Sighing deeply the group was feeling irked because of the unpleasant event. From outside the room, there's sound of banters between two people with one of them was exactly the cause of their displease.

Before long the noises were getting further away until they couldn't be heard anymore.

"Looks like, he's gone." Rikka said.

"Gunununu~ Just who is he? Suddenly coming and saying a bunch of nonsense!" Kaori gritted her teeth in frustration.

"Yeah, he's getting on my nerves!" Fia exclaimed.

"I don't like him...." Elsie pouted.

"Even for me, this is the first time I met someone with so much self-esteem..." Asami frowned.

"Hmm, weird. Somehow it feels like that person is familiar...." Selianna murmured while tilting her head.

"Haru-kun? What do you think?" Rikka asked.

They all turned their gazes on Haruto who still turning his back on them with his head hung low as if pondering with something. He didn't even hear Rikka calling out to him as if lost in thought.

"Haru?" Asami was bewildered.

"Hm? Ah, what is it?" Haruto twitched and turned his head on them.

"Not what is it, what are you thinking just now?" Kaori put her hands on her waist.

"Well, I'm just thinking why he's coming here."

"What?"

They were all dumbfounded from his answer.

"Isn't it because you're his contender? I'm pretty sure he was asked to defeat you too just like how you were asked to defeat him. So he wanted to see his opponent." Kaori said with confusion on her face.

"Nah ah. He obviously didn't even know I'm in this room because he showed surprise face after he saw me. That means his purpose since the very beginning is you guys." Haruto explained.

"Huh? Is that so? Now that you said he was glancing at all of us immediately after entering...." Rikka touched her chin.

"But why? No, I get it judging from what he said but still what gives him such idea?" Kaori was very puzzled. She was sure they didn't even see each other before.

"That's what I'm thinking. Seeing his dumbstruck expression when he saw you guys or more precisely Nee-san, it could be seen he didn't know your appearance before so he must be hearing that from someone." Haruto nodded and glanced at Asami.

"Humph, like I will fall for that chuuni bastard." Asami snorted.

"Of course you won't. I'm not worry about that." Haruto grinned.

"...."

Asami was feeling irritated seeing his nonchalant attitude instead of worrying about her so she approached him with a smile that made Haruto trembled.

"W-What is it?"

"So you don't worry about me Haru?"

"Huh? Well yeah. I mean, no one will like that kind of guy right? Unless it's someone with odd fetish but you're not like that."

".....That's not what I meant." Asami pouted.

"???"

What? Did he say something wrong? What did she mean?

Haruto was very perplexed seeing his sister sulking like she was throwing tantrums. He looked at the other girls only to see them sighed very ve~ry deeply.

Fia, Elsie, and Selianna pat Asami's shoulders with understanding face and began comforting her. Only Kaori and Rikka showed somewhat complicated face as someone from the modern society faction.

'What? Why is everyone reaction like this? Where did I go wrong?'

He was sure his sister was not someone easily fell to no good guy based on his experience nor did she have some kind of special fetish for someone like that lion beastman that's why he showed her his faith on her but it seemed backfire instead? Could it be Asami was actually having interest with that guy?

'How can that be....'

Haruto's face turned pale in shock and disbelief. His hear was filled with unwillingness to accept such thing so he decided to confront his sister on later time. At first he was feeling lack of motivation to deal with that kind of troublesome guy but his fighting spirit and hostility was fully incensed by now.

'You want to get my sister? Then I'll make sure you'll eat your grandma instead.'

He thought with overwhelming murderous intent on his eyes and face.

In the past he made a vow along with his father that anyone dares to lay a hand on Asami shall be extinguished from this world now he'll fulfill that vow despite his father's absence. Haruto could imagine the figure of his dad giving him a thumb up.

In fact, there's some people who's mysteriously 'disappeared' only to return with lifeless like condition in the past after the father and son duo learned their intentions but it was another story.

They went out of arena soon after, no longer having the mood to watch the tournament. If there's something important, they could always buy the record of the match at later time anyway so there's not much of a problem.

The girls were looking at the only boy in the group letting out flaming aura (illusion) as he bit his thumb with vicious face. They didn't know why but he's being so strangely agitated since before they left. It was so much that his mood was restored completely, even beyond that despite he's in the pre-Growth state.

