The Legend of Honghuang Erlang

Chapter 820 After a hundred and five years of catastrophe, Xuanzang encountered a foreign demon

As they departed, they heard the wailing of all spirits;

With a glimpse of surprise, he saw the situation where God Pangu stood upright, transformed into all things, and evolved the way of heaven.

Tianyan Daozi was conceived in the Dao of Heaven that was born after the fall of the god Pangu. He respected Pangu as the father god because Pangu was really a father to him.

Riding the chaotic clock, walking down the long river of time, scenes of light and shadow turned into streamers, and in a short while, they returned to the time and space when they left.

The strange Dao that shrouded Yang Jian's body finally disappeared, and it also reminded Yang Jian that he could speak freely without being affected by such Dao...

Tianyan Daozi sighed softly, obviously a little depressed.

"Sorry," Yang Jian said sideways, "I want you to accompany me to those years."

"It's okay, no matter when, I want to go to those years after all, but unfortunately I can only go once," Daozi Tianyan brushed against the wall of the Chaos Clock, sighed softly, and then showed his usual smile.

"Shall I send you back to Xuandu City for retreat?"

"There's no need to go back to Xuandu City," Yang Jian said, "I'll just retreat outside the Great Desolation. Here, it's easier to experience the Dao rhyme left by God Pangu."

"Alright, then I don't care about you."

Tianyan Daozi bowed to Yang Jian, and Yang Jian made a salute to Tianyan Daozi, watching the Daoist saint disappear holding the chaotic clock.

Then, Yang Jian turned around and flew towards the sky. Almost as soon as he flew out of the prehistoric border and entered the void between the prehistoric and chaotic sea, he immediately sat down cross-legged.

Epiphany...

This is actually not an epiphany, after all, it was inspired by God Pangu.

Most of Yang Jian's mind was immersed in practicing and enlightening, but a small part of his mind was still active, as if he was dreaming after falling asleep.

In the dream, he seemed to have gone to the age of Taisu, and had a drink and chat with the unsanctified god Pan Gu, and had a close friendship.

Although they were born at different times, there is this inheritance of Xuangong. The connection between Yang Jian and God Pangu may not be shallower than that between Daozi Tianyan and God Pangu.

Gradually, Yang Jian devoted all his attention to enlightenment, and the mysterious energy around him filled him, allowing him to blend into the void, which even ordinary monks could not see.

At this time, there are still a hundred years before Journey to the West will start, and Yang Jian directly retreats to practice. Judging by this posture, Journey to the West is too lazy to take care of too many things, and he wants to push the two methods to the door of the Saint Realm at the same time.

Yang Jian had just retreated here, and Daozi Tianyan had already returned to the emptiness, sitting on his own futon with a slumped face, and stayed quietly for a while.

"What's wrong?"

Master Tongtian walked over with his hands behind his back, and looked at Tianyan Daozi with a smile, "Is there anything else that can stop you?"

Tianyan Daozi just forced a smile and didn't answer anything.

Master Tongtian summoned his futon, sat down opposite Tianyan Daozi, and asked, "Did you take Yang Jian to Tiandichupi?"

"you saw it?"

"That's right, suddenly I have some vague memories about Yang Jian and you," Tongtian Cult Master tapped his forehead with his slender fingers like a musician, "Father God once taught Yang Jian for a while, but this memory is too vague, so I can't tell if it is Yang Jian today."

"It's today," Daozi Tianyan replied, took a wine glass from the Master Tongtian, and drank for himself.

Master Tongtian didn't say much, and he was drinking by himself. It seemed that the two of them were drinking their own boring wine and had no intention of joining the table.

"What happened to Beihai?" Tianyan Daozi asked suddenly.

"It's nothing," the leading Taoist replied, and then continued to practice with his eyes closed.

Master Tongtian said with a smile: "Now the two sides are competing for half a day's time. It's a pity that the strongest man is recovering from his injuries, and we want to train a new strongest man."

Tianyan Daozi said in a low voice: "This is already the only way to protect Honghuang."

"Of course I know, and I'm full of confidence in Yang Jian." The corner of Tongtian's mouth twitched slightly, "But, don't we all feel that Yang Jian is indebted to Yang Jian by doing so? Does he have too many burdens? To be honest, we are just shrugging off our burdens, and we don't have any confidence to take them up."

"Good," Lao Tzu said slowly, "Although there is a debt, there is no other way."

"I have seen the big brother."

"Meet the sage of Taiqing."

Master Tongtian and Daozi Tianyan saluted at the same time, I nodded and didn't say anything more.

It was Yuanshi Tianzun who said: "No matter what, Yang Jian is my disciple of teaching. If things can't be done in the future, I will try my best to protect his fire."

Master Tongtian also nodded slightly: "Yes, Yang Jian is indeed much more useful than you and me."

In the clouds and mist in the distance, Master Yuding heard this, but he didn't open his mouth to argue for his disciples. Instead, he sat there thoughtfully, feeling the meaning of other saints.

Chat a few words, silent for a long time.

Lao Tzu suddenly said: "The matter of Beihai will change in no more than 150 years. Fellow Daoists, you should also prepare for what you need to do."

