The Happy Go Gacha System

An 18 year-old young man is tapping away at his phone. It is unknown what he is doing until one got close and saw his screen. The young man continued tapping away at his screen as he walked to his university.

As he walked, some students greeted him, "Morning, Lin Feng" while others said "Hey, Handsome Weeb"

"Hey there" the young man named Lin Feng replied to them as he tapped away at his phone. Lin Feng goes to one of the top universities in Jiangnan City. He is known by many of the students and staff due to his handsome looks, however, everyone knows that he is an otaku who loves anime, manga, light novels and the likes.

His love for japanese culture earned him the title 'Handsome Weeb' which other students labeled him. Even though he came from a poor family, no one judged him and he also has a beautiful girlfriend who has equally stunning looks and supports his hobby.

Everyone on campus knows that the two of them are a match made in heaven. After tapping for at his phone for a while, his eyes glistened.

"Yes! I can do another multi pull!" Lin Feng shouted internally as he proceeded to click on the gacha page. Lin Feng plays many gacha games such as FGO, Dr*galia Lost and the likes. When he got to the screen and pressed on the eleven times pull, a strange message popped up on his screen.

'Would you like to go to another world?' it said. Lin Feng thought, "Huh? This is new, I don't remember seeing any news about it in the latest patch notes" he moved his finger and pressed 'No' right away making the message disappear.

Suddenly, the message popped up again and only had the yes option. "What the hell? What was the point in a no option then? But what is this nonsense about going to another world? There's plenty of isekai stories, I really hope it doesn't happen to me. I'm perfectly happy with my current life" he thought.

Just as he was about to close the app and reopen it, his surroundings became bright as a white light enveloped his entire body making him disappear from the planet Earth.

Opening his eyes, Lin Feng realised he was lying down on the ground and looking at the sky. "Huh? When did I fall asleep? I was just closing my gacha game and then suddenly everything became bright… Don't tell me!!" he thought as he jumped up and looked around at his surroundings.

Around him, all he could see were luscious trees and the sky above him. "Godd*mnit! Why did it have to happen to me!!! Give me back my waifus!!! Ling er!!!" he shouted at the top of his lungs towards the sky.

Lin Feng thought of his girlfriend as her beautiful face and figure appeared in his memory. The two of them had met in highschool and were in the same class for three consecutive years. Not only that, their seats were always next to each other for some unknown reason as if the heavens and earth wanted them to come together.

Both of them had plenty of pursuers but weren't interested, with Lin Feng spending most of his time on his hobby and his girlfriend Mu Lingzhu busy with her club. One day, Lin Feng was on the way home and saw Mu Lingzhu being bothered by guys from other schools.

Being the busybody he was, he poked his nose into it and fought with the three guys who were bothering her. After knocking them out, Lin Feng continued playing his gacha games and walked home without waiting for her to thank him.

It all started from that day, the very next day, Mu Lingzhu brought him a homemade meal to thank him for helping her. Taking the meal, he thanked her as they ate together outside the classroom on the rooftop.

For some reason, the two of them felt comfortable sharing a meal together which lead to her making him lunch everyday. Naturally he agreed since he didn't need to pay for his own lunch any longer and could spend it on anime and manga.

Over time, the two of them became attracted to each other and ended up dating by the start of their third year of highschool. Mu Lingzhu's aim was to get into their current university at the time and studied hard for it.

Since she wanted to go their, Lin Feng spent some of his time studying instead of playing games to ensure that both of them would enter the same university. After graduation, the two studied together and did the same exam. When they both found out that they passed, they hugged each other and kissed at the very venue attracting the eyes of the crowd.

His flashback ended as he suddenly came to a realisation. "Did my phone come with me? My bag? My laptop? My wallet?" he thought as he began looking around the spot he had come to when he had been transported.

Even though he looked around, all he could find was his wallet with a picture he had taken together with Mu Lingzhu at a photobooth on one of their dates. He stared at the picture for a long time and rubbed it with his thumb as he thought, "Ling er, I promise you that I will find a way to come back to Earth so that we can reunite!"

