Hearing his number being called, Lin Feng walked up the stage and passed his token to the examiner. Standing in front of the Potential Stone, Lin Feng took a deep breath before placing his hand above it.

From the Potential Stone, golden light flashed before the eyes of many in the crowd. "What?! Is that… That golden light could it be Gold level talent???!!!" the examiner lady shouted while the old man standing next to him fell on his b.u.t.t.

Suddenly, the bright and blinding golden light turned pitch black before turning pink, purple, blue, green, yellow, orange and then finally stopped changing at red and continued glowing red.

This was all witnessed by the eyes of the crowd, it was too bizarre for them to see this happen before them. It is unheard of for someone's potential to suddenly change colors and furthermore it started from the Gold level talent which is the highest possible even in the top three Upper Realms!!!

Up in the Upper Realms of the Great Thousand Worlds, the Gold level talent could be counted on one's fingers, even those with Pink level talent are considered to be peak geniuses!

"The hell was that? Is the Potential Stone malfunctioning?" someone in the crowd shouted. "Yea! What was that just now?!" someone else added.

"It's malfunctioning for sure! How can someone's potential suddenly change? I demand a redo!" one of the teenagers who had failed to pass shouted.

"Redo! Redo! Redo!" the crowd became rowdy as those who didn't pass the test joined in and protested. Even their parents behind them shouted with them in unison.

Bam!

A nearby boulder suddenly blew up out of nowhere. "Silence!" the middle-aged man who was next to Lin Feng shouted with a visible frown on his face.

The crowd suddenly quieted down as soon as they heard the boulder blow up. "I assure you that the Potential Stone cannot be wrong! If you still have doubts then so be it, there will be no redos!"

"Number two hundred and eighty seven pass with Red level talent!" the lady examiner shouted after fixing her hair from the commotion earlier.

Hearing this, Lin Feng nodded and took one of the tokens in the shape of a tiger head and jumped off the stage hiding among the crowd.

"Number two hundred and eighty eight!"

Ling Yating went up the stage and placed her hand on the Potential Stone. Instantly the stone lit with extremely pure light blue light signifying her Blue level talent. "Whoooa!!! It's Blue level talent!!!!" the crowd became rowdy once again as Ling Yating took a token and jumped off the stage before standing beside Lin Feng and Xia Yazhu.

In the crowd, the girl who had Green level talent showed a shocked look before gritting her teeth. "Silence!" the middle-aged man shouted again with a frown.

"I can tell that you are all excited, but so are we! There hasn't been anyone with Blue level talent in our kingdom for the past thousand years, in fact even those with Green level could be counted on one hand" the middle-aged man told the crowd as his brows unfurrowed themselves making him appear to be a kind man.

"Number two hundred and eighty eight passed with Blue level talent! Can the next person please come up on stage!" the lady examiner called.

Xia Yazhu heard her number and walked up the stage. Placing her hand on the Potential Stone, a pitch black color radiated from the Potential Stone before changing to blue lights.

"Another malfunction? First someone had Gold level change to Red level and now another person had Black level change to Blue level, what's going on here?" someone spoke for those who had the same thoughts but didn't say.

"Another Blue level talent? Who are those two women? Where did they come from?!" someone in the crowd shouted.

"Xiao Ming, did you interfere with this as well?" Lin Feng asked from below the stage as Xia Yazhu stood beside him.

[Replying to Host, that is correct. Since she is connected to the host via the system, any interference with the Host should be expected to be the same with heroes]

"I see, Xiao Ming, does that mean that I originally had Gold level talent?" he asked another question.

[Replying to Host, that is correct. Even without the system, the host will be able to progress smoothly on his own]

"I see, I thought I would've been one of those with trash talent when transmigrating" Lin Feng thought internally.

The girl who had Green level talent stood in the crowd and glared at Lin Feng's group of three with a look of envy as well as rage.

After Lin Feng's group of three, no one else had astonishing talent that would shake the entire kingdom. Of the remaining batches, only five or so had talent over the Red level with none reaching as high as the Yellow level.

