The Infinite Item Box IS The Best Thing Someone Can Have On An Adventure

A bright light shined through the [Dungeon Boss Door], everyone needing to close their eyes due to the brightness. After the light dimmed, the room was black, before being lit up slowly. White flames appeared throughout the room, showing torches engraved into the wall, as well as five chandeliers hanging from the ceiling.

Going deeper into the room, it was totally unlike the [Kethral Dungeon]. There were no gold heaps, there were no scrolls. It was just a plain room, made out of marble. It was unlike what was seen, as everything was made out of the same material.

The torches were marble, the walls were marble, even the symmetrical pillars were marble, all either white, black or red. Everyone was amazed, but still on guard, waiting for the [Boss] to show up.

The expeditions kept walking deeper into the room, with everyone getting closer to each other. People began to go further back into the expedition, again leaving very few people upfront. There were around ten groups overall, each with about four to five members at the front, one of which was the [Heroes Party].

After a while, the end of the room was beginning to become clearer and clearer, some of the people began to run towards the end and saw something even weirder was there. A massive throne was at the end.

It was just a simple idea, a throne massive, people had to look up just to see the top. Unlike the rest of the room, it was made with some sort of grey metallic material, in which Atogin didn't know. Between the metal, it was outlined with a black substance in which Harrian saw what it was.

[Black Mythril], a substance very similar to [Chaos Column], but much weaker as it didn't grow stronger with the user. Harrian took [Chaos Column] from his back and began to wave it at the throne, hoping for a response, which there was none.

But after the sytche touched the throne, something weird happened. The black of the throne began to burn brightly with light, making the entire throne change. Bit by bit is disassembled itself, shards of the throne were floating around everywhere.

Everyone was surprised, but what happened next was even weirder. The shards began to go around to people and prick their hand before going back into a storm of floating silver and black shards.

After everyone was pricked, clapping was heard throughout the room. Before long, a voice was heard simultaneously in everyone's thought, it was just a cough that set off a reaction of shudders, before the voice began to speak.

The voice was playful, as though a cat was toying with its prey. There was no hostility, but the voice was male, sounding almost like a five-year-old, although it spoke like an a.d.u.l.t.

"Well done everyone, you completed my [Monster Dungeon], it seems that this era's adventurers aren't as weak as I thought. All together you suffered… zero casualties, well now, let me tell you, that is very hard to pull off, but now that number will change, enjoy the test before the [Final Boss]!" The voice then chuckled, before no one could hear his voice before.

Many people were freaking out now, about the test, how playful it sounded, or how the number will change. Everyone didn't want to die, but some were less afraid of others. Harrian had already experienced a death-like state twice before.

Once when he gained [Black Magic], meeting up with the creator and the fight with Aelor, with his entire body burnt to a crisp. The group was less shocked than the rest of the group, instead, they decided to come up with a plan.

"A [Monster] that can speak fluently in our language, man this… I don't even know how many days we've been here, Harrian do you have a watch?" Atogin asked.

"Wait a moment," Harrian put his hand inside his top hat and pulled out a small watch, before checking the time and putting it back "It's half past three, so we've been here for about a day and a half,"

"But what will we do?"

"Plan A, we already discussed it, and it seems as though it will probably be a large opponent,"

"But would it work, I'm thinking a [Golem] will be created out of those shards, making it a massive opponent,"

"Let's just see how this goes through," Enar said with a calming tone "Please." She began to massage the place between her eyes.

After long, everyone calmed down and waited for a response with the eerie voice. The voice chuckled and clicked his fingers.

"Now I give you, a [Boss]!" The voice stated, a click was heard before ti disappeared from everyone's minds.

The floating black and silver shards then decided to make themselves into a circle, before very quickly spinning around. After a short while, the white's and blacks began to become visible, with four white and one massive black being in the middle. After they stopped spinning, the objects reached down, showing their true form. Four suits of armour, and one massive white golem.

The golem was four times the size of Nicko, it's body bulky and thick. Its c.h.e.s.t was just a massive oval, with two arms, a head, and another stone which led to its legs. The golem was polished, its head was circular and levitating from its body, its hands had three fingers, which came from an oval piece, again levitating, levitating around another oval, making an arm, it was the same for its feet.

The four blackguards were even more terrifying. Their armour was completely symmetrical, all made with the [Black Mythril], they each had four fingers on each hand, missing their ring finger. There was a massive gap where their eyes would be, and soon after, sounds came from them.

"[Conditions Achieved]"

"[Starting [Black Guardians]]" The gap then glowed red with a massive light, lifting their heads.

"[Staying Dormont: [Golem]]"

"[Detecting 200 hostiles]"

"[Mission: Eliminate Hostiles]" A sound similar to a sound a computer would make when it started up came from the armour before they looked at expedition.

Very quickly, Harrian used [Scan Analyze] on both of the different beings standing before the expedition, only to see that they had no resistance at all, showing him their power.

[Guardians of [Marsius Monster Dungeon]]

[Material: [Black Mythril] enchanted with [Rock affinity spells]]

[Operation: Eliminate all hostiles within room]

An echo, sounding like a thunderclap then happened from the other side of the room, people began to panic. Harrian was already scared after seeing the [Guardians Stats], but he was trembling when he viewed the [Golems].

