The Heathen

After the old man finished his statement, Aos returned to her training. Aos now having cast her first druidic spell was although disappointed by the power, beyond ecstatic. She now could influence the very nature around her. In her boundless joy, Aos after thanking the old man, quickly returned to meditation.

Aos instilled with a newfound d.e.s.i.r.e to improve quickly immersed herself in meditation.

She soon found herself in a state of near-perfect meditation. It seemed as if the surrounding environment calmed. The trees, the grass, and the air itself began to slow and Aos delved deeper and deeper into meditation.

Before Aos had noticed, something had forced her out of her meditation. She found herself in the eerie darkness. Aos panicked by the sudden change quickly brought rose from her meditative position and braced herself for whatever may come.

Due to Aos' past harrowing experiences in the darkness couldn't help but bracing as if her life depended on it. She suddenly heard a voice say a single word, "Meditate". The voice was distinctly different from any she had heard before. Unlike before this voice had an unexplainable authority. Aos unable to resist quickly began meditation in the darkness.

Aos felt as a far more pure energy began to enter into her body. It quickly found its way to the well of nature energy. The energy flowed as such a fast pace and quantity that it overwhelmed the capacity of the well. Forcing the well to expand and the energy already inside the well to condense.

Aos could feel as the nature energy that had previously glown throughout her body receeded into the well.

The pure energy continued to endlessly flow eventually it itself condensing. In a process that felt longer than eternity the energy condensed a dozen times. The well of nature energy, now being forced to house the foreign pure energy expanding itself every time.

After the 12th condensing of the pure energy, the available energy around Aos began to subside. Slowly growing less and less plentiful until it eventually stopped flowing into Aos, causing her to emerge from her meditation.

Aos rose from her meditation. She could feel the huge difference inside the well of nature. Before she could properly focus on the difference she felt excruciating pain as the pure energy inside of her began to fight against the nature energy. The pain overwhelmed her forcing Aos to her knees. The pain rather quickly subsiding as the far stronger pure energy overwhelmed the weaker nature energy.

Once the energy began to settle into the now completely occupied well of energy. Aos felt as something began to force her to lose consciousness. The currently standing Aos fell to the ground with a loud *thud*

The pure energy inside of Aos began to emerge from the well and enveloped Aos' entire body. The energy began to ravage every single aspect of Aos. Every cell within Aos' body quickly began to change under the influence of the pure energy.

The unconscious Aos unable to realize the changes occurring would soon come to notice and appreciate the effects.

A figure shrouded in a similar pure energy approached the unconscious Aos and quietly whispered, "This is my blessing to you, first of the new shamans."
