(Aye.. This unfilial child that does not want this Author to rest, I have answered thy summons. NOW! Grant me thy powerful reward!.. Secretly begging.)

Like a true mystery man, Dustin left the safe zone before sunrise the next day. He didn't want to have to say goodbyes and have touching moments, that just wasn't his style. But, instead of moving forward, he headed backwards.

"I'm pretty sure we past those guys by the way." Dustin said, as he hopped from tree to tree, travelling at amazing speeds. By the time the sun was up, he had found what brought him back.

The group of people that had used the sacrifice tactics on John and Aria, those were the people he was after. Dustin was a guy that minded his own business, but he was also a guy that kept his word. Well, for most of the time.

Apart from keeping his words, maybe it was because Dustin was from the rough life on the streets that had one always checking their backs, Dustin knew how dangerous leaving loose ends was. He had known some guys got killed just because they saw something that they weren't supposed to, or heard something they weren't meant to.

Although, these guys weren't a loose end, but they had actually attempted to sacrifice a child, and they most definitely would give John and Aria trouble if they were to meet in the future.

Dustin trusted Mizu's capability to protect Aria, but that didn't mean that she would be with her all day and all night. He just felt like taking care of these guys now would be better.

"Can't allow people that take advantage of children run around right?" Dustin said, as he caught sight of his first prey.

In the group that ran away, there were two females, and two males. Their ages were spread out within maybe 25 and 40, but that didn't matter. They would soon be going to were eternal life was a thing.

Dustin observed from atop a tree, where he was watching the group from. He wasn't going to say much, he would just swoop in, send some people to sleep, and move on. This was Dustin's plan of action. There was no need to explain to someone who was about to die the reason for their death. That was just too dramatic for him.

'If I'm gonna do it, might as well test out some things, right?' He said in his mind as he casted a quick glance at his palm.

He had been using a sword whenever he killed goblins, so he didn't know how much force his bare hands carried. These guys before him would make good lab rats for him, he thought.

"Let's see what 24 points in strength can do." Dustin said as he jumped down from the from the tree.

*Dum *Crack

The first step Dustin took after he touched the ground, he broke a branch that collected the attention of everyone. Though, he was going to anyway.

"Hey! Who ar..!" The oldest amongst them who was closest to Dustin said, just before he was eternally interrupted by Dustin's fist to his skull.

The force of Dustin's punch was so much, he would have never expected this fists to carry so much power. He was actually able to bash the man's skull inward and exposed some brain matter. If that wasn't enough to kill him, the whip lash he would suffer due to the extremely fast and sudden movement of his head would seal the deal.

'Isn't this like handing a robot sledge hammer? Too op!' Dustin thought as he saw the man's head sink in while he remained lifeless a couple feet away from him.

The others that saw this were utterly horrified. A stranger had just begun attacking them from nowhere, and he was freakishly strong. They couldn't escape, and they didn't know his goal. All they could do, as it had dawned on each of them, was to beg for their lives, and pray that the man before them takes pity. Unfortunately for them, their fates had already been sealed.

'That was the fist. Now let's try the palm.' Dustin thought, as he shifted his gaze towards the other man, who was a bit younger than the one he had just killed.

Again, before they could process the situation, and maybe they girls would scream or something, he had slammed his palm into the man's chest. Dustin could feel as the man's ribs broke and shattered, and unlike the first man, this guy was actually sent flying a significant distance, until he met a tree.

This two had died in less than five seconds, literally. It wasn't just his strength, Dustin's speed was also monstrous to these ordinary people. They couldn't even register the movements of his hands. They only knew he had used them to attack because he held his fist in position after the attack. As for his movement, it was shaking a glowing stick before your eyes at a fast pace. One could only register a series of blurs and after images.

While Dustin wasted time examining his hand, 'is Buddha's palm also so powerful?', the girls had finally started doing what they did best, scream.

'Noisy.' Next was to try and stab through the opponent. Just like Dustin pictured it in his head, his hand had gone through the girl's body. However, Dustin quickly pulled it out. Unlike the movies, guts in real life also had shit. Don't want a smelly hand now, he thought, as his gaze fell upon the girl.

'I'm dead. I'm actually going to die here!' She thought to herself. Her face churned up, and her eyes started dropping tears uncontrollably, with bits of saliva dropping from the sides of her mouth.

'How should I kill this one?' Dustin thought, as he walked slowly up to her. At that moment, something interesting happened.

From the girl's perspective, the image of Dustin turned to that of a grim reaper, or some kind of demon for a second that felt like hours, and then, after a series of louder screams, she simply collapsed on herself and died.

Dustin had just released his bloodlust.

'I did it again. She actually died from perceiving my bloodlust. Is this thing so powerful?' Dustin thought.

He had killed all three in the group without any thoughts, just like stabbing a piece of paper, he just killed them. But this last girl, he actually, for a moment, thought of how to kill her. Was that the trigger for the skill? He wondered. He would have to study it more later. Something so powerful might become a double edge sword when around allies or innocent people, but then again. John and Aria didn't seem to be affected last time.

'This skill is a bit complicated. I really need to look into it. And it's fucking passive too. Heh..'

On closer inspection, Dustin could see that the girl pissed herself, and he weird odour he was perceiving... He didn't want to think that far. 'This skill is too domineering.'

Dustin turned and looked at the dead bodies that littered the floor, and he couldn't help but question his humanity. He had killed them so easily without thinking much about it, like crushing ants. Something was wrong.

'I know I don't feel much from seeing others die, I've seen it quite a few times too. But then, I only suppressed my emotions, because I had to. Deep down, I still felt something. But now...'

"What happened to me?" As he asked this question, unexpectedly, the system gave him an answer.

.. 'This is due to your nature, Cold Blooded.'

"Cold blooded? I did remember the system said I had three gifts, but I only saw two. So the other one's this?" 'Wait!'

Dustin then willed the status screen to open.