[Levitation White Marble Golem]

[Level: 100]

[Material: White Marble enchanted with [Levitate]

[[Strength] and [Stamina] way above average]

[Operation: Eliminate hostiles if all [Guardians of [Marsius Monster Dungeon]] are defeated]

"H-hey Enar, what is your [Level] again?" Harrian stuttered.

"I think I'm [Level 45], why?" she responded with a worried tone.

"B-because, the black suits of armour are [Level 80], whilst the [Golem] is [Level 100]."

The [Guardians] red eyes glowed red and they began to rush towards the expedition. Two of them stayed behind leaving two [Guardians] gaining speed towards them. Nicko and Atogin made contact, both of them punching with their right hand.

Nicko's right arm turned into a black substance as well as Atogins. Copying each other, they took their other arm and pulled off their arm before slapping them into the left wall with it. Nicko began to tear off massive chunks on the arm whilst Atogin used [Transmute] changing the arms shape to two cutlass swords.

The [Guardians] quickly recovered, their eyes going from side to side before another robotic voice emitted from them.

"[Loss of limb]"

"[Original destroyed]"

"[Replica not found]"

"[Fighting capacity reduced by 15%]

"[Solution: Eliminate Targets]"

Nicko finished eating the arm and looked at them, pulling his arm towards his head. Atogin was sharpening his new blades, doing a long whistle looking at them, before going on guard as well. At the same time, they both said the same words.

"Try to eliminate us, believe it!"

The [Guardians] then ran towards them again, seeing to be even faster, but they weren't a problem for both of them. Whilst the duo were fighting, the two remainings [Guardians] took action and went for the expedition.

People were already trying to help out Nicko and Atogin, leaving only half to fight the other two [Guardians].

"[Hostility Confirmed]"

"[Analyzing surroundings]"

"[Found three possible attack variations]"

"[Running through simulations]"

"[Simulation 3: achieved best results]

"[Now running: Simulation 3]"

The two [Guardians] halted to a stop and put their hands on the ground, breaking it and tearing it apart. They quickly began to create and throw rocks at them, most of them making contact with people, leaving massive craters where they hit, some limbs being lost and screams were heard.

Although the more agile people were able to react, as it seems that the [Guardians] would analyze everything and speak out loud. It was usually repairing damaged chunks of their armour, showing the expedition their regenerative abilities. It was only until one of the [Guardians] clashed with Harrian welding [Chaos Column].

Its red eye stared right into Harrians, which was beginning to bulge with veins again. After a small moment of them both pushings, the [Guardian] analyzed Harrian's weapon.

"[Scanning Weapon]"

"[Type: Unique Battle Scythe]"

"[Material: Growing Black Mythril]"

"[Compattiable with the body]"

"[Chance of probability killing new target: 59% and rising]"

"I like those odds, bring it!" Harrians eyes glowed brighter.

Everyone was fighting, quickly running out of breath, but everything turned around when Atogin finally tore out the red core in the [Guardians] head. It was such a visible weak point, but it was so hard to get to due to the [Guardians] protection of it.

One [Guardian] was down, and Atogin jumped off, hitting another [Guardian] making it hit the floor face first. Enar was the closet so she very quickly impaled the head, but it wasn't tough enough to go through.

"[Holy Rapier Arts: Secondary Force]!" The rapier then glowed white and Enar pushed it down, impaling the core.

Nicko, sick and tired of fighting, grabbed his [Guardian] by the arm and threw it and towards the [Guardian] with its head in the ground, making an interesting reaction. The ground began to glow red before it's head exploded, causing damage to the other [Guardians] core making it explode as well.

All that there was left was Harrian's [Guardian] that he wanted [Chaos Column]. Atogin called out towards Harrian and threw him the orb, Harrian noticed and caught it. Using [Burnball] on the [Guardian] to propel himself in the air.

Harrian then put his arm with the orb back and began to cast a [Spell].

"[Ancient Magic: Burn Affinity: Pyro Pitch]!" The orb caught on fire as Harrian threw it.

Since the [Guardian] was looking at Harrian, it didn't see or even felt the flaming orb of one of it's fallen comrades, making its head explode. Everyone was tired, and the [Guardians] were able to kill some people, eight overall, two of them belonging to each expedition.

The wounds were slashes around vital organs, there was nothing anyone could've done, all that they could've done was make it close slightly, they still would've died due to blood loss. Before long, a clap echoed throughout the room, before the mysterious voice appeared again.

"Well done, those cores were [Level 80], not the [Guardians], but the true question is, can you defeat the true [Boss]? Good… I don't know if it's day or night, but good luck!"

The voice disappeared, and the Dormont heap of marble began to do something weird. Lines and circles began to appear throughout its body, glowing green. Afterwards, the less mechanical-looking golem began to spout words.

"[Condition Achieved]"

"[Beginning Startup]"

"[Calculating Number of Hostiles]"

"[Number of Hostiles confirmed at 192]"

"[Probability of success: 50% and rising]"

"[Transferring Final instructions from [Guardians]"

"[Guardian] number 4 instructions become secondary]"

"[Secondary Target: Black Scythe wielder]"

"[Startup Completed]"
