The Hunter Academy

Chapter 10 - Chaos (2)

"As long as your rival doesn't beat you by two levels, you'll be able to finish them off with ease."

"Incredible" Arthur whispered unconsciously.

"But you're forbidden to reveal your Chaos attribute in the future."

"Ehh, why?" Arthur asked confusedly.

"You're only allowed to use it in a life or death situation," Chaos warned Arthur. "You can only use it again when you reach level 6."

"If you reveal it sooner, even I may not be able to save you."

Arthur felt that the situation was serious, if his father could not guarantee his safety he meant that the enemy was incredibly powerful.

They both picked up their belongings and left the training room. Arthur tried to converse with his father along the way.

"Father"

"Yes?" Chaos smiled at his son.

"Who are you?" asked a confused Arthur, his father was very mysterious.

Chaos stopped and looked at his son, Arthur became nervous when he saw his father's serious attitude.

"I am the shadow that protects the last hope of humanity, I am the Chaos that protects humanity from the catastrophe caused by the Order".

"Would it not be light, being the attribute of good, that protects humanity?" asked Arthur confusedly.

Chaos smiled.

"No, neither light represents good nor darkness represents evil."

"What do they represent then?"

"Both light, darkness and the rest of attributes are the result of the confrontation between Chaos and Order. They do not represent anything special, the light simply has a greater amount of "Order" while the darkness has a greater amount of "Chaos". It is the fact of how we use that energy that says what they represent. "

---- Back to the present day ----

"They represent nothing, it only matters how you use your attribute" Arthur answered Aurora's question.

The rest of the student council nodded with understanding. Arthur's words made sense.

"It's really a shame that the president can't use an attribute to improve his personal skills," Smith sighed.

Arthur smiled inside (If you knew that my attribute makes me fight enemies two levels above me, then you wouldn't say that), but on the outside he kept his face serious.

"My king attribute, Ruler, is much better than any normal attribute."

"It's true, I really envy you for that." Allen agreed with his future king.

Jeanne gave Arthur a deep look, from the moment she met him she felt something was wrong with him. She believed that Arthur was hiding something.

Arthur stopped suddenly, he looked into a corner behind them and smiled at the sight of a familiar figure.

"You will have to go to the council room without me, I have business to attend to" Arthur politely said goodbye to his companions and walked towards the figure leaning against the wall.

Jeanne recognized the person leaning against the wall, he was one of the freshmen who had managed to resist her aura without problems. She was surprised to see that he was apparently an acquaintance of Arthur.

Arthur approached the boy leaning against the wall. The boy looked at Arthur and smiled cheerfully.

"Brat, you've grown!" Setanta gave Arthur a bear hug. If anyone saw the scene they would have been surprised to hear the crackling of Arthur's bones, fortunately the council member were already gone.

"Uncle Setanta, you're crushing me" Arthur spoke with difficulty.

Setanta quickly released Arthur, he slapped him on the shoulder while laughing shamefully. Arthur had to fight not to fall to his knees after that "light" blow.

"How have you been in these four years?" Setanta asked Arthur.

"Pretty good, although it's a little frustrating to have to hide most of my strength."

"Haha, who was going to say that the next king of England was going to be a spoiled child who complains about something so trivial" Setanta mocked Arthur.

Arthur blushed when he heard his uncle's teasing, he had always teased Arthur since they had known each other.

"You also have to hide your power now," Arthur muttered underneath.

"Tch, it was all that idiot idea," Setanta snorted, "If it was up to me, we'd be beatin' those bastards from the council of elders right now."

Arthur sighed when he heard Setanta's complaints. This wrestling madman had nothing in his head but women or fighting.

"Where is -"

Setanta put a finger in Arthur's mouth.

"It is not yet time to meet with him." Disappointment passed through Arthur's eyes. "Besides, from now on you have to call him Sahazel"

Arthur nodded unconsciously, he was still disappointed to learn he couldn't see Sahazel. That did not escape Setanta's keen eyes.

"Don't worry" He c.a.r.e.s.sed Arthur's head. "He didn't say it in words, but that proud look he had when he saw you give the speech wasn't false."

A slight smile appeared on Arthur's face.

"When can I see him?" Arthur asked hopefully.

"Don't be impatient boy, think first about overcoming that barrier to reach level 6" said Setanta seriously.

Arthur nodded with a serious face.

"Well, it's time for you to go with your buddies," Setanta fired Arthur.

Arthur gave Setanta a hug and went to the student council hall.

"If you're a monster, then the brat is a little monster," Setanta said to the air. "I can already feel the Chaos attribute surrounding his body."

"That's a problem, if those old men from the council of elders realize something, it would be dangerous for Arthur."

A whirlpool of dark aura appeared beside Setanta and Sahazel appeared. Sahazel looked at Arthur's back and smiled warmly.

"Is there a problem with us here?" Setanta asked.

"We can' t be his nannies for life" Sahazel thought of something and formed some strange hand seals. An invisible barrier surrounded Arthur without him noticing.

"That should be enough for the next 3 months, I hope it reaches level 6 before that," Sahazel sighed.

"You really care about him," Setanta smiled as he watched his friend's actions.

Sahazel did not respond to Setanta.

"Let's go back"

A dark breeze passed and they both disappeared from the place.

Class D had just arrived in their class when they both rejoined the student group. No one noticed two students missing all the way from the auditorium to the class.

The desks inside the class were divided into pairs. Setanta and Sahazel went to sit in one of the corners of the classroom.

"We've chosen those chairs before!" Ryan's arrogant voice was heard from behind the two boys.

"I don't care" Sahazel shrugged and sat at the table by the window.

"Scram!" Setanta was ruder and threw them out as he sat at the table next to Sahazel's table.

Ryan gritted his teeth, but decided to let it go as he did not want to receive a worse punishment from Devil Beauty.

Ryan searched and realized that there were only two places left in front of the teacher's table. He looked at the rest of the students with a menacing face, he was going to throw a couple of girls out of their seats when he heard the teacher's voice.

"Ryan and Austin, hurry up and sit in the free places" Atalanta spoke to them impatiently.

(Why are these two always the troublemakers?) She had already marked the Young Master and his poor servant as troublemakers.

Ryan sat down while he bit his lip hard, Austin accompanied him without saying anything as he was afraid to be the scapegoat for his teacher's anger.

Atalanta nodded as she saw everyone sitting in their respective seats. She proceeded to pass assistance.

"Ryan Desult"

"Present"

"Setanta Lugh"

"Present"

...

"Sahazel Fallen"

"Present"

"Fleur Froid.

"Present"

Atalanta named the last two on the list and kept the paper with the names.

"Well, this afternoon we will have the first practical class. In it we will try to get to know each other better among the classmates".
