Then, as the blood fell upon the magical items, they started to shine in a intense manner and float around Merlin as if they were loyal pets.

Merlin could feel a cool and light sensation inside his c.h.e.s.t, as a invisible bounding occurred between himself and the magical items. Now, he knew that he could control them at ease and summon them at will.

After the ritual was done, it was time to realize his first magical ability. Opening the book in the first page of the Mapping part, Merlin started to analyze the first magic described there.

It was called Mapping, and it used a bit of his astral Qi together with the magical items to quickly make a simple map of an area. The more detailed it was, more astral Qi was needed.

For now, Merlin could only create the simplest maps possible, but he still wanted to test it out.

As so, with a wave of his hands, his new souls tools appeared in front of him. One had to know that upon bounding soul tools, they would transform into energy manner and stay inside one's Qi center; in Merlin's case, his first inner star.

Holding the s.e.xtant with his right hand, Merlin controlled the three metal ball to fly as distant as possible with his current power. Then, picking up the book with his left hand, Merlin started to chant. At the beginning, complex magic like this one needed the help of the book to remember.

"By the boundless stars in the sky and the power of the mighty Suns and Moons, I command the nocturne darkness to follow my orders and full fit my wishes!" (in a strange language)

When he finished the chat, a lot of Qi was absorbed from his inner star. Then, he rapidly tossed the book to the ground and picked up a clean paper from the backpack. Meanwhile, the s.e.xtant floated in the air, pointing the the metal ball and the stars as it mysteriously calculated unknown things.

About after 15 minutes, the paper sheet sudden floated from Merlin's hand to the dark sky, as apparently the darkness of the night was used as ink to imprint lots of information upon it.

After the magic was over, the magical items once more returned to Merlin's inner star and the paper floated back to his hands. However, before Merlin could have a look, he passed out from exhaustion.

An unknown amount of time later, the night was extremely cold, and the whole pavilion was in a deep silent. Only some guards were awake, doing their guard around the limits of the school.

Suddenly, above the roof of the Navigation Administrative Building, a kid woke up in a jump, feeling the cold breeze of the dawn invading his body. Looking around, he rapidly searched the paper sheet next to him, afraid of it flying away.

However, it seemed to be too late. Looking in the horizon, he saw a little paper floating in the wind above the roof neaby. Rapidly jumping in a vivid manner, Merlin launched himself through the night, chasing the paper around the roofs.

As he passed dashing silently, Merlin saw the paper going in the direction of an previously unknown place for him. It was a courtyard inside the perimeter of the school, but it was out of any of the three pavilions.

However, Merlin did not want to loose his hard work to the wind, having no option if not risk a bit to get back the paper. Although he could simply try another time, what would happened if someone discovered that there were people doing clandestine maps of a military institution?

As the paper was above the middle of the courtyard, Merlin suddenly gave a rapid jump at the border of the roof, stretching his arm at the maximum. His plan was to "fly" fast above the courtyard, so that nobody saw him. However, as he jumped from the border, the part he took momentum broke.

Although he got the paper back, his happiness did not last long since he fell inside the courtyard. However, for his luck, or not, Merlin fell inside a big pool of hot water. Sadly, the paper was destroyed upon entering the water, and now he was somewhere he probably should not be.

Rapidly looking around, he heard steps coming from a door next by. From what it looked, he was in a beautiful yard, filled with all types of plants and sculptures, with a hot pool in the middle.

Since he did not have time to get out and hide, Merlin's only option was to swim to a corner and dive down, holding his breath. As so, as he did that, somebody else entered the water. Though the water was boiling, Merlin was sweeting cold.

What would happen to him if he got caught!? He was imagining how he would be beaten and then expelled from the school, or even worst, get exiled from the country.

However, as time passed slowing, Merlin was getting out of air. Although he could hold his breath for a long time beneath water, everything had limits. As he could not hold on any more, he choose to accept his destiny.

Emerging slowly from the water, he looked at the direction of the person who entered. From what it looked, it was a woman... From behind, she had long and dark hairs, as well as a gorgeous body and silk-like white skin.

Surprisedly, as he emerged, the beautiful girl turned around, looking curiously of what could have invaded this secluded space of her. What she saw was a tall kid, with a light bronzed skin and profound green eyes.

What Merlin saw were a pair of perfect b.o.o.b.s, together with the girl's attractive face features and profound blue eyes.

"AHHHH!"

The girl shouted as she tried to cover up her body and get out of the pool. Merlin, panicking because of the situation, grabbed her arm and tried to calm her down.

"Here, I'm so so sorry! It wasn't my intention to get here, seriously. I was just in my nocturne walk through the roof when I suddenly fell here, seriously."

As he tried to explain himself, Merlin rapidly called upon his astral Qi from his inner star and without hesitation injected it at the girls forehead. Although he did not know what would happen, this was the only thing he came up in the moment of dispare.

For his surprise, upon receiving the astral Qi attack, the girl fell in a deep and peaceful sleep. It was then that Merlin heard a loud masculine shout from the house.

Without thinking to much, Merlin carefully placed the girl nearby the pool's stairs and gave a superhuman jump, reaching the roofs border. Pushing himself up, Merlin once more dashed like lighting away from the mysterious courtyard, never again to come back; probably.

However, he could no deny that the girl really got his attention. It would not be that bad to come back for a observation visit, who knows?

Putting those thoughts away from his mind, Merlin rapidly headed to his pavilion's territory.

Moment later, back at the courtyard, the girl woke up in a jump, as a robust middle aged man arrived at her side, filled with rage.

"Sarah, my baby girl, what happened !!? Just tell daddy, and I'll destroy anyone who dares to mess with you!"

Looking confused, the girl searched through the yard, only to find anyone besides her super protective father. Concluding that everything was a strange dream, she gave a little smile.

"Relax daddy, I just had a bad dream, that's all."

Upon hearing his daughter, the robust man calmed down as he gave a kiss at her cheek.

"Alright sweetie, but be careful these days since father is going out for an important mission for the king."

After that, the robust and tall man exited the courtyard, leaving the girl relaxing in the hot pools. As he relaxed in the hot water, her imagination went wild with the attractive man who mysteriously appeared in her dreams. It was as if she could almost feel the he was there little time ago.

Meanwhile, at the other side of the school, Merlin was calmly lying down at his hard bed, remembering about the gorgeous lady he encountered today. However, he kind of knew that she had a little complicated background, inaccessible for the time being.

Placing everything to the back of his mind, Merlin once more sat down crossed legged and started to cultivate his astral Qi mantra, acc.u.mulating Qi and solidifying even further his first inner star, slowly rising his cultivation.

Tomorrow would be the first day of recruitment of their force and to build a powerful one, strength was needed.
