"Ah, Haruto-kun."

Kaori called Haruto who currently eating bread and eggs for breakfast. Elsie was inside Fia's room to feed her breakfast since she's still laying limply on the bed.

Selianna asked to do the job but Fia refused with face full of terror seeing her loose expression while drooling and panting heavily.

She felt even more danger towards Selianna than the just past [Growth] Haruto.

Of course the rejected Selianna was currently locking herself inside her room and weeping loudly on her bed. Even right now a faint sound of 'Boo hoo... Why Fia-tan...why... I'm not scary uuu....' could be heard from her room.

"Hmm, what is it?"

Haruto's face was twitching hearing that at first but by now he already beautifully ignored her and responded to Kaori calmly.

"How are you planning to infiltrate their house tonight?"

Kaori too at first was extremely startled seeing Selianna's acting that way. Her image of her dignified figure already collapsed in her mind and her eyes turned blank.

"...Hmm I thought of some ways but I still needed to take a look at their territory first before deciding. That's why I'll have a survey later."

"Is that so... Do you want me to accompany you?"

"It's okay you can stay at the house for now I wanted you to protect Fia and Selianna here since that guy might be sending another assassins. We already disposed all of them before and he should already noticed by now. There's no telling what he might do after finding out about it."

"I understand, then what about Elly-chan?" Kaori nodded.

"I will have Elsie accompany me after this."

"Eh? Really, Kami-sama?"

Elsie asked after she just returned from Fia's room and washed the dishes. She raised her head and looked at Haruto. She seemed surprised he was taking her along.

"It's been awhile since we last went out together isn't it? And also, I was planning to visit Eisha, I thought you must missed her." He smiled gently.

"Ah! Okaa-sama! Yes please, I really wanted to meet her!!" Elsie's eyes brightened up hearing they would visit Eisha, she was upset when Haruto didn't bring her along during the time he summoned Kaori.

Because of her excitement she didn't notice the former part of what Haruto just said. And when she finally remembered what he was saying she immediately went "E-Eh? Walking together with Kami-sama? Eh? Could this be... a date? Eh?" And her face turned bright red immediately after that.

Before she would accept his invitation with pure excitement without being shy.

But because of Haruto's recent action towards her a few days ago her views regarding her Kami-sama was changing quite a lot and her reaction towards intimate moments are now like a proper teenage maiden towards a boy of the same age.

For some reason Kaori pouted hearing their plans and asked,

"Can I come too? I want to visit Okaa-san too."

"No you can't, I told you I want you to protect the others...." Haruto answered with bewilderment. What's going on with her? And aren't you just met her recently?

"Hmph..."

Kaori sulked and turned his head to the side not wanting to face Haruto.

She felt annoyed hearing they're planning to have a date together and left her behind.

The table turned silent with neither speaking with each other.

Elsie was still lost in her mind and did not paying attention to her surroundings.

Haruto could only scratched the back of his head awkwardly since he didn't know why Kaori was upset.

"So, why are you visiting Okaa-san, Haruto-kun? You still haven't found another crystal right?"

Kaori finally opened her mouth and asked after the few minutes awkward silence.

"A-Aa, I just wanted to ask her a few things."

"Could it be about my Skills?"

"Well yeah, I was wondering if there's another change made by her and if there's something I must know about it."

He remembered about Kaori's additional Skills like [Limit Break] and [Supreme Break]. He wondered if there's another extra Skills since Kaori most certainly did not possess such Skills before.

"...I see. I don't know what change about me since I don't have memories about my original self..." Kaori said, pondering.

"Don't worry about it, I like the way you are now anyway." He smiled and said softly.

Kaori blushed heavily from that and she hung her head while fidgeting with her face red to the ears, she felt really happy hearing what he just said.

Haruto chuckled seeing her embarrassed thinking she was so adorable.

Haruto and Elsie made their way to the church together after finishing their breakfast.

Along the way they strolled around the city, admiring the majestic buildings amd environments of the capital. The quality of the buildings and road were even higher than Latia.

But that's just around the middle of the city though since around the corner, the place where people lacking in money resided was quite bad and dangerous if you're alone.

There's also slums located there and it was even worse so Haruto preferred not going there otherwise it would be bad for his heart.

He knew it was impossible for all people to live equally and some would definitely suffered from misfortune and live poorly. If there's happy people that means there's also unhappy people.

Just like when there's light there would also be darkness, otherwise there won't be such terms if either one of them was missing.

But that didn't mean he's not feeling sympathy. Even if he decided not to meddle on such things since it was not his job nor he's that good of a person, he was after all a human being with healthy mind.

Elsie noticed his thought and smiled brightly trying to console him. At first she was quiet and being shy along the walk but right now she already regained her cheerfulness and walked around with Haruto excitedly.

They bought some foods and juices from the stalls along the way and also talking with each other while smiling and laughing merrily. Elsie felt very happy right now that she wished things would stay this way.

Haruto entered a shop and bought a hairpin for Elsie. It was a flower shaped pin with rainbow colors on the petals with a childish face on the middle.

He thought a normal cute hairpin would suit her better rather than the skull accessory, she didn't look like a devil after all, more like an angel, perhaps even more than Kaori.

Elsie was stunned seeing Haruto buying her a gift. She looked at the hairpin and thought it was very cute and lovely.

She smiled charmingly with teary eyes when she accepted the gift.

Haruto felt very satisfied seeing her happy. For him she really looked like a younger sister and it reminded him of Asami, even though she was supposed to be his Onee-san.

Elsie removed the skull accessory and put on the flower hairpin on her head.

"...How is it..?" She asked shyly.

"Yeah, you looked very cute and pretty Elsie. As expected from my imouto, huh." He nodded and pat her head gently.

"Un! Thank you...Nii-sama!"

Elsie put on her happiest and most cheerful expression, for the first time she call him purely as her older brother.

She felt weird calling him that and for some reason there's conflicting feelings on her heart when he called her as his imouto.

But she thought he's also look like an older brother that always taking care and protect her so she didn't mind that much.

From now on too she would live and accompany him forever.

Even if in the future their relation with each other changed because of the sprouting sweet feelings inside her heart, such thing did not matter at all. She was sure it would not be a bad relationsh.i.p.s and instead even much more better.

She couldn't fight and she's not strong like the others. That's why she would wait for them to come home, making foods and preparing bath, in order to welcome them brightly when they came back exhausted.

Even if they're not real family but they all look like such and it was a family role to welcome the other families when they came home.

That's the only role she could do and right now she felt proud of it, doing her job full of smiles.

She hold the hairpin on her head while treating both the pin and her feelings as her most important treasures in her heart.

Haruto at this time didn't realize that a seed of power had appeared deep inside his soul from Elsie's change of feelings.
