The Legend of Harry Potter Schoolmaster

Chapter 62 Return to Diagon Alley (Part 1)

The second day of the year-end banquet...

Finally, the wardrobe was empty, the bookshelves were empty, and all their luggage was packed into the trunk.

The house-elves carried all their luggage onto the train.

Summer notices were sent to each student, warning them not to use magic during the holidays.

Hagrid took them to Thestral's carriage and took them to Hogsmeade Railway Station.

On the way home this time, he couldn't be in a cubicle with Astoria; Hannah Abbott, Susan Burns, and Zacharias-Smith among several Hufflepuffs Students, pull him to their cubicle.

"It's great, we finally broke the previous embarrassing record... Jon is really thanks to you!" Susan said with a look of joy.

"We can't be satisfied with such a little achievement!" Zacharis patted Jon on the shoulder with a mature look: "We have to work harder next year, at least to get the second place in the Academy Cup!"

"Second place seems to be a bit difficult, after all, there are two gangsters ahead..." Jon said to himself, of course he still had a smile on his face.

They were sitting on the Hogwarts Express, talking and laughing all the way!

Looking out the window, the farmland became more and more green and tidy; the train passed one town after another, and it was getting closer and closer to London.

Jon took off his wizard robes and put on the short shirt and jeans he was more accustomed to wearing.

Finally, the train stopped on platform 9? of King's Cross station.

It took them a long time to pass the platform.

There was a shriveled old wizard guarding the ticket gate on platform 9?, allowing only two or three students to pass at a time.

That way there won't be a whole bunch of people emerging from the solid wall at the same time, attracting the attention of the Muggles next to them.

Stepping out of platform 9?, Jon saw Mrs Greenglass ahead, holding one of her daughters; Astoria kept peeking back until she saw Jon, and she smiled.

Secretly wave goodbye to Jon, who is taken away by her mother.

Soon after, Jon found Eric and Judy, his parents, on the platform.

Judy rushed over enthusiastically, hugged her son in her arms, and kissed his forehead.

Eric stood upright and asked with a smile, "How are you doing, kid?"

"Not bad!" Jon poked his head out of his mother's arms: "At least the older ones..."

"Don't be humble, you must be the first!" Eric patted him on the back: "I don't know you yet, when did you fall to the second place since you were a child...go, Are we going home?"

"No, wait... let's go to Charing Cross Road first, to Diagon Alley!" Jon said quickly.

"Okay, let's go..."

The group soon came to the station's parking lot and boarded Eric's classic Jaguar XJ6 sedan.

...

Half an hour later, Eric's car arrived at Charing Cross Road in Westminster, West London.

Eric was well acquainted, and it didn't take long for Eric to find the shabby bar in the middle of a big bookstore and a record store.

"The Leaky Cauldron, a very famous place!" he introduced to his wife triumphantly.

Judy also glanced at this very inconspicuous bar in surprise.

Jon finally asked his parents to stay at Charing Cross Road, and did not let them follow him into Diagon Alley; after all, there were many wizards in Diagon Alley, not to mention Knockturn Alley next door.

Eric and Judy, two ordinary people, if they are targeted by dark wizards who discriminate against Muggles, it will not be good.

And he is a serious student at Hogwarts anyway, and I am afraid that no one dares to cast a spell on him on the street in the clear day and day.

Walking into the Leaky Cauldron Bar alone, the owner Tom, who had almost lost his teeth, smiled and nodded to him.

Jon hurriedly smiled at him, and then walked around the bar of the Leaky Cauldron, and he came to a small patio with walls on all sides.

He took out his bamboo wand and tapped lightly on the wall; Diagon Alley appeared in front of him, and Jon walked in calmly.

First, he touched the few silver siko in his pocket, and then went straight to Gringotts.

He was received by a strange goblin through the gleaming bronze gate.

The goblin bent down humbly: "Hello, sir... Excuse me, do you need my help?"

"Of course!" Jon bowed his head: "I'm Jon Hart, a second-year student at Hogwarts, and I need to exchange £500 for Galleons now!"

"It's only June 15th..." The goblin raised her head, rolled her eyes, and said slowly, "Mr. Hart, generally... Muggle-born wizards won't come to Guling until August. Exchange their gold Galleons."

Jon frowned, and said coldly: "I want to exchange 100 gold Galleons every year, it should be an agreement between you Gringotts and Hogwarts!"

"Of course, yes, Mr. Hart...don't be angry!" The goblin had an ugly smile on her face: "After all, withdrawing money in advance will always be a bit troublesome, isn't it..."

Its voice was suddenly low, almost in Jon's ear: "Of course, if you can provide a small fee, everything will be a lot easier?"

"How much do you want?" Jon asked calmly.

"It only takes five Galleons... The procedure will be much simpler... Mr. Hart, what do you think?" The goblin's voice sounded quite seductive.

A mere hundred Galleons, this goblin actually wants to take five cents of interest... Jon suppressed the anger in his heart, and then glanced at the nameplate on the goblin's chest.

Seeing the name of "Griphook", a sneer appeared on his face: "Okay, I promise you!"

An envelope containing ten £50 notes was thrown into Gripper's hand, who skillfully took out a bag of gold coins, took five from it, and put it in his pocket.

"Happy cooperation, Mr. Hart!" The same ugly smile appeared on his face again.

"Hmph, thank you..." Jon left Gringotts without looking back.

...

Diagon Alley in June is not as busy as the end of July.

Coupled with the fact that the sky is getting late, there are not many wizards on the streets now.

Jon filled a pocket full of gold coins and looked around casually; while no one was around, he sneaked into a small alley.

Then, he took out a small bottle of compound decoction from his pocket, closed his eyes, and drank it in one gulp.
