school, he was possessed by X.A.R.A. Isn't he in the laboratory?" asked Caro, not sure of what X.A.R.A. wanted to do.

"Caro? In which sector are you?" asked Jo so that Madd could situate Caro on her map.

"River." simply answered Caro

"I got you Caro. You're in trouble you know, there are giant bees hiding behind this lily. It says that you're armed of energy fields and energy shield. It also says that you are armed of energy fields and shields. You have to concentrate to throw them to the bees." said Caro

"Are they coming?" asked Caro, ready to defend herself

"Yes! Careful, on your left!" said Madd as Caro created a dark blue round-formed energy field.
