The Kitsune Demon

Naruto and Hinata were sparing not pulling any punches, Hinata was using the Byakugan while Naruto fought with Greed. Aiming for his chakra points Hinata ducked Naruto's next sword swing before sending her palm towards his stomach. Smiling at her attempt Naruto quickly goes through a set of hand signs ' Wood Style: Underground Roots Technique ' the ground bulges as two small vines drill through the Earth before wrapping around Hinata's wrist stopping her attack.

Quickly reacting Hinata pulls out a kunai severing the vines and flips back in time to dodge Greed horizontal strike at her waist. Landing on her feet Hinata jumps back continuing her retreat, continuing his attack Naruto sends more vines to pressure Hinata. Standing her ground putting her palms in front of her Naruto senses a large amount of chakra being gathered in the air around her. In a few minutes, a net made of blue energy appeared in front of her. The vines that touched the net were cut to shreds, in shock that his attack was nullified Naruto smiles at how much Hinata had improved. Using his opportunity of weakness Hinata broke the net down into dozens of chakra needles that sent a shiver down Naruto's spine.

Without warning the needle flew towards him like missiles, his instincts told him if the needles hit him it wouldn't be good Naruto creates an Earth Wall before jumping back just before the needles hit the solid rock. The wall is poked full of wholes as the needles continue there path towards him. Naruto was able to block most of them with Greed but a few of the needles got past him and embedded into his body. Three needles in total reached him, two in his legs and one in his right arm. His legs failed him as he lost feeling in his arm and legs, supporting himself with Greed Naruto realizes that the needles had disappeared. Walking towards him Hinata helps him over towards the logs they used as a bench, " What was that, I can't move my legs or arms and it was able to pierce through solid stone "

Helping him sit Hinata responds " I use chakra from my palms to create needles to defend or attack. They also have the added effect of targeting nerves and chakra points to numb my opponents " Finishing her explanation Hinata sits next to Naruto waiting for him to regain feeling in his arm and legs. Running over to them from where she was watching Yue places her paws on Naruto's leg clearly wanting to be picked up. Reaching down Hinata lifts Yue up before gently scratching the fur behind her ears. The two sit on the log while talking about how to improve their fighting as individuals and a team while playing with Yue. Eventually, Naruto regained feeling in his legs and arm, " Finally I can move again, I think I'm done with training for the day. Did you want to do anything Hinata " Shaking her head Hinata smiles " I'm fine just staying here for the rest of the day, what about you Yue " Laughing at her last sentence Naruto is surprised when Yue yips before running off into the forest. After a few seconds past Yue pokes her head out of the bush yipping at the two stunned children. " You think she wants us to follow her " Shrugging Naruto stands up " Only one way to find out " running after Yue Naruto disappears into the bushes " Wait up " quickly following the two Hinata also disappears into the green foliage.

Naruto and Hinata follow Yue from the trees struggling to keep up with the white blur. They chase Yue for hours and eventually, the sky turns dark. Whenever they stop or start talking to each other about turning back Yue stops and yips at them until they follow. Through the night Hinata and Naruto don't stop and continue to follow Yue.

Hinata stopped panting in exhaustion " I can't keep going, go on wit- " her sentence is interrupted by Naruto picking her up like a princess making her blush. At one point Naruto lost sight of Yue when she ducked into a bush, doubling back Naruto drops down next to the bush Yue disappeared into. Clearing the bush away with a kunai Naruto and Hinata looks at the small hole covered by the bush.

Widening the hole with vines Naruto and Hinata push themselves into the small crevice, soon the tunnel widens so that five people could walk side by side comfortably. From up ahead Naruto sees a blue glow, speeding up the Naruto finds that the tunnel opens up into a huge underground cavern. Naruto and Hinata stare in awe at the glowing blue crystals emerging from the walls, and off to the side of the cavern is a large river emitting a blue glow. Fulling stepping into the room Naruto is shocked by the amount of chakra present in the cave, it was twice the amount present on the surface.

" What is this place, and why is the mana here so dense " Hinata gasped in awe. From the river, Naruto hears a familiar yip followed by a small white head poking up from the river bed. " Yue " Naruto and Hinata shout one after the other running over to hug the small white fox. Breaking from the embrace Yue tugs on Naruto sleeve pulling him further into the cave. Letting himself be guided by the fox Naruto comes to a patch of dirt with specks of crystal dispersed throughout.

" Why did Yue lead us here " Hinata kneels next to Naruto looking at the small fox pawing at the dirt. " I think I know why " pulling out the seed from his eye Yue yips over and over confirming Naruto suspicion. Placing the seed on the batch of dirt Naruto and Hinata are shocked by whats happens next.
