This is a true patron saint.

Compared with his own dull and lazy juvenile iron-eating beast, its size is much larger; and it is much more flexible and graceful in its movements.

The image of the patron saint is an adult deer.

However, it does not have the sharp and huge antlers of the stag. Instead, it has two triangular ears.

So to be more precise, it's a silver doe.

The Dementor, which was just about to approach Astoria, fled as fast as a sheep saw a wolf... In just a few seconds, it exited the car door and floated back into the air.

Not just this one dementor, almost all dementors were affected by this silver doe, and they all started to leave the train. In the sky, countless black shadows can be seen flying away.

Jon hurriedly put away his wand and flashlight and held onto Astoria.

She was completely unconscious and fell into a coma.

Jon helped her up, and the silver doe had disappeared.

Then, Severus Snape in a black robe broke in.

He just glanced at the compartment, and then said coldly, "Take her and follow me!"

Jon hurriedly put Astoria on his back, she was light enough to carry on his back without difficulty; following Snape's footsteps, they walked down the aisle.

The aisles were scattered across the aisle, and all kinds of suitcases were scattered, all of which were the turmoil caused by the forced parking of the Dementors just now.

Professor Snape waved his wand lightly, and the suitcases returned to the compartments, making way for them.

After crossing a dozen compartments to the front of the train, the train restarted.

Unsteady for a moment, Jon almost fell to the ground with Astoria, but an invisible force seemed to hold them up in time.

"Be careful!" Professor Snape shouted sternly, and continued walking forward without looking back.

...

After a few minutes, they came to a compartment in the front of the car.

This compartment, almost twice the size of the other compartments.

Like Snape's office, it was filled with all kinds of bottles and jars.

I saw Snape wave his wand, and a hammock appeared in the open space in the compartment.

Jon quickly carried Astoria on his back and put it on the hammock.

Then, a silver flame suddenly appeared beside them. A very soft flame, not a trace of burning, only a touch of warmth, Jon noticed that Astoria's eyelids began to tremble slightly.

"Hart, come and help me!" Snape ordered roughly. "Help me take out the roots of valerian, peppermint, and daisy."

Then, a cauldron appeared in front of Snape, and at the same time he had added half a bottle of glycerin to it.

Although Snape's herb rack looked messy, the herbs were arranged regularly according to the type and initials; so Jon didn't spend too much time finding those herbs.

"Grind the valerian root into powder, and cut the daisy root into pieces!" Snape commanded while swiftly operating in his hands.

Out of the corner of Jon's eyes, he noticed Snape's movements.

This was almost the first time Jon had seen Professor Snape concoct potions, and he had hardly ever demonstrated in potions classes before.

And Jon now finally understands why Severus Snape is a little-known potions master across Europe.

He's extremely skilled, and every step of the way is just right... The herb peppermint, known for its instability, has become extremely well-behaved in his cauldron.

Originally, Jon still felt that he had some talent in potions and was a little complacent; seeing him today made him realize that there was still a qualitative gap between him and the real potions master.

Several medicinal materials have been added to the crucible one after another...

Just a quarter of an hour later, Snape's potion was ready, although Jon didn't know what potion it was.

Astoria also gradually woke up, her face was abnormally pale.

"Let her drink it!" The pot of light blue potion was placed in a glass bottle and floated into Jon's hand.

Jon hurried to the hammock, through the silver flames, and supported Astoria.

"Drink!" he said softly.

Astoria nodded obediently, then frowned and drank the potion from the bottle little by little.

All I could hear was a violent cough—

Her pale face turned red again.

"Professor Snape..." she said softly.

"Mrs. Greengrass wrote to me." Severus Snape said coldly, "She said there might be a Dementor stopping the car today, so she asked me to look after you!"

Snape paused and continued, "But I didn't expect that you weren't in the same cubicle with your sister, Miss Greengrass!"

"Sorry, Professor Snape..." Astoria bowed her head.

"As for you, Hart!" Snape ignored her, and turned his sharp eyes to Jon: "Dumbledore told me more than a month ago, let me teach you how to use it when I have time. Patronus Charm..."

"But obviously you should have learned...though I don't know who taught you; but I promise, the lame and crippled 'patron saint' you summoned is guaranteed to shame him!" Snape said nothing. You're welcome sarcastically.

Jon also had to bow his head obediently.

"Listen, Hart!" snapped Snape. "The Headmaster wants me to teach you the Patronus Charm, so you went to my office this Saturday afternoon to understand?"

"I understand Professor!"

"Then now, get out of here!"

Astoria has stepped out of the cubicle.

Jon was about to leave when he suddenly had an idea and turned around: "Professor, the one who saved us before should be your patron saint; it seems to be a..."

"That's a goat!" Snape roared. "Get out!"

Then, he roughly pushed Jon out of the cubicle and slammed the door shut.
