The Hunter Academy

Chapter 30 - It was my first time!

The two Japanese brothers looked at each other, both were obviously uncomfortable at the moment.

"Do you think they know each other?" The boy asked his sister in a whisper.

"It's obvious, because you don't know things like that, that's why you don't have a girlfriend yet" the girl replied.

The teacher had arrived five minutes earlier. She had entered in an energetic way, perhaps too much energetic.

"Hello everyone!"

A tall beauty, black hair gathered in a ponytail tied in a blue ribbon and black eyes. Take was impressed with those pure black eyes, those eyes showed pure naivety and were so attractive at the same time.

Take and Mika, the two siblings, got up quickly and made a 30-degree tilt toward the teacher.

The teacher looked at them, obviously surprised at the gesture made by the two brothers. She seemed to notice something and smiled.

"You don't have to follow the customs of your country here, raise your head."

"We're not being forced to do it, it's just a sign of respect for someone with abilities superior to us," Take explained to the teacher.

"My brother is right, just feeling the sword aura around you makes us tremble and our skin bristles" Mika followed her brother's explanation.

The teacher smiled as she listened to the two Japanese brothers. She didn't expect freshmen to feel her sword aura.

"Even though I only have two students, they are two good seeds" The teacher seemed to think very highly of them.

The two brothers regained their position. They looked at each other confusingly and then they looked at the teacher.

"Teacher, we are three students," Take told her.

"Huh?" The teacher was surprised and looked around the aura.

Her gaze rested on a point at the bottom of the class, next to a column. There seemed to be a supportive person there. The two brothers looked at where the teacher was looking and were also surprised.

(How did he get there so quickly?)

"Hey, come here." The teacher called the boy.

The boy got up and advanced to the side of the two brothers. He had his head down for some reason.

" All right, let's introduce ourselves." The teacher applauded.

"You start." The teacher pointed at the Japanese boy.

The boy stepped forward.

"My name is Take Zuchi and I come from the Thunder Sanctuary, Japan.

Please take good care of me." Take leaned over and stepped back again.

"Perfect" The teacher applauded animatedly.

"Now you" The teacher pointed at the girl.

The girl then stepped forward.

"My name is Mika Zuchi and I come from the Thunder Sanctuary, Japan.

Please take good care of me" Mika repeated her brother's actions and bowed to the rest before retiring.

"Are you siblings?" The teacher asked the two Japanese.

"Yes, we are twins," Take admitted.

"Tch, who would want to be your sister?" Mika muttered in a voice that only she could hear, or so she thought.

"I thought you looked like a lot." The teacher nodded.

(They are twins, normal to look like) Sahazel thought in his mind.

"Now it's your turn to introduce yourself." The teacher pointed to the last one left.

"My name is Sahazel Fallen, I am not an important person and I do not come from an important place.

Please don't bother me too much" Sahazel introduced himself in a hoarse voice without raising his head.

"Oh, what an original presentation" The teacher applauded again.

"By the way, you look a lot like someone I know," the teacher told Sahazel.

"Is that so? There are many people in the world who look alike," Sahazel replied with the same hoarse voice, while still raising his head.

"Can you lift your head? I would like to confirm something" the teacher insisted.

"I don't think it's necessary," Sahazel refused.

"Come on, you're not going to die to pick it up." The teacher encouraged him to lift it.

(I won't die, but it will be worse than that)

"Hey, raise your head. I want to see your face too" Mika joined the teacher.

"Mika, you shouldn't force people to do something against their will" Take scolded his sister.

"Hmph, that's why you don't get a girlfriend" Mika complained, Take blushed at her sister's words.

Sahazel sighed, it was impossible to hide his appearance forever. He lifted his head with difficulty, showing his face to others.

"What a normal face" Mika sighed disappointed.

"It's you!" The teacher pointed to Sahazel.

"I don't know what you're talking about," Sahazel replied with a confused face.

"Eh?" Now it was the teacher's turn to show a confused face.

"Don't you remember, last night when we were alone exchanging movements and then when we finished you left without telling me your name. You must take responsibility!" The teacher tried to explain to Sahazel.

The atmosphere in the room was getting uncomfortable.

"Even if so, why should I take responsibility?" Sahazel asked him, now he was genuinely confused.

"Because, because" The teacher played with her fingers.

(Why?) Everyone asked her in their minds.

"Because it was my first time!" The teacher shouted and hid her face between her palms because of the shame.

The atmosphere of the room finally became uncomfortable. The two brothers looked at each other, neither of them knew what to say in this situation.

Sahazel's eyebrows twitched. His veins protruded from his forehead, he was obviously annoyed.

"You should be careful with the words you say, I have already told you that I don´t know you" Sahazel repeated.

"But..."

"In addition, how could a first-year student escape the hands of a teacher?" Sahazel asked an obvious question.

The teacher fell silent, she couldn't say she was so stunned because she lost for the first time, could she?

"There's only one way to prove it."

The teacher took two wooden swords and threw one at Sahazel, just as she had done before.

Sahazel tried to grab the sword but it slipped out of his hands. He crouched to pick it up from the ground.

"I'm sorry, I'm not used to swords" Sahazel scratched the back of his head.

The teacher frowned for the first time. She remembered that Sahazel had dodged the sword safely the last time.

(Is he telling the truth? Impossible, he is exactly the same as last night's boy)

"On guard."

Sahazel took a clumsy position, he did not seem to be skillful with the sword.

"There are many flaws in his posture," Take commented.

"He is bad, it seems he has not taken a sword in his life" Mika was more direct.

The teacher thought differently.

(I won't let you fool me again)

She still remembered how easily he rejected her attacks, attacks that no one had been able to reject until then.

"What's your level?" she asked Sahazel.

"Peak level 1" Sahazel replied.

It was normal for someone not to know the other person's level, no matter how many levels separate them. Only people with special attributes could see through someone who was hiding their level.

"Level 1?" Mika muttered in surprise.

"So our new partner is from class D." Take showed a thoughtful expression.

The teacher nodded and adjusted her level to match that of Sahazel.

"Are you ready?"

"Yes" Sahazel nodded blankly.

The teacher ran towards him, when she was 5 meters away she disappeared.

Thud!

A body fell backwards. The teacher's attack hit the handle of Sahazel's wooden sword and Sahazel fell to the ground.

The teacher frowned, she did not look away from Sahazel at any time.

"How strange"

Sahazel rose with difficulty, his wooden blade completely shattered while the teacher's blade was intact.

The teacher approached Sahazel and placed the sword in his throat. Sahazel only looked at her, his face devoid of emotion.

"Have you finished humiliating your student?" Asked Sahazel, his cold tone even made Take and Mika tremble as they were watching from the side.

The teacher's face turned pale, this was not the result she expected. He was obviously the same as the man who had defeated her, but it was obvious that Sahazel was not the person she was looking for. She had the proof within herself.

"You have emotions" She said those words with difficulty, she doubted her own words and her own feelings.

"Is there any human who doesn´t have them?" Sahazel's cold voice made the teacher's face even paler.

She could feel it, those feelings were too strong and had nothing to do with the emptiness she received last night. Rage, hatred and humiliation were the feelings she was receiving from Sahazel.

A tear fell through the teacher's eye, this was her first class and yet... Why had everything gone so wrong?
