Yesterday Haruto and the others did not pay too much attention to the city because of Fia and Elsie's rampage. But besides culinary this was a really beautiful city.

The buildings were painted with various colors and they did not lack of greeneries. Flowers field, recreation park, even the road was clean and hygienic.

He could tell that whoever led this city was definitely a remarkable person. A medieval city in middle ages that's able to create such prim environments was extremely rare.

There's a possibility that whoever invented such system were otherworlders. And the world they came from was a modern world just like Haruto or perhaps even better. Maybe they were disoriented by the disorder of the town condition based on their past memory and corrected it.

All in all Haruto was very pleased with this city. He didn't mind coming back here time to time even when they're travelling around. He also curious that perhaps the capital was even more better than this town? Well it should be, it's the capital after all.

And this kind of regulations wouldn't happen if the nobilities were rotten and corrupted. No, there must be some of them but their numbers would be miniscule, at least to this city. A lot of nobles in other stories often corrupted and arrogant as hell, he's extremely despise them.

Strolling around and enjoying the view around them they finally arrived in front of the adventurer guild.

It was located near the center of the city, a huge five stories building with luxury design.

They entered the gate and much different than the one on Calad it was very crowded with various adventurers.

As usual some gazes from men were directed towards Elsie or Fia. But Haruto only thought of the one that's looking at Fia as lolicons.

Some women were gazing at Haruto too but he didn't notice that himself. Fia was sighing for this dense boy beside her. It looked like he still hadn't realize that he's a very handsome man and back in Calad everytime some girls trying to get close to him she or Elsie would chase them away, but he himself never know about this.

Actually back in his old world he's also extremely popular but because he's an avid otaku his fondness of 2D was overwhelming that he disregarded the intent of the girls around him, resulting in the girls becoming reluctant to approach him directly.

But it was different in this world of otaku's dream, his eyes would wandered everywhere.

Haruto could see other races inside the guild from a beautiful onee-san elf, a voluptuous wolf woman to a short but muscular middle aged man dwarf.

Looking at the long or fluffy ears of both elves and animal person really ignited his mischief to find out whether it was true they were very s.e.n.s.i.t.i.v.e or not.

"...Haruto-nii your face was nasty."

"...Yes I feel like you're gonna eat someone with your eyes."

Fia and Elsie took a step back while making a creepy gesture. Haruto gasped and corrected his face while wiping out his drool. He coughed and put on his usual gentleman face.

"W, Well I admit I lost control for a second there."

'..but isn't it because you won't let me pet your ears and tails Fia?' he added with a whisper

Fia's ears twitched, she heard what he whispered and her face turned red instantly. She instinctively folded her fox ears and tails while hiding them with her hands from Haruto's sight.

"T, T, There's no way I could let you do that!!"

"...Stingy" He sulked.

Fia glared at Haruto while gritting her teeth. She was so embarrassed. The act of touching animal person's ears or tails was considered very intimate and delicate, it was not an act that can be allowed blatantly.

Haruto ignored her glare and proceed to line up on the shortest line, a second from the left out of 5 lines. He realized the reason this line was short was because the receptionist was an ossan.

He secretly "Tch" in his heart but did not show it on his face. But Fia and Elsie seemed to notice his thought and rolled their eyes to him.

"Ou, welcome to the guild nii-chan. You're new here?"

"Yeah, just arrived yesterday."

"That so? Then what's your business here?"

"Well do you have recommendations for quests that can be done in a short time and did not have to travel far from the city?"

"Can't say that we don't but let me see your guild cards first."

Haruto and Fia took out their guild cards. Haruto was yellow while Fia was green. Elsie did not join them because she cannot fight and would only follow them around. She only registered for an identity after all. Though she still had to complete a quest time to time so her card won't be revoked.

The ossan receptionist took out a pile of doc.u.ments and sorted them out before he took a few pieces.

"Item gathering and monster subjugation?"

"Umm it's certainly not difficult to do, the items can be collected nearby and the monsters were not that strong." Fia commented.

"We just need some money after all and the faster we did, the better." Haruto nodded.

They accepted the quest and put the quest forms on Elsie's bag (made from hagoromo).

"Oh yeah I want to ask something, can I?"

"No problem nii-chan, what is it?"

"About the forest south from here, is there something special about it?"

"Hm? The forest to the south... Oh you must mean about the dungeon there."

"Dungeon?"

Haruto raised his eyebrow for a new term he just heard in this world. Fia saw his bewilderment and explained it to him.

Basically a dungeon was just like on the famous RPG games from his old world. A labyrinth where monsters resided and players would search for treasure c.h.e.s.ts.

This world was also the same. Adventurers would hunt for treasures there and fought against monsters. Once the dungeons were cleared by conquering the last floor, they disappeared.

The treasure c.h.e.s.ts would contained various things from minerals, equipments, or the extremely rare artifacts.

There was a newly appeared dungeon inside that forest and it still hadn't been cleared.

Haruto was secretly relieved that it didn't seem to be what he imagined. If it was a dungeon then no wonder he couldn't detect the inside since the entrance of the dungeon would lead to a separate dimension. But after he asked the next question his wariness was lit up once again.

"Is that dungeon hard to clear?" Haruto asked.

"Nah, it was a small dungeon so the difficulty was not high. Adventurers would clear them after some days, or at least they should be..." The ossan put on solemn expression.

"...Is there something wrong with it?" Haruto narrowed his eyes.

"Well calling it something wrong or what but to be honest we don't know anything." The ossan put on a vexed face.

"Huh?"

"It was confirmed to be a small low leveled dungeon. Some adventurers managed to explore around a little and some others died."

"...Isn't that normal?"

"Well yes it should have been if not for the fact that the one who died were parties of blue rank adventurers. Even some red ones ended up not coming back after entering."

They were stunned of what they heard.
