Holding out his hand Naruto helps Hinata to her feet, " Can join you now " Hinata asks Naruto clenching her fists tightly. Cocking his head Naruto is dumbfounded by her questions " Join me for what " clenching her hands she growls " To join your cause to create a better place my big brother Neji was born into the branch family after I met you I went to the clan's archives and learned how the main branch treats the side branch. It drove me to become stronger so I could join you in your cause " Naruto nods admiring Hinata for motive ' She weak right now but if she keeps improving as she has, she will become a valuable ally '.

" You do understand that if you join me you will have to betray the village and your clan " When Hinata nods Naruto smiles and holds out his hand taking it Hinata smiles back at him.

In the trees lining the river, Kakashi was too far away to hear what the two were saying but he was happy that Naruto made a friend. Looking at the two children, Kakashi smiles as the two walks towards the town. Naruto and Hinata spent the rest of the day together learning about each other, walking through the town Hinata noticed the look sent Naruto's way. Seeing him dismiss it so easily made Hinata, even more, ȧssure in her choice to follow Naruto.

Looking at the position of the sun Naruto is shocked at how quickly the time had passed. Spending time with Hinata, Naruto realized how much he enjoyed her company. Taking her back to her clan's gate Naruto faces Hinata " I guess this goodbye, how about we train together tomorrow "

" I would like that where should we meet up " Quickly writing down his address on a piece of paper Naruto sees Hinata off. Opening the door to his house naruto takes off his shoes, " I'm home " walking into the kitchen Naruto looks sees Kakashi standing in the kitchen. " Oh I didn't hear you come in, how was your day "

" It was good, I have a question I meet someone that I want to train with can I, " Naruto asks as he opens the fridge looking for something to eat. " Sure, are you training some were different, or are you using the house.

" Somewhere different, thanks Kakashi "

In his room, Naruto takes out one of the books that he had wanted to take a look at for a while. It was a guide to biology and genes, the subject had greatly interested him. Since his accident with the tree, Naruto had wanted to see if other organisms could be infused with chakra to alter their genes and DNA. The fact that his own was altered by Kurumas chakra was proof that it could happen.

After reading the book, Naruto had a firmer grasp on the subject. Genes contained DNA the organic coding that contained instructions for the body such as the development, functioning, growth, and reproduction. Breaking down DNA even further it contained a phosphate group, a sugar group, and a nitrogen base. If foreign DNA was circulated into the body such as blood or saliva enzymes would break down the strand into basic proteins for the body's own use. Chakra, on the other hand, was comprised of a mix of physical and spiritual energy. Each person is born with a certain amount and a certain capacity to control it, there were examples of bloodlines passing down traits that allow their descendants to directly interact with chakra producing various effects.

The genetic material of both parents is combined to create a new organism that is a mix of both parent's genes but will have certain genes from both parents that will become dominant for each trait. What Naruto really wanted was to alter the DNA of already living organisms to create new bloodlines by infusing chakra into specific parts of the body. Closing the books Naruto writes down all of his idea and hypothesis on the subject.

Ready to perform his first experiment Naruto bites down hard on his finger making a droplet of blood well up of the pad of his finger. Naruto smears the blood onto a piece of paper making a curved line. Placing his hand on the blood Naruto senses the residual chakra in the liquid, as Naruto watched it the blood slowly started to lose the chakra as it defused into the air. Naruto was right chakra was somehow tied to the blood meaning that the DNA contained in white blood cells could have something to do with the amount of chakra and chakra control someone is born with. Naruto hurriedly writes down his findings not wasting a minute. Putting away his materials Naruto goes to sleep thinking about his findings.

In the morning Naruto meets Hinata back at the river where they begin their training. Naruto teaches her how to run on trees and walk on water even though it took her longer than it did him she still was able to grasp it relatively quickly. While she was recovering from the exercises Naruto put them through he talked to her about her fighting style.

" When you're using the Gentle Fist you can target a person's chakra points right " Naruto remembers the fight between them. " Yes, but with the Byakugan it's I can see how the enemy is circulating chakra "

" Can you see anything else with your eye " Shaking her head no Naruto sighs, ' one more thing I have to solve '. The rest of the day Naruto and Hinata spar exhausting themselves, even though they bȧrėly exchanging words they still grew closer. While taking a break Naruto saw a bright flash of white fur, moving to the bush the flash disappeared into. In the bush was a small white fox, picking it up Naruto smells that sickness was hovering around it.

Running over Hinata looks over Naruto's shoulder activating her Byakugan, " It's a newborn. It doesn't look so good, it's chakra is circulating like syrup there's a lot of it but it's all backing up. " Looking at the fox Naruto finds it a girl, " I'll take her to my house, I might be able to help her " The two go their separate way agreeing to meet up tomorrow.