The Flying Tiger Sect's test ended in the evening as everyone who had not been selected left filled with regret. Some even started yelling at their parents for giving birth to them without any talent.

As for those who passed, they stayed behind with the examiners. A total of five hundred people took the Flying Tiger Sect's test. Only a mere twenty or so managed to pass.

Standing above the stage, the two examiners got off the stage with the middle-aged man standing in front with his arms behind his back.

"Congratulations each of you on passing, once we have arrived at the Flying Tiger Sect, you will officially become new disciples" he said.

"Now, we will be taking you to the sect shortly if you do not have any questions"

One of the teenagers who passed raised his hand and asked, "How will we get there? The Flying Tiger Sect is over 1000 Li away"

The middle-aged man moved his right arm and pointed his index finger in the sky to answer the young man's answer.

The young man looked up at the sky along with the others with puzzled expressions.

Suddenly, they saw a tiny black dot in the sky that seemed to be heading their way.

Another black dot followed behind as they came closer and closer to them.

"Wha, what's that??!" he shouted.

After falling for a good twenty seconds from the sky, two tigers with razor sharp fangs and demon like horns on their head could be seen.

The two tigers landed on the ground creating spider web-like cracks as they got up on all fours.

The two tigers spread their wings as soon as they stood up from the ground. Their wings were pitch black just like the demonic horns on their heads.

The two tigers turned their backs around to face the crowd and bent their butts down on the floor.

"Heh, those tigers are four times the size of tigers on Earth" Lin Feng thought as he walked up to the closest tiger and jumped on its back.

Ling Yating and Xia Yazhu walked up and stood below him making him move backward and lose his front seat as Xia Yazhu sat in front while Ling Yating sat behind her.

As for Lin Feng he had no choice but to sit behind the latter so that others couldn't take advantage of her.

"Hahaha, looks like there are some bright ones along this batch. The previous batches were scared out of their pants" the middle-aged man laughed.

Hearing this, the others shortly followed and jumped on the tiger's backs as they slowly took flight.

The middle-aged man and his partner took flight shortly as the four figures began heading in one direction.

The journey didn't take more than six hours to arrive at their destination. The tigers were extremely fast flying much faster than a car on Earth.

When they arrived, the sun had already set but the entirety of the sect was bright as though it were still the evening.

Jumping off the backs of the tigers, Lin Feng began looking around the sect.

A large stone tablet could be seen on the right of the sect's ten meter tall gate. One could clearly make out the words 'Flying Tiger Sect'

Walking through the large gate that was surrounded by large trees on top of a large mountain, Lin Feng saw many large ancient style buildings along with a couple pagodas.

Many disciples walked around chatting while others took naps. Some even started flirting in public!

At the very centre just in front of him, a large stone sculpture of a young man and a tiger with horns and wings stood beside him.

The young man held a sword in hand in its sheath with both arms crossed as the man and tiger faced a single direction.

"Oh that's one handsome guy, almost as handsome as I am. He must be the founder of the Flying Tiger Sect" Lin Feng thought.

"Indeed that is our founder, Xiao Yao Rong who had founded the sect over a thousand years ago. Back in those days, our sect was famous even throughout the many Lower Realms"

"However, over time the disciples became weaker and weaker declining to the sect you see here today" the middle-aged man said with a sad expression next to Lin Feng.

"Damn, didn't even notice him" Lin Feng thought as he nodded.

Turning around, the others including the female examiner stood in a group waiting for the middle-aged man to speak.

As the middle-aged man spoke, Lin Feng quickly squeezed into the group beside Ling Yating and Xia Yazhu.

"It seems I have forgotten to introduce myself. I am Situ Li of the Flying Tiger Sect, currently I hold the position of Grand Elder within the sect" Situ Li said.

The nearby disciples noticed and greeted him, "Greetings Grand Elder" some of them said with their hands cupped.

"Welcome back Grand Elder" others said.

