The Kitsune Demon

Hinata quickly stood up from the edge of the pool stumbling in her haste to put distance between her and the glowing blue oil. Even after Yua's warning, Naruto felt no danger from the liquid and only felt warm energy nurturing his body through his hand. His contact with the oil was broken when Hinata pulled on his shoulder, " Naruto didn't you hear Yua's warning, you can't touch it " Naruto let Hinata pull him away from oils edge she stopped when Xua called for them to stop.

" You don't need to worry about Naruto, with his constitution the oil can only help him and can't harm him in any way. You on the other hand, without proper control of nature energy present in the oil it will take over your body turning it into wood " Hinata started to shake when she realized how close she was to death's door.

" Luckily we have a way to stop the process and we can teach you how to control the nature energy " Yua glared at Xua for scaring Hinata before she explained that as long as they were careful nothing bad would happen. With Yua direction Naruto and Hinata stripped down to thier bottom clothing exsposing as much skin as possible to the almost warm liquid. Naruto and Hinata both sat on stone stools so they were submerged up to just below thier shoulders.

" To control Nature Energy you have to perfectly balance it with your Physical and Spirtual energy. To little and nothing will happen too much and... " While Xua was explaining the purpose and power of Narture Energy Yua was behind Naruto and Hinata standing above their head with a black stick in her mouth. When Naruto opened his closed eyes he stood still when he saw that almost half of Hinata's face had turned wooden. Feeling his eyes on her Hinata felt a little uncomfortable but not in a bad way, when she was going to ask what was wrong she felt something hard smack against the top of her head.

With tears in her eyes she looked over her shoulder at Yua who had hit her on the her head with the black stick in her mouth. " The Nature Energy was starting to take over your body, if you don't want to get hit pay aattention to the amount of Nature Energy in your body. Hinata and Naruto spent the next few hours submerged in the spirit oil, Hinata was hit with the stick around twnety times and Naruto wasn't even hit once. While Naruto had been absoarbing Nature Energy that was readily at his beck and call he felt like he had been trying to fill the ocean. There seemed to be no end to how much he could take, after the fifth hour Naruto grew bored with just absoarbing Nature Energy.

With nothing else to do Naruto experimented with Nature Energy trying to figure out how Nature energy was different from spirutual and physical energy. With his eye of envy he learned that Nature energy seemed to be older but also missing something. Looking over his body once again Naruto saw that his blood was also drawing in a small amount of Nature energy that was leaking from his ŀȧps in attention. Redircting the feed of Nature energy towards his blood he finaly felt something happening. At first it was slow itch building up on the surface of his skin then it slowly built up into burning sensation starting from the top of his head to the tips of his toes.

Noticing his stress Hinata reach out to touch his arm, " Naruto are you okay " the pain was unlike anything that Naruto had felt before. When he felt Hinata touch his arm he reached out and grabbed her arm with all his strength. As if it was alive the Nature Energy in the air and in Naruto spread to Hinata, she was shocked when she felt the energy surround and then infuse into her blood but quickly regained her foucus and also directed some of the energy towards her chakra points. Xua and Yua shared a worried glance as they looked on at the two children who were sharring the same pain. Naruto felt a slow pearsure build up but he knew it would be awhile before it would be over.
