Five years have passed since Elsie's dead, after the event, Kara developed a trauma of heights she can't go to even the roof of her house without getting scared to death because every time she did she remembers Elsie's lifeless and bleeding face

Aside from that a week later from the incident the secret about Kara's body had spread in the city saying that the one who drinks her blood or takes her vɨrġɨnɨtƴ will turn into a being more powerful than even the Heroes and demons could reach, Kein and the Captain doesn't know when and who reveled the truth but the Captain is completely sure that it wasn't Elsie who did that despite Kein insisting that she was the one who done it

Some people came to the city just to find a way to confirm that and eventually some even tried to kidnap Kara but all of them were kicked out or were killed by the Captain that now has become an Inmortal Warrior so only a few can be a match for him

Kara has been locked in the mansion by her father unable to come out even to the garden alone she has to ha the Captain with her at all moment, that made Kara lonlier and she even started to hate her father and the Captain that keep her locked

On her 14 birthday, Kein gave Kara something really precious to him, her mother's daily, Kara was surprised by that but she took it gladly with a rare smile surprising Kein that never saw her smile since she was a little girl but that made him very happy

Kara passed every day reading her mother's dairy and wanting to meet that woman named Selene that her mother called her sister multiple times in her dairy but she never tried to ask her father to let her go to search for her until one day she was sitting on a bed reading her mother's daily with a calm face

Shokan city, 5 Years ago

Kara now has 15 years, she still has her long azure hair that reaches her waist, but now she looks even more beautiful with her body still growing but now her beauty could be lethal for any young man that could see her

Kara wears a light blue long dress with white sandals as she is sitting in her bed, she puts down the old book to close it and put it beside her, then she embraces her knees and thinks ' I should try to ask my father to let me go? I can ask the Captain to escort me until I could find her but... '

She saw her father reading on a sofa then she makes a small sigh and walks towards him to say " Father, can I ask you something? "

Kein puts dawn on the book and turns to see Kara with a small smile " What is it, Kara? "

Kara makes a pledging expression and says " I want to go to search for my mother's sworn sister, Selene "

" ..... " Kein keep watching Kara's face with a calm face then he stands and walks to the window to say her " Sorry, Kara, you have to wait "

Kara was expecting that kind of answer from her father but she still feels angered so she yells " Why father!? just let the Captain escort me! "

Kein turns to see Kara with a calm face and shakes his head " No, Kara, I'm sorry "

Suddenly Kara begins to yell even more loudly as she starts to cry " THEN IF YOU DON'T WANT TO LET ME I WILL LEAVE BY MYSELF! I'M TIRED TO BE HERE WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING! "

Kein's anger grow when he heard Kara said that then he yelled at her " HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN WHAT HAPPENED WHEN YOU TRIED TO ESCAPE THE LAST TIME?! "

" ...!? " Kara shivered with her crying eyes open in surprise

Kara bites her lower lip with frustration then she turns around and yells " I HATE YOU! " as she runs crying towards her room

*SIGH* Kein watched Kara leave as she was crying but he didn't go after her after he already found Selene and send her a letter to make her come here, the reason why he hasn't told Kara that, is because he isn't sure that she will come, so he doesn't want to break her hopes ' Please come ' he thought to watch through the window with clenching fists

After a week later Kara hasn't spoken with her father, then one day...

Kein knocks on Kara's door a few times as he says her with a happy voice " Kara, please come out, I have a surprise for you "

" .... " Kara only frowned seeing the door but she still comes out, she opens the door but she was crossing her arms and avoiding seeing him to the eyes

Kein only smiled at her wryly and says " Come with me, Kara " and he walks away

She walked after Kein to the living room on the first floor and there she saw a beautiful woman with long fire red hair, blue eyes, and wearing a dark red robe, near her was a wooden staff with a red Jewell on the top, Kara wondered who was her and why her father was so eager to present her

The woman stands to show Kara a beautiful and melancholic smile then she says " Hi little brat, my name is Selene, your mother's former partner "

Kara opens her eyes with surprise then she turns to see her father and when he nods with a smile, Kara turns to see her with excitement and bows her head keeping her huge smile " Nice to meet you! my name is Kara "

" Haha, I already know who you are, dumb brat, so you don't need to present yourself, " Said Selene with a beautiful smile then she turns to see Kein and says with a smiling face " Now, Kein, as we agreed I will take this brat with me "

" Eh? " Kara opens her eyes with surprise seeing Selene then she turns to see her father keeping her surprised expression

Kein turns to see Kara with a small smile on his face " That's right, Kara, Selene will take you to the Magic Academy in the Slyorn Empire " that's when Kara jumped to hug her father with a wide smile on her beautiful face, then she whispers " Thank you "

Selene watches them interact with a smile then she says " Now little brat we will leave tomorrow, it's a long way to the Slyorn Empire " Kara stops hugging her father and sees Selene with a smile and says " Yes "