"Whoa, why is someone as important as the Grand Elder who is second only to the Sect Leader personally at the recruitment selection?" one of the teenagers couldn't help but say.

"Hmm that explains his earlier expression, could it be that he is actually an old man in actual age?" Lin Feng thought.

"Hahahah, its alright go do your own thing" Situ Li replied to the disciples as they greeted him.

Turning around and facing the group he said, "Well now that we are here, I will let Elder Jing guide you. As for Lin Feng, Ling Yating, Xia Yazhu and Gong Wenting, I will come to get you four later" as he turned into a flash of golden light and disappeared from his previous spot.

The female examiner finally spoke after a while, "Let me introduce myself, I am Elder Jing in charge of handling all matters related to female disciples"

"As the Grand Elder has said, I will be showing you all around the sect today with your headquarters being the final locations" Elder Jing said.

"Follow me"

The group of twenty followed behind as Elder Jing lead them to the Medicine Hall, the Spiritual Arts Hall, the Martial Tower, Armoury Hall, Alchemy Hall, Mission Hall, Dining Hall and then finally the male and female quarters.

Standing in front of the female quarters for new disciples, Elder Jing passed tokens to all the female disciples and said, "These tokens are for your rooms, be sure not to lose them else you won't be able to enter your room. Even if someone else were to use your token, it will not work and only you and we elders can enter your room"

Ling Yating, Xia Yazhu and the other three females headed inside the female quarters while Elder Jing lead the rest of the group to the male quarters not far away.

She passed them all a token and didn't explain further since she had just done it a few minutes ago before instructing them to head to the Dining Hall in the next hour and left.

The male quarters looked identical to the female quarters.

An ancient style building with tiger statues stood erect on both sides of the door while the door knobs were the shape of tiger heads.

Opening the door, Lin Feng walked inside to see a large cherry blossom tree with a stone table and seats beside it.

Just a couple steps away is a small pond with fish swimming inside as Lin Feng gripped the token and looked for his room.

After walking for a few minutes, he found his room which is at the end of the left side hall.

Standing in front of the door, he touched the door as it opened on its own due to a mysterious force.

A creaking sound that comes from moving wooden doors could be heard as he entered the room which had a large bed and wardrobe on one side with a table and chair nearby and opposite is a plain room with nothing beside the wooden floor.

"Hmm, everything I need is here. There seems to be a bit of space for me to practice but it would be better if i did so outside" he thought as he jumped on the bed after closing his door.

Lying on his bed, Lin Feng was about to practice before hearing a knocking sound on his door.

Opening his door, he saw a young man with above average looks and tied up hair in an unnatural color. His hair was deep crimson red as well as his eyebrows which meant that he was born with such hair, seeing that Lin Feng stared at him, the young man spoke, "Hehe, you must be wondering about my hair. Apparently I was born with red hair, well anyway I am Qin Sun" he introduced himself.

"Lin Feng" Lin Feng replied.

"Hehe, I came here to make a friend. When you took the test, it literally scared the sh*t out of me, it took a lot to keep it inside!" Qin Sun laughed.

"Err I didn't need to know that. Besides I got Red level talent in the end" Lin Feng replied.

"Hehe, I doubt it was really a mistake since it happened not once but twice, tell me what did you do to hide your true talent? I do understand that having Gold level talent is less than one in a billion. Could it be because you don't want to join a sect in the Upper Realms?" Qin Sun suddenly asked with a serious expression.

"Who knows, well I certainly could do with a friend, Having an oddball as a friend would make my life more interesting" Lin Feng replied.

"Hey, you're the oddball! Anyway tell me how you managed to woo those two beauties with the veils. You can't fool me, my eyes can see through clothes and even bones and internal organs if I wanted to. A veil is nothing for me" Qin Sun asked.

"Heh you're truly an oddball, could it be that you're not a human or at least a half breed? But well if you ask me that I can't really say. Could it be because I'm handsome?" Lin Feng laughed.

"Hey, I'm being serious here"

"So am I" Lin Feng laughed.
