The Last Abyssal, Tyrannical Pet

Chapter 41 - Golden Wind

Hades could feel it, the girl had made a breakthrough, and with it, so did he. He had no idea how she did it, but he would be eternally grateful.

As they both broke through, their linked souls resonated fiercely, as if trying to fuse. He could feel a strange energy, it brought a soul wrenching pain and his it felt like his insides were boiling, but he could feel his injuries recovering at the same time.

The strange energy seemed to clash with his own, traveling in opposite directions, but soon they intertwined, and flowed past each other. He had no idea which way his energy circulated now, but he could feel a vitality that conjured his valiant fighting spirit.

If it was now, he could do it. He felt excited, to be able to feel the dominion of his past once more, he could not wait.

He spread his wings, which have now recovered, and are currently shrouded in white feathers and now had a wingspan of a meter, rather large in proportion to his body. Weird, he never had feathers before, but it didn't matter. He waved them.

Immediately, he felt the winds bend beneath his wingtips, and flow around his body. He couldn't do it before, as his wings were weak and short, he had tried, but could barely muster a gust. But now he felt endless vitality fueling him, and knew instinctively that the wind would kneel before him once more.

This was not magic, but his own strength to expertly wield his wings to guide the wind in directions of his choosing and amplifying them.

He roared in excitement. Golden wind created a domain of total control before him. Though it wasn't as strong as he was during his peak, it was more than enough to slaughter these garbage humans.

In his glee, he almost didn't notice that these humans had take out their strange weapons with terrible power, but in his domain, nothing could escape him. All of them fired at once, the wind scattered the projectiles with ease.

Only one of them managed to approach him. It was commendable, luck or not, to be able to calculate the paths of his wind domain to such an extent is quite the feat.

But his skill was nothing before the Golden Wind domain. He could expertly feel everything that happened in this domain, every move of muscle, every being with life, every projectile.

No matter how fast it was, he could follow it. When it arrived, directly split it in half with his red-aura clad claws.

Hades was now incomparably arrogant as he watched the foolish faces of the humans who thought their weapons invincible. He looked at the one who fired the projectile, who had turned his back.

Hades almost laughed, and he thought he was arrogant. He decided to kill him last. But he deserves his arrogance. In respect to his skill, Hades decided to kill him last.

He spread thin the golden wind domain to envelop the entire room. He wasn't yet strong enough to create blades of wind with his body alone yet, so the best use of the wind domain was to increase his speed and seal the area. He did not intend to let any of them go, he was already upset enough with the ones who fled before.

His tail receded to its normal length and retracted, as it was unnecessary at this point, and felt better to tear their flesh with his claws.

He watched the humans try to run, but constantly fall under the strength of the wind. The wind itself wasn't that strong due to his low level, but the lack of muscle on their bodies along with his expert handling in changing the wind direction forced their balance to go into chaos.

He rode the wind to the nearest beast, he intended to kill them first, to instill the greatest of fear in these humans, and make them feel helpless and powerless in the face of true strength and tyranny!

He wrapped rapidly revolving wind around his claw, mixing the gold and red to create a rather ominous color, like a haunted tomb. The moment this claw fell upon the great bull that kicked him before, the body of that bull was split into two down the middle, and the insides were followed his claw as he swiped through, completely gutting the helpless beast as it brayed in despair.

When the humans saw the fate of the bull, they paled like ghosts, as if they were practicing for their deaths.

He slaughtered the rest of the beasts in the same manner before turning to the humans.

He grinned sinisterly at the humans who put him in such dire straits.

He roared and flew toward them, the wind twisting around his body, making his form dark and blurry behind it. To the humans, it looked like the shadow of their death.

And it was.

Blood scattered in the wind like rose petals in a corny romance movie as a man was directly split into 8 pieces by ruthless claws that have long been stained a deep crimson color.

The remaining humans don't dare to fight back, crawling desperately to the exits. Any thoughts of resistance had been turned to dust by the powerful golden wind.

Hades turned the golden wind into a vacuum with the room as the core. All the poor humans screamed as their bodies were dragged backwards by the golden vortex, that was now looking like the entrance to the yellow springs, with the messenger of death standing on the other side wearing a skull on its head.

He landed upon a pitiful guard, whose every body part trembled in fear. His body was small, and still rather light, so the fall didn't do any damage, but the razor sharp claws digging into his back made the human cry in pain.

Hades painfully tore out his throat, and then thrust his claw into his c.h.e.s.t, splitting it open and pulling out the mans heart, which was directly inserted into the mouth hole of the skull as the remaining guards watched in horror...
