The Last Abyssal, Tyrannical Pet

Chapter 48 - Blood Seeker Fang

Hades had been wanting to try out his soul form weapon all day. After breaking through last time, the boost granted by the breakthrough was more than enough to kill all the cowardly humans who had gone weak in the knees in fear.

But even at that time, the soul form weapon was already formed. He could instinctively what it was capable of, and thus named it the Blood Seeking Fang. Before he didn't think weapons warranted a name, but Ling'er told him that a name was a crucial part to the strength of the weapon, whatever the reason may be.

The Blood Seeker Fang was simply a blood colored fang with some gold lined patterns on it. Those patterns were apparently a representation of his essence passageways that formed it, and every soul form armament has them. They usually aren't visible, but they show when exerting the tool.

When used, the Blood Seeker Fang appears, surprise! Over his already present fang.

As of now, it was already equipped, and one of the fangs in his small mouth gleamed a deep red.

He was currently searching for the depraved teacher who had the gall to want to eat someone alive. To play with your food like that was disrespecting the prey and yourself. It shows you're too weak to show your strength hunting strong opponents, and you're compensating by torturing weaker prey. These kind of cowards sickened him.

Normally he wouldn't bother with them though. It was none of his business after all.

This was a different situation though. The human he was targeting was under his, The Tyrant, Cultivator of the 8 Paths, Hades', protection.

He had little choice but to depend on this human. It was this human, Chen Yan, that little Ling'er relied on the most, and most probably, can't live without. By proxy, he too, needed this human alive, she was quite useful after all. Very informative about this world and patient to all his questions. He couldn't have her go dying on him, no could he?

So he decided to deal with the human they call, Teacher Wen. A danger is best nipped in the bud after all.

It was also a great time to test the Blood Seeker Fang. A strong human, the human Suya said that he was at the Golden Core Realm, the 6th realm, the peak of Core Formation. He on the other hand, was only of the qi refining stage, merely the 2nd realm.

But that did not discourage him. His low realm did not stop him from killing a dozen soul refiners and a hollow core in the Divine Hall that day.

Unfortunately he could not use the wind domain without borrowing Ling'er's strength. But he had fought stronger enemies than himself before. It's not like every battle should be head on. That's just foolish, and would only get you killed.

He would assassinate him.

Hades finally located him, he was leaving the campus. Going to his vehicle.

From the human, Chen Yan, he learned that there are powerful objects that are used as mounts called vehicles. The 'bike' they took to school was one kind, and this 'car' was another.

The difference between this vehicle and a normal mount is the difference between an ox and a monkey: Flexibility.

He decided to wait for him. He recently learned to conceal his aura using the 8 paths. This was one of the many subsidiary skills of the technique, which are ways to utilize the qi of your cultivation method. Such skills are in many techniques, the 7 Soul Notes' Soul Communion Skill is a prime example.

-Conceal: A tyrant never reveals their true power unless they want to.- this skill hides his level, making him appear to be an ordinary cat.

There were other skills like:

-False Courage: A tyrant kneels before no one, even if he's weak and dying- this allows him to lessen the pressure brought from a stronger foe.

And -Intimidate: A tyrant looks upon all with disdain. A strong face, even if false, weakens the will of your enemies- this increases his aura, making him seem stronger than he is.

Though all these skills have limits at his level, they were quite useful in dealing with stronger opponents.

He equipped Conceal, and his under the humans's car. He could tell which was his by where his eyes were pointing. This was basic when predicting the movement of prey.

The prey indeed walked to the car he was under and opened the door. Hades easily slipped inside. He crawled under the seat and into the backseat.

The human mounted the vehicle seat. He had just started the engine when he felt a razor sharp, thin blade sink deeply into back of his neck.

"AAAAAHHH!!!" He felt a searing agony spread throughout his entire body, as the blade twisted back and forth in his back. Fortunately, in seconds a feeling of water dousing the fire burning his body as the pain vanished as quickly as it came.

But he was a cultivator, despite the sudden ambush, he circulated his energy and released his full power.

Golden fur grew all over his body as his muscles doubled in size. Razor sharp claws and fangs revealed themselves as a lethal dagger each on its own. He moved to resist his attacker, but...

His arms would not respond to him, neither did his legs. He... was paralyzed from the neck down.

His widened as he realized that the stab to his neck wasn't meant to kill him, but to cripple him. The only reason his cultivation could still be activated was that his essence passageways was a separate system that had fortunately avoided the crippling blow. His pupils dilated in horror as he felt the terrifying experience of not being able to control his own body. Then he felt something again, his eyes brightened for just a second before they spammed in pain again.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!! WRYYYYYYYYY!!!!!"

Fangs clamped down on he part of his neck that could still feel, as he screeched in pain and cried in helplessness and despair. Tears and snot fell down his face as he tried to recall what he could've done to deserve this. Surprisingly to him alone, many things came up.

Then he felt his transformation failing, for some reason, his passageways no longer had the strength to support it. Then he felt his core losing its golden color, and cracks appear along it.

He strained to glance in his peripheral vision, to find terrifying fangs stuck inside his neck, and golden energy flowing out his body into a crimson colored fang that had gold vein patterns, indicating its usage.

His eyes dilated into the size of a flea. This thing was draining his cultivation?!
