A few days passed, and Abel had Leveled up to Level 5, and Mary was now Level 8. Abel had also gotten a profession as a Dual Swordsman.

Abel opened up his stats as the two were riding on a horse towards Zalfari.

He had gotten a few new skills after the level ups, and also bought the [Minor Storage] for himself and Mary, so they did not have to carry around their supplies anymore. The storage space, was not that large, however, and was only as big as a closet.

Abel also looked at Mary's stats, and he realized that his stats were much stronger, that others at the same level as him, and he wondered if it was due to him being a Demi-God.

Abel wondered how much stronger he would get the higher level he was, because as of now he almost had more stat points than Mary, and he was three levels behind her.

Abel told Mary this, and she began to feel depressed thinking she could not help Abel any longer.

|You will be unkillable against anyone in the same Level!| Genesis said with a smug tone as if she was the one who was overpowered.

"Yeah, there is no need for you to feel depressed Mary because even if you can't protect me I will still protect you," Abel said trying to cheer her up.

Mary pouted and leaned back into Abel's c.h.e.s.t as she said "You will just leave me behind, and I will be one of those useless vase wives. Just pretty to look at, but not useful for anything."

"Worry not, because even if you are incapable of moving, and I have to carry you around everywhere I will still take care of you," Abel said patting her hair.

|Yup don't worry, when I get a body I will carry you around. And when you are old and wrinkled I will support you!| Genesis agreed to help Mary as well, but the talk about her getting old and wrinkled made Mary pout more.

Abel cursed Genesis in his head as he said: "Don't worry, I will purchase some elixir if it comes to that, so let's just cheer up, that is still a long time away".

Mary began to feel happier, as their conversations led towards lighter subjects, and Abel reminded Mary that she has to search in the Magician's Guild library for information about the crystal ball that was in Avery's Magic Trinkets shop.

Mary nodded and the three kept talking as they headed towards Zalfari for a second time.
