The Legacy Of Son Goku

Right now, Haruto and the others were on they way back to Selianna's villa.

Haruto already reached his limit on maintaining his Super Saiyan form so Elsie used her hagoromo to change his face a little and placed a weak illusion to alter someone's perception so random civilians wouldn't recognize him.

At least today he gained a good proficiency for his transformation. It's not that hard for him to up his form to the second stage or the third stage of the first level of Super Saiyan.

He remembered Vegeta needed to train for about 2 months in order to achieve that while Goku seemingly able to access the form immediately when he entered the Hyperbolic Time Chamber.

He suspected the reason to be because during that time Vegeta was just recently reach Super Saiyan while Goku already achieved that for about 4 years. No wonder Goku's mastery was above Vegeta even if he didn't use it much on his training for fighting androids.

Haruto calculated that by his current pace perhaps he could mastered the Super Saiyan form by tomorrow the fastest or three days later the slowest.

This was extremely fast, his learning ability was too extraordinary but this too perhaps because of inheriting Goku's instinct and sense when he was in the later story.

Once again he checked the restrains inside his body and one of them already very close on being released. With this it was confirmed by the time he reach mastery upon his transformation he could gain access to the second level, Super Saiyan 2.

He guessed that unlocking Super Saiyan 3 shouldn't be that hard too considering they were all "power-ups" from the first Super Saiyan level.

The problem was unlocking his god form. It was definitely going to be a big hurdle to reach especially considering Goku learning them through the ritual instead of attaining the godly power by himself.

In this case Vegeta was better than him since unlike Goku he managed to obtain the power of a god through his own hard work without the ritual so if Haruto inherited Vegeta's legacy instead he would be able to unlock the form easier. Goku lacked the experience so Haruto would face difficulties later.

His current speculations were because he discovered that unlocking the restraint did not only require him to be strong but also depended on other factors like his proficiency on handling Goku's power. Similar to how Zamasu was having trouble accessing his Saiyan body's true potential at first.

Sighing from his thought he noticed they're already right in front of the house. Fia rang the bell and waited for Selianna to open the door.

Before long the door was unlock and a beautiful blonde woman appeared in front of them. The knight woman was as elegant and beautiful as always. Even Kaori seemed daze a little seeing her for the first time.

The same could be said to Selianna she was dumbfounded seeing unfamiliar beautiful girl with Haruto's gang.

She narrowed her eyes and glared at Haruto thinking he was causing problem to another girl but suddenly she gasped as if remembering something and became quite uneasy.

She quickly gestured them to come inside and the group entered the house while being confused on her behavior.

"What's wrong Selianna? You seem strange." Haruto asked.

"…."

Selianna was silent and Haruto could see she was sweating a bit as if she was currently being tense and nervous. At first Haruto was trying to introduce Kaori but seeing her odd behavior he decided to leave it for later.

It looked like Kaori too share the same thought as him and followed quietly even though she felt bad entering someone's house without introducing herself. They went to the living room and entered inside.

"Yaho~!"

A voice greeted them cheerfully. They were all startled from a new person currently sitting on the sofa sipping a cup of tea gracefully.

It was another beautiful woman with medium length violet hair reaching her elbows and brown eyes.

She wore a yellow sweater and black pants, crossing her leg. Her figure was slender but she's not that tall, about 5.3 feet.

She fell short compared to Haruto who was 6.1 feet.

"Selianna, this person is…" Haruto asked the person next to him.

"Well, she's…"

Before Selianna could finish her strained answer the unfamiliar girl stood up and approached Haruto.

They were stunned seeing her suddenly being nearby and went towards the boy.

"Hee what an interesting boy~ what's your name?" she narrowed her eyes and smiled as if analyzing the boy in front of her.

Haruto was absentminded. Not because of her approach but because he felt something wrong from her.

His instinct was currently ringing alarm bell to run away as soon as possible. Without knowing his body started to tense up and dropping cold sweats.

He tried to back off from her but his body strangely did not obey his will and he was glued on the spot.

There's nothing strange, neither the amount of her energy nor the characteristic of it. It was normal, an ordinary civilian amount of energy and pure.

It's not that often seeing someone this being this pure so she shouldn't be an evil person. But what's this threatening sensation he's feeling right now? Just what did she want from him?

Haruto tried to voice his thought and asked the girl but he couldn't open his mouth.

"Fufufu what's wrong? Are you not going to tell your name? So cold~" Her face was being playful unlike the content of her statement.

Even if Haruto wanted to answer her question he couldn't do it. Right now it was as if his body was turned into a statue and he could only stare blankly at the person in front of him.

No matter how much he shouted to move on his head it was futile. A very powerful pressure was suppressing his movements. Strangely, the other people beside him didn't seem to feel the same way as him, did she directed the pressure on him?

"It's not common seeing someone's able to suppress their power like this you know? And you seemed to be a green rank adventurer I never heard someone of that level being capable of doing this. Hmhm, Haruto is it? So that's your name~"

"!?"

When he noticed she already took his guild card and examined it. 'This girl just when did she do that? And she's aware I'm suppressing my power level? Just who the hell is she?' Just when he was shocked from the spectacle, the girl suddenly moved her gaze back to him and squinted her eyes.

*CLANK!*

A sound of metal striking against each other sounded. Haruto realized a black sword just parrying some kind of projectile weapon and protected his body, placed right in front of his c.h.e.s.t.

"Ooh?"

The girl raised her eyebrows and looked at the person deflecting her 'attack'. There stood Kaori already in her apostle form. She did not wear her silver armor but her hair already turned silver and she was holding a black sword in her hand, extending it in front of Haruto's body.

Haruto once again could not register what just happened, he rolled his eyes to the ground and saw a pen broken into two pieces on the floor. Soon he understood what just happened. The girl in front of him threw the pen at him with absurd speed and Kaori reacted to that and parried the attack with her sword.

"Hoho you too are a very interesting person, young miss. I didn't recall you being silver haired before, could it be you can change the color of your hair? Amazing~" She giggled amusedly

"…."

Kaori did not answer and maintained her grim face glaring at the girl with full of caution. She summoned her second sword, a white one on her other hand and readied her stance. The opponent in front of her was extraordinary.

Just now she must activated her [Godspeed] to deflect the pen, it shown just how fast her attack was. Haruto too by now already on maximum alert, already grasping the capabilities of the woman in front of him. It was a very embarrassing thing to say but Kaori was currently much stronger than him so if she herself felt anxious then they were in a huge trouble.

Fia and Elsie was standing from behind completely stunned and looking very concern at the tense atmosphere.

"Pfft…HAHAHAHAHA!"

The girl suddenly burst out laughing. Haruto was dumbfounded seeing that and he noticed the pressure around his body disappeared and he could move freely once again.

Even Kaori too, she widened her eyes not understanding what happened. The girl laughed for a few minutes before she started to calm down while wiping her teary eyes.

"Hehehe sorry about that you two just look so amusing so I can't help but laugh. Haven't you heard a saying that being tense made you look older more quickly? You should be more relax you know, am I that scary~?

She suddenly blurted out such a thing. They were all retorted loudly in their head "You're the one causing all of it! And you're asking if you're scary?" But the girl didn't seem to notice their thought and still chuckling playfully. Selianna that just being silent the entire time sighed exasperatedly.

"Please don't joke around too much, you're scaring them, 'princess'"

"Eeeh~ but he's just so interesting so I couldn't help it."

"S-Selianna, what did you just say?" Haruto asked Selianna while stuttering.

"*sigh* This person is the imperial princess of Filtrania, Luminette B. S. Filtrania. Other than a princess, she is also one of the Deva Knight in our country."
