*** Present

"I wish to withdraw something from my vault, goblin, a golden cup" Lestrange spat his species out as if Gobbleknave was some kind of rodent.

"Of course, Madam Lestrange," Gobbleknave said with a rehearsed politeness, while imagining all the ways in which he could impale her inside of his head, "Right this way."

An animated flying paper airplane, the usual mode of communication inside of the bank, came and smacked Gobbleknave on the head when he didn't catch it immediately. This brought the bloodthirsty goblin out of his fantasies of murdering Bellatrix.

"What are you waiting for?" the aforementioned witch snapped at him.

'Horcrux found. Golden cup in vault of Bellatrix Lestrange.' Gobbleknave read from the paper, after unfolding the airplane.

Holy.

F.u.c.k.i.n.g.

Shit.

This was not going to be pleasant at all.

This was going to be AMAZING.

"Just a minute, Madam, I have got to send off a few notes myself. A major client has gone bankrupt," Gobbleknave made a story up on the spot. After all, Bellatrix was a criminal in the eyes of the Goblin Nation now, and they did not extend their usual honesty to criminals.

"And who might that be, goblin?"

"Amelia Bones," Gobbleknave threw out the first name he thought of, which happened to be that of the witch who was second on the top of his brain at the moment, after Bellatrix herself.

Bellatrix smiled her maniacal crazy smile.

"She had it coming," Voldemort's right hand woman said with a satisfied expression.

Gobbleknave made a noncommittal sound as he continued scribbling furiously onto pieces of paper, and sending them zipping in various directions.

"We may proceed, Madam," he said, with a little more viciousness in his voice than he should have let across.

The witch kicked him lightly, "Don't be impolite, you Goblin bastard."

Only the knowledge of what was about to happen could stop Gobbleknave from lashing out in response to Bellatrix.

He led her to the cart which they usually took to go down to Bellatrix's vault. They were a good way onto the tracks, before Gobbleknave suddenly took a turn in the opposite direction from her vault. He hoped they were moving fast enough that she did not notice that he had surreptitiously changed their direction.

Unfortunately, Bellatrix was very paranoid and very perceptive.

"Why aren't we on the right course, you filthy creature!"

Gobbleknave couldn't hold back the nasty smirk any longer.

"You have stored a horcrux at Gringotts Bank. This is against Goblin Law, and according to the treaty that YOUR ministry signed with us, we can do whatever we like with you."

Bellatrix did not wait before sending curses flying at Gobbleknave.

The grinning goblin weaved past all the curses, only for Bellatrix to grab him by the lapels of his suit and shove him over the side of the cart, into the eternal abyss below.

Before Bellatrix could so much as think, the cart came to a very jerky stop, so fast that it threw her flying off the cart, and into the wall, headfirst.

Now bearing a concussion, Bellatrix clumsily made her way to her feet, trying to hold her wand up in a defensive position and failing at the task completely.

She heard a sinister laugh behind her, and knew who the voice belonged to, immediately.

"Gobbleknave!" she rasped out.

"You really thought you could kill a goblin by throwing him into an abyss in a GOBLIN Bank?"

Bellatrix tried to run at Gobbleknave but quickly found two swords of Goblin-make at her throat.

Gobbleknave raised his hand, "For the crime of bringing a horcrux into the vaults of Gringotts Bank, I sentence you, Bellatrix Lestrange, to death."

The mad witch screamed at the top of her lungs, even as her head was lopped off by the stoic Goblin Guards.

*** Riddle Manor

While it was true that Voldemort himself could not feel the death of any of his horcruxes, the same was not true for The Darkness. Each of the horcruxes was sealed with the powers of The Darkness, and as such, every time a horcrux was destroyed, a little bit of The Darkness was forced to return to the void, and the primordial entity felt it hard every time a piece of it was destroyed.

"Another piece of your soul has been destroyed," The Darkness told Voldemort.

"Okay," Voldemort said plainly. Weakly. Pathetically.

There was no fight left in the Dark Lord. He was now little more than a body worn by The Darkness. A body which was very quickly going to be unnecessary, as there was enough Darkness in the world to support an individual body for The Darkness.

The only reason that The Darkness still used Voldemort as an anchor was that he had forces he could command. Other than that, The so-called Dark Lord was of no use to The Darkness anymore.

Lord Voldemort was just a puppet now.

"My Lord," Lucius Malfoy himself burst into the room, "Pardon my intrusion, but...Bellatrix Lestrange has been executed by The Goblin Nation!"

For the first time in several months, The Darkness felt a flicker of feeling, a flicker of anger, from the being of Voldemort. Interesting. It seemed like Voldemort did care for at least his closest Death Eater.

"W-w-we will avenge h-her" Voldemort grinded out.

"No," The Darkness said to him, simply, "We will not."

*** The Next Meeting of The Leaders of the Light (Plus Harry, Hermione, and Daphne)

"Bellatrix Lestrange has been executed by the Goblin Nation," Amelia Bones announced.

Harry felt a little bit like laughing. The biggest blow dealt to The Darkness and Voldemort yet, and it wasn't even at their hands. It was the Goblins. The honest-to-god one hundred percent neutral Goblins.

"They found the Hufflepuff's Cup in the vault of Bellatrix Lestrange, and confirmed that it was a horcrux, and more importantly, they confirmed that they destroyed it." Amelia continued.

At this, there was a cheer from all of the Leaders of the Light.

Harry let himself smile.

Five down. Two to go.
