The First Evolution

It was after Durun picked up the stone that he felt something wasn’t right! It felt very loose, so he held it up to observe it confusedly. He was immediately chilled to the bone. It turned out that this so-called “King’s Stone” was just a piece of black stone and white stone glued together.

Not only that, it was glued together carelessly. Probably because the glue was very little. One had to pinch it together to make it seem seamless…

The other 3 people also gathered around by now, but it was right at this moment, the 2 stones exploded!

Needless to say, the 4 of them were powerful contractors after all. They immediately took action to protect themselves.

Naturally, they took some drinking water out of the storage space to wash their bodies.

But 2 minutes later, Coles suddenly felt that something was wrong. He was a scout after all, so his perception was definitely not low. The feeling he got was like the sultry heat before the storm in summer, which made him hard to breathe.

In this case, Coles immediately warned loudly,

“Everyone be careful. I think something isn’t right!”

The 4 immediately hid in a small house next to them.

Sure enough, just 10 seconds after his warning, a figure appeared in the fog not far away. It was the black man Daniel. But this time, he had a dull expression and was running fast.

Daniel probably escaped from the fog for a dozen meters, then a giant bird emerged out of it!

This giant bird was covered in golden feathers. It was as big as a rhinoceros and had 4 wings, the front pair being bigger while the hind pair seemed smaller. Its beak was hooked like an eagle and shone like it was made of metal. The feathers were fluffy and shiny, gleaming with the radiance of life.

Not only that, it had a thick tail. Although it was also covered in feathers, some naturalists named this feather scaled feathers. It meant that the feathers were a combination of scales and feathers.

Of course, something even more impressive was its legs. It was different from those thin legs of other birds. This giant bird’s legs could only be described as thick and muscular. The posture it ran in was similar to that of an ostrich, and it was extremely fast.

Then the thunderbird stuck its head into the house. It was enraged when it smelled the strange smell. The feathers on its body fluffed out, making it look 30% bigger. Blue lightning even sparked on its body!

At the same time, it made a hoarse “quack“, withdrew its head and looked around suspiciously.

Obviously, the fact that Daniel’s phantom disappeared before was now completely at the back of its brain. Right now, its head was filled with the peculiar smell — It was the smell usually left behind by a male thunderbird in heat when it tried to provoke another!

Of course, the director of this good movie was no other than Team Fantasy, Fang Linyan, and Robbie.

Robbie had prepared a potion to lure thunderbirds before because his original plan was to find a dog and smear the potion on the dog. The dog was supposed to attract the Thunderbird’s attention while he went into the Thunderbird’s nest to retrieve his suitcase by himself.

This plan seemed good on paper, but in reality, the biggest problem was that not even a dog in the magical world could buy him much time. The thunderbird was on the high end of the magical creature food chain due to its high lethality.

So, Robbie’s potion became an important part of this plan.

The arms expert in Team Fantasy, Kurt, transformed a smoke bomb into an explosive trap.

Lipper provided the illusion.

Daniel did the most dangerous thing – shooting at the thunderbird from a distance. He was responsible for attracting its hatred to himself, then he turned to the back of the house next to him to temporarily make the thunderbird lose sight of him.

When the thunderbird rushed over, what it saw was the illusion of Daniel running, so it naturally chased the illusion.

And Fang Linyan was responsible for suggesting the whole idea.
