The Herb King

314 Albert’s Timely Arrival

Irithel couldn't believe that there was actually a strong Underworlder expert in this army. Although she was stronger than the other party, there were three more Level 5 warriors fighting against her and there were even Level 4 warriors attacking her from time to time. Just one careless mistake and she might even die here!

Irithel was holding the Divine-Rated bow in her hands, firing energy arrows at her enemies. Very soon, her world essence would be depleted and she will be at their mercy.

Suddenly, she noticed Callon trying to break through the encirclement. "Stand back! You won't be of any help here! You will only hinder me!" She shouted coldly.

Callon frowned when he heard this. He wanted to help her mother, but he knew that she was speaking the truth. She was fighting against four Level 5 warriors. He won't be of any help against such strong enemies.

"Callon, snap out of it! Go back to the formation!" A Shadow Guard grabbed him and pulled him back to their formation.

At this moment, another Shadow Guard died in battle. A Level 4 Underworlder sneak behind him and crushed his head! The creature then opened its mouth and devoured the body of the Shadow Guard!

The remaining Shadow Guards were helpless when they saw this. They were surrounded on all sides and even the Barbarian warriors could only retreat.

"I'll help you!" Amishta jumped towards where Irithel was and struck her spear at the early stage Level 5 Underworlder.

Bang!

Her spear was blocked by the shield of the mid stage Level 5 Underworlder and she was also sent flying by the rebound force!

Amishta somersaulted in midair and landed beside Irithel. "Are you alright?" She asked the elf.

"I'm fine. How are the others holding up?" Irithel felt the burden lessening with Amishta helping her.

Amishta shook her head and muttered. "They could barely hold back the Underworlder army, but it won't be long until they would collapse. When are the reinforcements coming?"

"I don't know, but they should be here soon! Let's buy some time until they come here!"

"Alright!"

The two girls fought against the four experts of the Underworlders.

Almost half of the ten thousand Barbarian warriors have fallen. As for the elite elven warriors, they also have major casualties. There was even one Gryphon that was shot down from the sky!

"Miss Irithel, I'm here!" A valiant roar echoed above the sky.

Everyone raised their heads and saw a middle-aged man riding a Winged Golden Unicorn. He slashed out his sword, releasing hundreds of sword lights that killed many Underworlders!

"Albert, you're finally here!" Irithel was relieved when she saw this guy. "Quick! Help us kill these beasts!" She shouted.

"Yes, Miss Irithel!" Albert grabbed the reins of his mount. The Winged Golden Unicorn neighed and kicked the enemies around them. It then flew toward the direction of Irithel while releasing light beams from its horn.

"Where are the others? How many soldiers did you bring?" Irithel asked.

"They will be here soon! I brought five thousand elite soldiers with me. They might be weaker than Sir Ramiel's elite soldiers, but they are strong enough to annihilate these Underworlder army!" He muttered confidently. He was the one who personally trained his troops and he was aware of their power. The Lassiter Household even invested a lot of money to equip them with high level weapons and superior flying mounts.

Irithel was overjoyed when she heard this. She had seen Albert's elite soldiers and they were indeed a force to be reckoned with. With five thousand fierce experts, they would be able to overturn this battle! "Great!"

In the stadium of West Ocean City, the second battle had already started. The crowd erupted into cheers when the participants were called. It was because one of the crowd's favorites was on the stage, Altina Azure.

Altina Azure's opponent was also strong, but he was quickly overwhelmed by the major difference in their level. He was soon kicked out of the stage.

"Altina Azure wins!"

"The battle ended in just less than a minute. She is really strong." General Trevor muttered in admiration.

"If nothing goes wrong, this girl would soon enter the Heavenly Might Rankings once she breaks through to the next level. I believe she would be ranked in the top 30 right away." Eliazar added.

"Is there something wrong, Sir Aethelwolf?" They noticed that Aethelwolf was strangely silent the entire time.

Aethelwolf shook his head and forced out a smile. "It's nothing. I'm just thinking about something else." When he received the call from Irithel earlier, he couldn't stop himself from being worried. Irithel might be someone in the top 10 of the Heavenly Might Rankings, but the Underworlders were ferocious creatures. He was worried that Albert might not arrive on time to help her. He wanted to give them a call, but they might be in the midst of battle at the moment.

"Janrose Lassiter and Milan Fero, please come up on the stage!" Omar called out the next participants.

When Janrose's name was called, the audience shouted excitedly. The Sword Intent she displayed was still fresh in their minds. They wanted to see how far this young expert could go.

Aethelwolf took a deep breath and a mysterious energy swiftly calmed his heart. 'I hope everything will be fine.' He muttered in his heart.

At this moment, Janrose had already taken out her sword. She didn't take out her Divine-Rated sword this time since it was too powerful. She wanted to save her energy until the final match.

Her opponent, Milan Fero sighed when he saw the Unique-Rated sword in Janrose's hand. She was clearly underestimating him, but he knew that he didn't have the power to compete against her Sword Intent. "Please be lenient, Miss Janrose." He muttered politely as he grabbed his weapon.

Janrose smiled when she heard this.

"Are you both ready?" Omar asked the two.

"Yes!" Janrose and Milan answered in unison.

"Begin!"
