The Heavenly Crystal

"Boss Duncan! A huge herd of beasts are moving towards our camp!" shouted one of his men.

"F.u.c.k! What f.u.c.k.i.n.g good timing when I was about to enjoy myself! This shitty beasts!" Duncan said fiercely as he grabbed his Gold level weapon.

"Rodney, go and inform brother Tiger and the two other vice leaders! The rest of you follow me to outside to defend the camp!" he shouted a series of commands towards his shaking men.

He lead his men outside to hold off the charging beasts. 'Although this Duncan guy is a l.u.s.tful man, he sure is brave enough to face that amount of beasts.' Mark who lured the huge herd of beasts thought as he hastily moved towards the scared women's direction.

The women saw him approaching them and thought he was one of brother Tiger's men.

"Quiet, I'm here to save you all don't worry. Just follow behind me and move as fast as you can, okay?" Mark said towards the scared women. They all nodded their heads with renewed hope. They thought that they will continue living as playthings for brother Tiger's men, but Mark's appearance gave them light. They all stood up and waited for his command.

"Let's go, follow me!" Mark led them towards the hole he made earlier. He went outside first to make sure that it was safe before they go out. The women hastily moved out of the subdivision from the hole made by Mark, and because of the huge commmotion, the guards were not able to see their escape as they were focused on holding the beasts off before reinforcements arrive.

Mark created a path of blood for the women to safely escape to. He killed the beasts and undeads that blocked their path with his twin swords. His moves were graceful as he slashed the monsters with his swords. Blood and body parts flew at every slash of his swords.

He was able to bring them towards a relatively safe place and they took a rest there. More than ten pairs of eyes looked at him with thankful and admiring gazes. Even the stoic Mark blushed at the gazes of the n.a.k.e.d women. He bought them clothes in the store and let them wear it to calm himself down.

"Thank you for saving us." said the sixteen year old girl while holding back her tears. The rest of the women also thanked him with some even crying tears of joy.

"We're not safe yet. Those beasts will arrive here soon, so we need go back to our base fast." he said while studying the dark road. He felt several presence of nearby beasts and undeads, but they were to weak to pose a threat to him. But with several women in tow, they need to move faster before a stronger beast or undead will find their location.

"Follow me and persevere, and we will eventually arrive to our camp." He encouraged the women who looked at surroundings warily. He ran at a speed which was enough for the women to catch up to him. He looked towards a certain direction and sensed a strong presence moving towards their direction. Instead of detouring, he moved towards the direction of the strong presence and smiled in relief as he saw Roan's silhouette speeding towards them.

"You're late." he said while forcing a smile.

Roan shrugged his shoulder and looked at the women behind Mark. "Let's talk later. Good job!" Roan said as he patted Mark's back. They ran back to their camp, and with Roan escorting them home, they were able to arrive safely.

"Open the gate!" Roan's shout woke Terrius up who was guarding the gate. He hastily opened the gate and was relieved to find out that they're safe.

"Good heavens! What took you so long Mark?" asked Terrius worriedly.

Mark smiled weakly towards him as he said "I saved these pitiful women from that Tiger's camp." Terrius looked at the women who were still a little bit scared and worried. They stared at Terrius fearfully, afraid that this man was the same kind of man as brother Tiger and his people. Mark assured the restless ladies with a smile and said " Don't worry, this big guy here is as harmless as a rabbit." The ladies felt much better after he said that and they all sighed in relief.

"Mark, let them stay in the living room for now. Tomorrow, we will divide the rooms again and if possible we will make temporary housing outside the mansion to accommodate more new comers. Mark nodded his head ib response and beckoned towards the ladies to follow him.

He brought them inside the mansion and told them when they arrivee at the living room "You will stay here temporarily. You don't have to worry about food and everything here as it will be covered by us since all of you are now our people." He then bought several beds for the ladies to have somewhere to sleep and also bought food just enough for them.

"After you eat, you may take a rest. Remember just follow Roan's orders okay?" he added. The ladies nodded their heads thankfully as they held back their tears while munching on the food that Mark bought for them. He smiled towards them and headed outside the mansion to tell Roan everything he saw about the subdivision.

Roan and Terrius saw a handsome silhouette moving towads their direction with steady steps. He arrived in front of them and nodded his head as a form of greeting. Roan and Terrius nodded their heads in response and Roan was the first one to speak "How was it?" he asked while looking beyond walls. Mark knew that the question was meant for him and answered with knitted eyebrows "Terrible. The women I brought here were from their camp. And based on the information I heard from those guys, there should be more of these women that are being held as captives and they are treated as playthings by those men." Mark's voice had a hint of anger as he said the last line. Roan thought that he might have experienced the same on his previous missions.

"How strong were they?"

"Tiger's men were just as strong as the ones we killed earlier. But I saw one guy who has a Gold level weapon and he might be almost as strong as Terrius." Mark answered as he recounted to them the scenes where he saw Duncan charging towards the beasts with his giant axe.

Roan was thoughtful and asked "Were you discovered?" Mark shaked his head in response and said "No, I lured a nearby beast horde towards their camp to divert their attention."

Roan was silent for a moment before he said "Currently, we lacked manpower and strength to save the people inside that subdivision. So tomorrow, help the others in boosting their levels." Mark and Terrius nodded their heads in response.