He also sneaking glance at Asami with a very suspicious gaze, making her feel perplexed. She's already cheered up after awhile from her brother's denseness but somehow or another it was him that acting strangely now.

She decided to ignore him for the time being thinking he must be imagining strange things in his head. Well, she's not wrong though.

They were strolling on the streets, visiting and viewing various kinds of stalls and stores. And as they played around the city island, Haruto was starting to calm down too and joined in the fun. Right now was an important event involving the whole world so they atmosphere on the city was very festive. People were making merry with occasional parade passing through the road.

There's quite a lot of interesting things, similar to a Summer Festival back in Japan. The trio of Fia, Selianna, and Elsie were especially excited like a kid in front of a toy seeing the various attractions. They played fish catching games and managed to win some. There's even some kind of drama plays and music competition they attended.

Haruto and the other three girls looked at them with warm eyes. By now they were completely cheered up from their previous mood and walked around happily while chatting with each other. Their lives were filled with fighting and conflicts so having time like this is quite rare so they made sure to enjoy themselves as much as they can.

They bought some skewers from the stall. Although they already bet almost the entirety of the money, but they still left enough to have some fun, their earnings from Tartarus and quests combined together was quite large after all.

"Hey look look, there's something interesting over there!"

They heard someone shouting on their friends while pointing to a certain direction.

"Something interesting? What is it?" One of them asked.

"It's a shooting competition. Apparently, there's someone extremely good at it so a lot of people were coming to watch!"

"Oh? Is he that good?"

"Nope, it's a woman, a very beautiful one at that! I don't know who she is just yet so let's take a look!"

"Now you made me interested. Let's go!!"

They yelled excitedly and run to the direction the man guided them to.

"Shooting competition? So there's something like that here too." Haruto said a bit surprised.

"I wonder if it was similar to our hometown?" Rikka was also feeling curious.

"Hmm, do you know anything Fia-chan?" Asami asked the fox girl beside her.

"I don't know, this is my first time seeing this kind of thing." Fia shook her head. She was living in a remote village so her knowledge regarding this is very low.

"How about you Selianna?" She asked the knight woman next.

"Well, I only saw it once during my childhood. If I recall, it was a sport where people competed on which one managed to hit the targets around them the most using magic toy guns."

"I see, it's only on a bigger scale than what we knew of huh." Haruto nodded.

"Do you want to go there Nii-sama?" Elsie asked.

"You're not aiming at the beautiful girl mentioned just now right?" Asami gazed at him doubtfully.

"N-No, I'm just a bit curious of this shooting competition." Haruto averted his eyes.

The others did not convince of his excuse. Rikka and Elsie only showed wry smiles while Selianna remained indifferent.

They then proceeded to follow the direction the people from before gone to.

Soon enough, they could see a large crowd standing outside a large plaza. Since Fia couldn't see clearly due to her lack of height, Haruto picked her up and put her on his shoulders. She was resisting with red face because it was embarrassing but Haruto ignored her.

Rikka, Asami, and Selianna was considered quite tall with height reaching 6 ft so they don't have much problem. Elsie hovered a bit using flying magic because her height is a bit insufficient. No one paying much attention to such fact because it's not very rare for a magician to fly using magic.

They saw the spectacle inside the plaza. The competition just ended with a figure of a woman spinning a handgun like an expert sheriff showing the audiences her flawless victory.

Haruto, Kaori, and Selianna nearly fell to the ground the moment they saw this woman's appearance.

"Okay everyone~!! It's your beloved shooting princess Lumi-chan's victory again ye~ay! Bu~t I still accept challenges from anyone and the reward is still the same! So whoever wanted to have their chance feel free to go up to the stage~"

She winked with a peace sign on her hand while sticking out her tongue. A medium-length beautiful violet hair gorgeous woman wearing a cosplay-like outfit resembling a mahou shoujo. The trio of Haruto, Kaori, and Selianna knew this woman very well so they couldn't help but screamed loudly in their mind.

'Why the hell are you here?!'

It was the infamous imperial princess considered as the strongest human they haven't seen for quite some time.
