The Fallen Consort

Yi Ling's tears was endlessly falling from her eyes. It hurt her so much that King Jin doesn't remember her name.

She knew that her face looked different from the one King Jin met, but at he should be able to remember her name.

Seeing Yi Ling cried, made King Jin's heart melted. He threw his reserves away and dashed towards her. King Jin pulled her into his arms and patted her back.

"Please don't cry. I may not remember who you are but It pains me to see you cry. I don't know why but I feel like you're important to me." King Jin dropped his title again. He had never done it to any other woman except for his little sister and ex lover.

Yi Ling seems to have a very special place in his heart. He could only try to figure it out later about it.

Yi Ling was stunned. The pain inside her heart bursted out more as King Jin hugged her. She cried more and more in his c.h.e.s.t.

Yu Ran and the spiritual beast who finally caught up with King Jin saw them fight and argued. They both could see how angry the King was earlier, so they didn't dare interrupt. But then, they were shocked to see the King hugged his opponent. Even though the girl was very beautiful, King Jin had never paid attention to any flowers before.

Up in heaven, there were countless Flowers who wanted to be with the King. The King had never showed interest. As if he didn't had any manly needs.

"Do you really not remember anything at all?" Yi Ling murmured between sobs. She had never felt like this before. It was more painful than losing her family.

Looking at Yi Ling's teary eyes, King Jin shook his head. "I'm sorry, I really don't remember".

Yi Ling pursed her lips. She was keeping herself from crying again. She lifted her hand and touch King Jin's face.

"Let me try to make you remember?." She said softly. Yi Ling pulled King Jin's head closer to hers and she closed her eyes as she waited for their lips to touch.

King Jin eyes went wide, he understood what Yi Ling wanted to do. He had never been this close of contact before. He could not even remember m.a.k.i.n.g. .l.o.v.e or kissing with his ex lover. King Jin could push her away or dodge but he had already threw away his sanity.

Yi Ling seems to be able to command his heart to do what she wants. King Jin closed his eyes as he leaned down to her face. He didn't want her to have a hard time reaching him.

As their kiss touched, King Jin tasted her sweet lips. Their kiss got deeper as if they were the only ones in this place. That no matter who comes out right now, King Jin wouldn't be able to notice.

Their kiss lasted for a while, before Yi Ling ended the kiss. She felt like she was drowning in King Jin's arms. Her heart was beating so fast, King Jin took her breath away. She blushed but she didn't hide it.

King Jin's eyes opened the same time as hers. He licked his mouth, not wanting to end the kiss. He had never felt that he had manly d.e.s.i.r.es before, well maybe he did. He just can't remember. The kiss did feel familiar, but aside from that nothing else happened.

Yi Ling smiled. She placed her ears on his c.h.e.s.t and said.

"Hear with your ears.. but Listen with your heart".

When King Jin heard it, a flash back memory passed in his head. He had heard himself said those exact words to someone.

King Jin hugged a woman from behind. She was so beautiful that he couldn't help himself.

"King Jin, aren't you breaking your words now?" The woman said. She struggled in his embrace.

"Hear with your ears but listen with your heart". He murmured in her ears.

The woman stopped struggling.

The memory was short, but he could that it was him and a different woman. It wasn't Yi Ling but some other woman. Yet, the feeling that he felt while embracing her was the same feeling he felt with that other woman.

Who was she? Was the woman Jin Minzhe's mother? Is Yi Ling that woman's reincarnation?

King Jin smiled at Yi Ling. His hand wiped the tears in her face.

Yu Ran was about to go insane. He had never seen his King this soft hearted. Can someone tell me what's going on?!!

"Come with me." King Jin whispered to Yi Ling. He needed to know more and it seems like Yi Ling will be able the bridge to his lost memories.

"Where?" Yi Ling was puzzled.

"To my palace." King Jin replied.

"Where is that?" Yi Ling wanted to know where it was. When he asked Xiang He if he knew any Jin Kingdom around Huaxia, it seems like it didn't existed at all. That made her think that it was all her imagination.

King Jin smiled and looked up.

"Up there, in Heaven." he said.

Everything made sense now. Why nobody knew about Feng Kingdom up there and Jin Kingdome over here. Their worlds was different from each other.

Did Mu Xin and Jin Minzhe came from up there too? Now that she thinks about it, They seem to know King Jin and hated him. For what reason? When she was about to ask, Mei Ling who was silent finally spoke.

"You weren't supposed to meet and yet you did. You have changed some part of his memories that wasn't there before. Because of this, neither I nor Mu Xin will be able to see the outcome of this event. It is now up to you to make that choice."

"If you decided to go with him, You will live happily in this life time. To pay for this happiness. Mu Xin will still be imprisoned forever inside the Ring, King Jin will never be able to regain his old memories, You will never be able to avenge your family, You will never see your mother again and also... You will never unlock the Seals within you and the Secrets that laid inside with it."

"Are you willing to be happy? or are you willing to sacrifice this happiness for a greater good? Decide now or forever regret in this life time."

Mei Ling's voice echoed in her head. Tears formed again in her eyes. What cruel fate was this? Why was it always me? My family, My friends? and then My lover? Why? What have I done to receive this fate? Can't she be allowed to be happy for once?! But who could she complain it to?

King Jin was shocked to see Yi Ling crying again. Did he said something wrong? Somehow, he felt a slight pain in his heart. His brain may never know, but his heart remembers everything.

He and Yi Ling was never meant to be together.
