The Gamer In Teen Wolf

Chapter 3 - The Notebook

Today is Lydia's party, but I don't think I'll go. Allison is the only person I'm friends with that will be there and I don't want to be a third wheel. I'm just going to stay home and do some chores/quests and train.

I've also begun to train my body while I'm training my mana skills. When I thought of this, I also thought about how I have a gamer's body, and how I had once thought that I cut myself, but when I checked there wasn't a cut. I then checked if my HP decreased and it did. In order to test my Gamer's Body skill, I decided to try out an intense workout and went for it until I couldn't move anymore.

Then, 30 minutes later I could get back up again as good as new. That was how I thought of combining my training. This idea also increased my wisdom by one. I also got a new skill:

[[[Training Proficiency] LV 2] It increases the efficiency of all training by 2%.]

Which is a pretty amazing skill in my opinion, because I could increase my stats faster as it levels up.

Later in the evening, after dark, I received a text from Allison saying:

[Scott totally ditched me at the party.]

I respond with:

[Do you need a ride? I can come get you.]

[No. One of his friends offered to take me home.]

[That's weird. I didn't think he had any friends other than Stiles. Are you sure you can trust him?]

[Yeah. I think so. He seems nice. Also, I'm honestly pretty worried and angry right now. Scott seemed like he was in pain or sick.]

This was when I realized that tonight was a full moon. It must have some effect on him since he's a werewolf. I hope he's okay. Then I respond with:

[Do you want me to come over? We can have a movie night and stay up since it's Friday.]

[I think I'd like that. I don't really want to be alone right now.]

[On my way.]

After sending that, I make my way over to Allison's with haste.

I made it to the Argents in 4 minutes by running. I was out of breath and slightly sweaty, but I'm here. I walk up to the door and knock. It immediately opens as soon as my knuckles made contact with the door. Allison rushes out and hugs me. I'm a little surprised, but I just hug her back and wait for her to let go.

After a few long moments, we walk inside. I sit down next to her on the couch. The fireplace is burning, and the lights are off. Allison has the Notebook ready to play. There is a big bowl of popcorn on the table next to a box of tissues. It seems like she wants, and is prepared, to cry.

There are many pillows and blankets on the floor. We sit with the bowl of popcorn in between us and she hits play.

After it started, neither of us said anything and just enjoyed each other's company as we watched the movie. I've seen this movie too many times, because it's my mom's favorite. About halfway through, my eyes start growing heavy because of the mental exhaustion from my new training method. I soon fall asleep. I'm not sure what happened afterwards, but when I woke up, I felt something heavy on my c.h.e.s.t. I look down and see Allison sleeping perpendicular to me with her head and arms on my c.h.e.s.t. She truly is beautiful, and her sleeping face accentuates it.

Now that I think about it, the warmth of my mana wires is probably the cause of this.

After thinking this, I take in my surroundings for the first time. The first thing I notice is the smell of coffee, then I see Mr. Argent sitting on the sofa behind us. Looking at us.

It startled me and I flinched. We made eye contact and neither of us said anything, until I noticed my little jump had woken up Allison. "Good morning Mr. Argent." I said with a forced smile. "Good morning Will." He responds emotionlessly. At this point Allison opened her eyes and realized she was on me. She hurriedly sits up off of me, "Sorry Will." She says frantically as a blush comes across her face. Then she noticed her dad. Her face quickly loses its blush and turns pale. "Dad!" She yells, "This isn't what it looks like!"

"Oh, yeah. Well to me it looks like you had a date while I was out on business." He says. As Allison is about to say something, Mrs. Argent walks in and says, "He knows that's not true. I already explained to him what happened. He just wanted to scare the both of you." "Dad!" Allison howls with anger (AN- See what I did there lol… I'll see myself out). I let out a short chuckle before choking down my laughter. It must've been pretty obvious as everyone turned to look at me. I'm immediately embarrassed and I can feel the blood rushing to my face.

Everyone else found my blushed face amusing and started laughing. Even Mr. Argent.

After the laughter dies down, Mrs. Argent says, "I'll get breakfast ready." Then heads off to the kitchen. "I'll help too." Mr. Argent says as he gets up with a broad smile on his face and heads to the kitchen as well. "Well. I guess we should clean up." I say as I start picking up and folding blankets.

After a few minutes we have everything picked up and put them back to where they belong. I take the empty popcorn bowl, which Allison seems to have eaten almost entirely by herself, into the kitchen and place it in the dishwasher. As I start leaving, Chris comes up to me and quietly says with a serious face, "I don't know if you and Allison are in a relationship or not, but she cares about you a lot. So just know, if you hurt her. I hurt you." He then goes back to helping his wife prepare breakfast for everyone with a big smile on his face. The speed at which that man can change emotions is frightening.

I call my parents and explain to them what happened. They didn't seem too upset, but after I get home I'm grounded for the rest of the weekend. I just trained all weekend, so it flew by in no time.

Allison and I didn't talk in class much Monday. It was a busy day. During lunch, however, I sat with her, Lydia, and the various popular people.

Danny, the goalie of the lacrosse team, and I hit it off really well. We exchanged numbers and talked. He's an amazing guy. He's funny, kind, and good looking. He could have any girl he wanted, well, if he were straight. I feel a bit bad for him. There aren't many gay guys in our small town. There definitely aren't any that would be worthy of Danny. When lunch ended, we promised to hang out some time.

Class was boring, but the school day soon ended. When I walked out of the school, I saw Scott and Allison talking. It seemed to not be going well for Scott. Then Mr. Argent came to pick her up and that was when it hit me, Mr. Argent hunts Scott's kind.
