The Ghost Dungeon Master

Tank headed down towards the graveyard area, as he walked into the graveyard, he felt that it had increased in size. He headed to the nearest mausoleum and placed the kid inside. After he closed the door of the mausoleum, he realized that he didn't have anything on him to locked the mausoleum. He looked around him, and decided to take the grave stones and blocked up the door of the mausoleum.

Not long after he was done, the other group who were carrying the stolen goods came down as well.

"Hey, Tank doesn't this area seem bigger?" one of the bandits asked him.

"Yes, I also feel that it had increase in size."Tank replied as he followed them.

"Oh by the way, boss said he will take over the guard duty and let us recover for the time being." another bandit said as he place the crate down.

"Every time we come down to this place it always feel so eerie, it's as if some thing would pop up at anytime." Another bandit chatted up with them.

"Yea, let's quickly go back to top and take a rest."

"Alright, let's leave this scary place."

A few minutes before the bandits started chatting, in the dungeon master room, the ghost bought three bandages and place it into the wooden c.h.e.s.t. After that he summoned 4 zombies and got 1 of the skeletons in training to equip the bone spear.

After doing that, he looks at chibi and said, "I'll be going into the dungeon to check up on that boy, after those guys leave the graveyard area. After I am gone, I need you to send this 4 zombies and that skeleton with the spear. Like usual here's the reward box."

"Okay, please come back safe."chibi said in a soft voice.

Seeing those bandits leaving the floor, the ghost click teleport into the graveyard zone from the dungeon menu. He appeared right in front of the dungeon core.

He flew down to the mausoleum where he saw the bandit name tank had left the kid. He peeked in through the mausoleum from the top and waited for quite awhile, before the kid seems like he was about to wake up.

"AHHHHHHH!" A loud screech came from the mausoleum.

"Hey kid, stop screaming!"

"AHHHH, Help me, Save me, Don't Leave me here!" not listening to what the ghost had said, the kid continued to shout for help as he scrambled towards the door and bang hard on it with his hands.

The ghost flew out of the mausoleum, went over to the other side of the door and peek through right in front of the kid's face and said, "I say kiddo, if you don't stop screaming, I'll eat you."

Startled by the ghost head that came through the door, he fell backwards and quickly use his hands cover his mouth while his legs shuffle himself towards the back of the mausoleum.

The ghost flew through the door and floated in front of him, "Good, you finally listen, I have some questions for you. Nod if you agree to answer them."

Hearing that the kid immediately nod his head furiously.

"Okay, first do you promise not to scream?"

The kid nodded his head.

"Who are you and why are you a hostage for the bandits? By the way, I am not related to them."

"I am the son of Count Louis von Advenguard, I was in the merchant convoy when the bandits attack us. My escorts were quite a distance away clearing some of the monsters, the merchants gave me up as a hostage when the bandits saw my escorts rushing over. My escorts manage to kill 1 or 2 bandits before the bandits realized that they were my escorts and use me to stopped them in their tracks."

"I see, no wonder half the bandits were injured." after listening to what the kid had said, he came to a conclusion. "Hey kiddo, are you hungry?"

Before the kid could reply, a rumbling noise resounded in the mausoleum and he blushed. The ghost laugh and said, "Alright, I'll be right back."

The ghost flew out of the mausoleum and headed towards the other mausoleum where the new stolen goods were placed. As he remembered the bandit mentioning about potions and herbs. He poke his head through the crates and took 1 potion and a type of each herbs.

After taking a look at the items, the ghost flew up to the dungeon core and teleported back to the dungeon master room.

"Hmm, weird why is there an increase?" after seeing a slight increase in dp, the ghost found it weird as two bandits had die and there was only one more kid that the bandits had brought back, so he opened the dungeon status to check.

After checking, he looked into item shop for food.

The ghost bought a bread and water combo and a red bean bun. He looked around and saw chibi sitting on the floor watching the screen where the 2 bandit boss were struggling against the skeleton which is using the bone spear. He flew over and stroke chibi on the head, chibi looks up at the ghost and smile. He gave the red bean bun to chibi when she looked up.

To him, it felt like chibi was his granddaughter. Chibi open the packing and cautiously bit into the bun. In less then a second, her entire face lit up and she looked over at ghost and started smiling with her mouth full.

Realizing the battle haven't really ended, the ghost bought another wooden c.h.e.s.t and place the bread and water into the c.h.e.s.t. Next, he transferred the new wooden c.h.e.s.t over to the mausoleum where the kid was in.

Once he was done transferring, he teleported to the graveyard zone again. He flew straight to the mausoleum where the kid is at.

"Hey kid, have you eaten yet?" The ghost said as he was coming in through the roof.

Shocked by the sudden voice, the kid jumped up and shuffle to the corner of the mausoleum, but before the ghost came over, the kid was staring at the c.h.e.s.t that had appeared in the middle of the mausoleum.

The ghost saw that the c.h.e.s.t wasn't open so he flew down to it and opened for him, as he realized that the kid might be skeptical that it is a mimic.

"Hey kid, here's a bread and water for you." the ghost took out the food and pass it to him.

The kid grab the bread and water and begin gorging it down.

"Whoo-bm are wyo?" the kid tried to talk with his mouth full, but it seems like gibberish to the ghost.

"Hey kid, finish your food before talking." since the ghost couldn't understand what he was trying to say, he scolded the kid.

After a few minutes, the kid finished his food and started talking," Mr ghost, who are you? How come a c.h.e.s.t can appear in this place when I can't get out?"

"I am the dungeon master of this dungeon, the c.h.e.s.t can appear here because I made it appear here. Does that answer your question?"

"You mean we are in a dungeon? This is bad, dad always said dungeons are very dangerous, many adventures have died diving into dungeons. Dad always tell me to stay away from them. Does that means those bandits are your minions?" saying that the kid shifted back towards the walls.

"Yes you are inside dungeon, and no like I said before I am not related to those bandits, they are just freeloaders." the ghost answered and retorted at the same time.

"Frese-loasers?"question mark appear on top of the kid's head.

"Something like people who is staying at your house and not doing any work for anyone." the ghost tried to explain the best he can.

"Ohh, something like what my uncle is doing."

"Pftt! Okay, kid, my turn to ask some questions."

[Since this kid is a noble he should know the answers I need.]

After the ghost thought for a while, before asking,"Where are we? What is this continent? How many countries are nearby?"

"Erm, Mr ghost, we are in the Kingdom of Runeguard, I am not sure what continent this is called, but my teacher always call it the western continent." the kid begin explaining. "We should be.... somewhere.... around the border of kingdom.... and the Kingdom of Elfian. The merchant group... that I was in.... is traveling between.... these two kingdoms."

The kid became lethargic as his eyes seems to close and open, as he was trying to stay awake.

"Alright kid, go to sleep, I'll check on you in a few hours time."