"Father, Mother, your son will find his way back! When I do, I will bring your daughter in law home with me!" he said as he thought of his parents who raised him. Lin Feng was born in a poor family, each day his father worked at a construction site and barely made enough for the three of them to live while also injuring his back, even though his father was only fifty this year, his head was full of white hair making him feel like crying.

As for his mother, to help his family survive while also paying for his university tuition fees, she worked in a factory and is yelled at each and everyday even when she did her job right. Her supervisor would take out their anger on her every time they were reprimanded by their own superior, both his father and himself have asked her to stop working there so that this wouldn't happen, however, mother Lin is stubborn and refused to listen to her husband and son.

"I wonder what happened back on Earth? Did I become a missing person or am I being treated as a person who had never existed in the first place?" he wondered.

"It seems I'm still wearing my clothes" Lin Feng thought as he put his wallet into his pocket. "So what do I do now? I'm by myself in an unknown world with no abilities to help me survive, how will I ever get back to Earth?" he thought.

Suddenly, a voice spoke to him in his mind.

"What the? A system? It seems like the heavens haven't forsaken me, they gave me a goldfinger after transporting me to an unknown world" Lin Feng thought as he replied, "System, what is the Happy Go Gacha System?"

"Awesome! Now that's something I'm familiar with!" he cried. "System let me see my stats" Lin Feng said within his mind.

A ribbon is tied to a few strands of his hair as his long hair gently danced along with the breeze. His clothes turned into a white and blue robe like those that are worn in Xianxia novels.

"Yes" he replied.

Suddenly, a card appeared in his hand with a portrait of an extremely beautiful women in blue. In the past, Lin Feng had read a novel so he knew exactly what to do when the card appeared in his hand. Crushing the card, it broke after a soft squeeze and turned into light as not far from him, a bright light appeared for a few seconds as the figure of a the same beautiful women that he saw in portrait form stood before him.

"Wow, she's really beautiful" he thought. Xia Yazhu appeared in front of him with her sword hidden, walking up to her, he said, "Uh, hello there"

An awkward silence took place for a few seconds, Xia Yazhu then replied, "You must be my master, however, I will call you by name, otherwise I will follow your every command"

"My every command? Does she even know what she's saying? If I wasn't a good person, I would order her to do this and that" Lin Feng thought. "If you command me so, I will even do those things" she said as if she could read his mind.

"No, no, no, stop. I'm not that kind of person" Lin Feng retorted.

"Xiao Ming, is it possible for me to learn all of Xia Yazhu's skills?" he asked the system.

"No, however, the host is able to choose one skill from his heroes. I recommend choosing the Ice God's Cultivation Manual, the host will be able to cultivate other techniques at the same time without causing any problems to the cultivation base" Xiao Ming replied.

"Nice! Then let's do just that, however, Xiao Ming I don't know what the stages of cultivation in this world are" he replied.

Seeing that Xiao Ming didn't reply to his question, he thought "The hell? Other people have a golden finger that tell them everything they need to know but mine won't even tell me something as basic as that?"

He had no choice but to ask Xia Yazhu hoping that he isn't bothering her. "Erm Xia Yazhu, can you tell me the cultivation stages in this world?" he asked her.

"Lin Feng, you may refer to me as just Yazhu if you'd like. This continent is known as the Tiandi Continent which is one of the many thousand realms of this world. The cultivation stages are Purification, Human Yuan, Earthly Yuan, Heavenly Yuan, Holy Fire, Holy Lightning, Nirvana, Life and Death and Immortal Ascension with each stage having the Early, Middle and Peak stages" Xia Yazhu replied to him.

"I see, so there are nine realms altogether," he thought.

"I will begin my cultivation, can you protect me?" he asked her. Xia Yazhu nodded as she stood by his side as he crossed his legs and sat in a lotus position and kept his hands together.

"Xiao Ming, begin cultivating the Ice God's Cultivation Manual!" Lin Feng shouted.
