The group from the Genan guild return back to the city they ventured out from. Coming back from the quest which had already been broadcasted to be completed by someone else, their fellow guild members who saw them were surprised they brought back loot after they offloaded at the treasury. Their leader went to deliver his report immediately after they got back, and left his team to process other things, surprisingly for him, the leader of their guild was present waiting for him.

"Sir.." He said as he saw the guild master.

"We will talk in my office." The guild master said before turning around to lead the way.

Back in the office, the group leader delivered a very detailed report of the happenings while they were on their quest to clear the certain area, and although his report was a bit lengthy, same could not be said about the details. Not many parts of his report contained information on Dustin, and that was the actual thing the guild master wanted.

Being a calm man, the guild master listened to him to the very end without interrupting much, and after the group leader was done with his report, he was dismissed and told to take a break and rest, both he and his group that ventured out for the quest.

'Dustin..." The guild master said in his mind as he thought about the kind of person this man called Dustin would be.

"I have to contact Nathan first, then we will decide." Marcel said, as he took himself out of his circle of thoughts and resumed his guild master duties.

...

Dustin on the other hand, while the news of him clearing an entire area alone was steering the populous, he had just gotten home after that, and just like he felt when he entered his house, there was a visitor waiting for him, and the lights in his house were already switched on, with a fresh aroma of tea leaves coming from his kitchen. Without any doubt in his mind, Dustin knew who it was- "The Messenger."

"Ahh, welcome back trouble maker, here, come have some tea." The messenger said in a cheery tone.

"What is it this time?" Dustin asked, as he accepted the offer like he it wasn't his own house.

The messenger from there on exposed to Dustin the effects his accomplishments was having all around and the importance for him to keep it up and maintain the first position in the rankings. Dustin didn't really care for all this, and he made it quite clear to the messenger what his stance was in the whole thing. He just wanted to get stronger.

Though, the messenger was a little confused when Dustin said that, he didn't bother to ask or dig deep any further, everybody had their own weirdness, even he himself. Really, what kind of person goes to places where he could certainly die, and then call that getting stronger?.. It was really weird. There was also the fact that the messenger was yet to deliver on the reward he owed Dustin, but Dustin wasn't expecting much, so he didn't bother to ask much about it.

The messenger did look like he wanted to say something, and Dustin noticed it, but he just smiled and after sometime left Dustin's house. Dustin wandered what it was the man had to say, but in the end since he didn't say it, it probably wasn't important, thought Dustin.

After this last expenditure, Dustin knew it was time for him to leave the town and move elsewhere. After spending some days in the town, Dustin was ready to leave as he had stocked up on all the food and water he needed, after all, this time he would not be travelling alone.

During this time, Dustin had developed quite the interest in Rea, the girl that saved him when he returned from the strange realm. It wasn't like they had any kind of romantic or necessarily friendly kind of relationship, but both of them could feel something that was unexplainable.

It was as though they needed to be close to each other, but where or why they were having this gut feeling, none could tell. In the end, Dustin decided it was best for them to stick together and agreed to the girl's request to tag along.

While he engaged himself in all the clearing of areas and all that, he tasked the girl with becoming stronger than she was. When he met her, she was very weak, and for someone who had spent all those years in Na'ash, it just didn't make any sense. Dustin did find out however that the girl had some kind of illness, which he helped her to heal using some potion he got as a reward from the messenger after the volcanic region rescue. The potion was supposed to be something very precious that had even been blessed by the goddess of light, but Dustin didn't really need it, and the messenger gave him three, so he still had two.

From what Dustin could tell, the girl managed to get close to becoming a C rank in strength, and there were cases where she could somewhat see the future, though it was random and mostly useless things she would see, but they were very accurate to a large degree.

Dustin himself was yet to check his rank and since he had the system, it didn't really matter to him in the end. Though, he was told he would have to later on to be able to enjoy the benefits of an adventurer, as the locals of Na'ash called those who came from earth.

Riding on the back of the dragon, Dustin and Rea departed for one of the major cities in this part of Na'ash, Calcit.

There were no serious bonds formed in the town, and though Dustin was pretty fund of the city lord and her assistance, they weren't really close to each other in reality. The city lord only readily answered Dustin because she was spying in him for the messenger, and her assistant followed her orders. Dustin who had predicted this made sure to make use of them whenever he could in subtle ways, and now that he was leaving the town, they all waved each other goodbye and briefly and returned to their lives respectively.

In the end, everyone and everything is only a means to an end.