The next morning Kara and Selene traveled to the Slyorn Empire together with a bunch of knights that came with Selene, on the way Selene tried to teach the basics of fire magic to Kara but it was all theory so she never tried to control her blue fire, after all, Selene didn't want her to practice that until they reach the Empire, also Selene gave Kara a gift that made Kara extremely happy it was the pillow that her mother used when she was an adventurer, despite that the pillow looks old and has some holes in it, Kara loved it and used every time she went to sleep. After a week of traveling, they finally arrived at the Empire

" Amazing! " Said Kara with a smile seeing the Empire gates, walls, Behemoths, and Wyverns flying in the sky, Selene watched her with a smile and they entered the Empire

Then they arrived at the Academy where Selen and Kara went straight to the training grounds there Kara put into practice all she learned from Selene the week they traveled

Kara was hoping that this time she will be able to control her powers but despite that, she only managed to control her blue fire for a few seconds before she ended getting burned by it again, at least this time she only suffered a burn mark on her right arm

Kara watched her burned hand with frustration as she bites her lower lip, Selene approached her to pat her head " Kara, your previous failures were because you haven't grown up enough, but this time is different, there is a problem with your feelings and until you don't get rid of that problem you will never be able to control your powers, after all, the magic you will use requires a strong body and a peaceful mind "

Kara watched Selene and lost all the hope she had to control her powers but she still showed Selene a smile and nods " Yes, master, I will try "

Selene nods and says " Good, now we need to heal that injury in your arm now " then she pulls her to the small house near the training grounds, there Selene grabbed a healing potion to cure Kara's arm and she starts to put on a bandage around her arm

As she was doing that Selene said to Kara " Kara you can't let anyone here see your blood, if they ever saw you bleed we could get into trouble " making Kara shiver a little then she continues " This place is full of nobles even some princes and princesses came here, most of them are very arrogant, the good thing is that this place has everything you could need to control your powers "

Kara nods and waits until Selene ends to involve her arm with a bandage " Now, you want to eat something? " Asked Selene with a smile making Kara nod again

Kara is now 19 years old. She has become a very beautiful young woman, capable of charm any man who sees her, her body was more mȧturėd with very alluring curves, her hair is still long as it reaches her waist

Kara had a few men chasing her outside the Academy but no one inside seemed to do that even after how beautiful she has become in fact its the opposite they seemed to ignore her all because of her background and other circumstances

Most of those circumstances were caused by a young woman, Jasmin, who kept pestering Kara from the first day she saw her. Jasmin is Duke Dewitt's daughter who is one of the most important people of the Empire only below those of the Royal family so she healds a greater position than Selene and her, the other problem is another young woman, Leah

Leah is a 24 year old tall woman (around 1.80) she has snow-white skin with a hourglass body that every young man in the academy want to have in their arms, She has silver and curly long hair that she brushes above her left shoulder, her face is very beautiful with a small nose, small pink lips, thin silver eyebrows and light pink eyes with long eyelashes, the only problem that she has is that she always has a fierce expression on that angelical face of hers combined that with her sarcastically and cold smile made her to most respected and feared woman in the academy despite being the most beautiful as well. Leah is the 1st princess of the Slyorn Empire, and a very close friend of one of Jasmin's sisters, also she is the strongest in the academy, having almost the same strength as Selene but the difference between them is that she is a Magic Swordsman and Selene a Fire Mage, besides Leah have always hated Selene for an unknown reason, so when Selene stays in the Academy she will ask her father to give Selene a mission or something to keep her far away from there

Things never get easy for Kara after all she can't fight back, not because she can't control her powers yet is because if she gets injured her secret will be revealed, Kara made the decision to stay quiet and obey everything they say at least until she can control her powers

Six months ago

Kara hasn't seen any progress in her training, nothing at all, so she decided that its time to give up and go come back to her home despite that she loves Selene as a mother she can't control that curse of hers no matter how hard she tried

Selene was a little sad hearing Kara but still, she decided to do as she wants and she will take her back to her home, it seems that she doesn't know what happened with Kara and the other students while she isn't in the Academy but despite that Kara doesn't wouldn't want her to intervene in that, after all, she isn't a noble so fighting or messing with those who bully her won't be a good idea, so she just wanted to go home and live a peaceful life there even if it's like a life of a bird in a cage

A week has passed since Kara came back from the Slyorn Empire, at the start his father was very happy to see her but despite she greet him with a smile He could felt that she wasn't the same it was like she had lost something

Kein wanted an explanation of what happened to his daughter but he was stopped by Kara after Selene left Kein asked her what is wrong with her just to hear that all was fine making a fake smile Kein just hug her tighly for a while

Kara went to her room after that she was standing in front of her window observing the city outside repeating again and again " This is right, this right " as tears of pain streamed from her beautiful eyes
