The Last Abyssal, Tyrannical Pet

The tyrant watched Pluto fall, and his wings merged back together as he approached at a slow, yet steady pace.

"I acknowledge my defeat, congratulations, tyrant. I commend your strength and cunning." Pluto said slowly, as he continued to lose blood. Though he was mortally wounded, his life force was strong, and he had some time before he died. He realized that at the end, the tyrant had flown past him before changing directions to strike his unguarded back, piercing his heart from behind.

It was not that the tyrant couldn't speak, but that he had no need, as his body language was often quite clear of his intentions. The tyrant then spoke for the first time in this battle.

"You were also strong." though it was obvious, it still needed to be said as respect for a worthy foe.

"Do you have a name?"

"I am called Tyrant."

"Did the ones who birthed you give you that name?" Pluto thought it was a strange name, as he thought it was just a title.

"No, that's just what the ones I've met have always called me." Tyrant thought it was a strange question as he looked at Pluto weirdly.

Pluto's face momentarily blanked. He realized that although the tyrant was cunning, he wasn't very clever. He sighed.

"That's not a real name. As the fallen monarch of the abyss, as well as your elder, I will give you a proper name before I die" Pluto felt he was doing him a favor with this, and believed it an appropriate tribute to the one who slew him.

"I understand." Tyrant was simple, and did not really get it, but he accepted it, as it was a request from his strongest opponent.

"In the name of Pluto, reigning monarch of the abyss for several millennia, I give you the name of Hades. From here on you are the tyrant, Hades!" Pluto declared with a powerful, resonating voice that seemed to echo for miles, he then closed his eyes as he awaited his last breath.

"You have my thanks, Pluto." He replied solemnly as he watched the body slowly grow cold. He then roared loudly.

"I am now the greatest being in the Abyss, all kneel before me! For my name is TYRANT HADES!" His eyes were were gleaming with excitement, and at the same time Pluto opened his eyes in abrupt shock!

Pluto facepalmed at the sight of Tyrant mistaking his title as his name again.

"Is he actually an idiot???" And with those words and in that position, he took his last breath then and there.