"One hundred and fifty years?" The Master Tongtian couldn't help but get excited.

"That's right, it's faster than we expected," Lao Tzu looked at Tian Yan Dao Zi, "Where are Xi He and Lu Ya?"

"It's all ready," Tianyan Daozi replied casually, and the chaotic clock in his hand spun gently, revealing two figures in a large hall.

The peerless and independent woman in white stood in front of the window looking at the garden, while Taoist Lu Ya, who had a somewhat violent face, was honing his magical powers in the corner, with seven or eight baby gourds beside him.

After dispelling these situations, Tianyan Daozi talked with several saints again, all about the various layouts for dealing with the army of the most powerful.

These few powerful men who were at the peak of their prehistoric cultivation had begun to feel a little nervous now.

...

Time flies, when it is really in a hurry.

Monkey King is destined to be suppressed for five hundred years, and four hundred and fifty or sixty years have passed in the blink of an eye.

As early as hundreds of years ago at the Buddhist Yulan Basin meeting, Jin Chanzi, a disciple of Tathagata, contradicted Tathagata, argued with Tathagata, and was directly thrown into the world by Tathagata to experience catastrophe.

When the monkey was suppressed at the foot of Wuzhi Mountain, he had no idea how many things had happened around him.

Jin Chanzi was severely punished by the Tathagata, and had to be reincarnated to practice for ten lives. Every time, he had a dream in his heart-to travel to the west to learn, to retrieve the Mahayana Buddhist scriptures, and to save the suffering in the world.

And nine times in the previous nine lives, this golden cicada was able to walk to the Liusha River through hardships and dangers, and was swallowed by the fierce man who jumped out of the Liusha River, leaving only the skull as a collection and wearing it into a skull necklace.

Finally, in the 468th year when Monkey King was suppressed, the tenth Jin Chanzi was born on the border of Hezhou, Xiniu.

Due to an accident at home, the baby golden cicada was placed in a wooden basin and drifted eastward along the river, and was picked up by an old monk and brought back to the temple to be raised.

A baby floated on the river for tens of thousands of miles, and finally successfully reached the middle land... If it wasn't for the mischief of those Buddhists, no one would believe it.

The baby was named Jiang Liu'er, and he had been taught in temples since he was a child. He could recite Buddhist scriptures at the age of three, and he could recite dozens of Buddhist scriptures backwards at the age of five.

Therefore, when he was nine years old, he was ordained by the presiding officer of the temple, entered Buddhism, and became a little monk.

The young monk meditates every day, debates scriptures and memorizes texts, and occasionally goes down the mountain with his master for alms.

There is no way, the handsome young monk is also quite lovable.

Originally, the little monk Xuanzang would grow up step by step according to the script in his body, study Buddhism intensively, and then embark on a journey to the west, start a long journey, and finally achieve the right result.

The Buddhist sect is also quite reassured about Xuanzang, even though they have arranged several masters to protect him secretly, these old monks are not diligent and often make mistakes.

Because of this, when Xuanzang was thirteen years old, a not-so-big accident happened to him like this...

On that day, Xuanzang had a dream.

In the dream, he was in a big temple with golden light, and there were Buddha lights everywhere, and there were scenes of bodhisattvas flying into the sky.

A figure flew from the sky, landed at the foot of the mountain, and climbed up the stairs; all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in the great temple were startled and stopped outside the mountain gate.

But everyone seemed to be quite afraid, they didn't dare to take action against this man who couldn't see his face clearly, they kept speaking and debating, and they kept getting beaten back...

Finally, here he is.

The young man smiled at him and asked a question.

‘You Buddhists have a saying that if you put down the butcher’s knife, you will immediately become a Buddha. Dare I ask, where do these words put those souls who are devoted to the Buddha and do good deeds but suffer inexplicable suffering, and even can barely reincarnate as adults? '

Where is it placed...

Xuanzang fell into hard thinking. In his sleep, he began to toss and turn, and finally sat up suddenly.

It was daylight outside.

Xuanzang was sweating profusely without realizing it, so he turned over from the bed, went to the side of the face frame and wanted to wash his face, but he looked up at the bronze mirror, but his heart trembled again.

In the bronze mirror, a young monk in a white cassock was looking at him with a smile.

Turning around suddenly, there was nothing behind him, and when Xuanzang looked at the bronze mirror again, the man was already standing behind him, with only half of his figure exposed.

"You, who are you?"

Xuanzang's body almost froze.

He only heard the voice of the little monk in white in the mirror sounding from the bottom of his heart, "Me? I am the one who has come to reveal the face of Buddhism to you. Don't you have many doubts in your heart? Tell me, and I will answer you."

"Why should I trust you?"

"You already believe it, don't you? Look at my outfit, but you still don't know my identity? The Buddhist sect recognized me as Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva, but they don't even know that I am the most feared demon in the sky. The Buddha you believe in is totally vulnerable; the thoughts you hold are actually mediocre."

Xuanzang's face was pale, and the demon in the mirror was laughing wildly, but he kept retreating and sat down on the ground.
