Fifty-Six: Investigation and Pleasure

Lothar walked with a limp, a heavy shackle was tied to his left foot, and the iron ball dragged his steps.

“Lax, let’s discuss it.” Lothar asked Lax with a wry smile, “Can you change me to a lighter ball? I’m dead.”

Lacus walked briskly, and seemed to be in a good mood. She patted the bunch of keys hanging on the back of her waist, and said apologetically, “This is already the lightest. Although I believe in you, I still have to show Judge Giselle.”

“Look at your worthless appearance.” Olaf sneered at Lothar mercilessly, “Look at me, there is a guy bigger than you tied to both feet!”

As he said that, Olaf triumphantly swung the heavy iron ball to his toes, flipping the ball easily.

Lacus was dumbfounded.

“Don’t pay attention to him, he’s a pervert.” Lothar patted Lacus on the shoulder.

“This iron ball can’t even be pulled by a cow…” Lacus looked at Olaf as if he was looking at a monster, and then whispered to Lothar in Demacia, “Is he your subordinate?”

“Well… barely.” Lothar remembered that he had been with Olaf for so long, and that this rebellious Lokfar warrior had never really respected himself and Ashe.

“Reluctantly,” Lacus asked vigilantly, “What if he goes crazy and hurts the townspeople?”

“It’s okay, I know how to take care of him.” Lothar comforted Lacus, and comforted herself by the way.

“What are you two chattering about?” Olaf interrupted dissatisfiedly, “Speak in Freljord! Otherwise, I won’t understand!”

Lothar coughed twice: “It’s nothing, I’m discussing what to have for lunch.”

“Then why are you so mysterious! I want to eat meat!”

Led by Lacus, Lothar and Olaf came to a house noisily.

“This is the home of Judge Giselle.” Lacus took down the key and opened the door. “Her son Luca disappeared at home. Judge Giselle found that he disappeared in the room when Judge Giselle woke up in the morning.”

“Isn’t Judge Giselle the only one of us?” Lothar asked.

“She still has a lot of things to deal with, and she doesn’t have time to get away, so I’ll take care of it.” Lax explained over and over as she pushed open the door, “Come in, just don’t mess with things.”

Lothar and Olaf looked around the room curiously. The decoration was very simple, but there were still some decorative oil paintings.

“It’s so fucking beautiful.” Olaf seemed to like a vase very much. He had never seen such a thing before, and kept circling around it.

Lothar looked around and said to Lacus, “It’s not as luxurious as the place you lived in when you were young.”

Lacus smiled: “Although the Crownguard family doesn’t like extravagance, they are indeed very rich.”

Lothar followed Lacus to a door.

“The westernmost room on the first floor, yes, this is where Luca disappeared.” Lacus pushed open the door, and it was a very ordinary room. Plain sheets and wallpaper, a small desk, and some toys like wooden swords and wooden horses.

“Judge Giselle said that after Luca disappeared, no one has touched this room.Lux said, “It’s up to you next.” ”

Lothar took a deep breath. The room was filled with the smell of wood. There were a lot of debris beside a wooden barrel and a small chisel.

“It seems that this Luka likes to make wooden toys by himself.” Lothar picked up a wooden sword, and made a gesture twice. “I really miss it. When I was a child, I also liked to make this kind of toys by myself.”

Lux thought of Lothar’s tent, and said with a smile: “You call those tools that can tear apart a whole head of teeth a toy.”

“Well… I didn’t have much fun to look for when I was young, so I fiddled with these things myself.” Lothar put down the wooden sword and started to walk around the room.

Lacus looked at Lothar’s back, and was silent for a while: “Rorschach, have you been… well these few years?”

Lothar touched the edge of the bed on the balcony, and said, “It’s okay, I have some food and some clothes, and I’m still alive. In the Freljord, it’s not bad that I can live to my age and still be alive and kicking.”

“But your hand…” Lacus looked at the empty sleeve on Lothar’s right arm, with a look of regret in her eyes.

“You’re talking about that.” Lothar flicked his sleeves, “It’s actually not a problem.”

“How can you not get in the way!” Lux said excitedly, “Aren’t you a hunter! How can you draw your bow like this…”

Seeing Lothar looking at her in surprise, Lax realized that she seemed to have overreacted.

“Ahem…” Lacus coughed twice to cover up her embarrassment, “How did your hand…be broken?”

Lothar smiled wryly: “Well… this is a very, very long story. I’ll tell you slowly when we have the opportunity to settle the matter at hand.”

“Hmm…” Seeing that Lothar didn’t want to say anything for the time being, Lacus didn’t force her to ask.

“How have you been these past few years?” Lothar leaned down and looked under the bed. “But I can probably guess it. Seeing that you look so beautiful, you must be living a very nourishing life.”

Hearing that Luo Sa praised her beauty, Lacus was a little happy, and slowly wrapped her fingers around the ends of her hair: “Thanks to my parents and brother, they have protected me very well.”

“That’s pretty good.” Lothar stood up, and wiped the dust from his hands on his buttocks, “Have you fallen in love? Do you have a boy you like? How old are you Demacia? Are you coming to Freljo on your wedding day?” Germany got married when he was twelve or thirteen years old. You should be talking about marriage, right?”

Lacus’ eyes flickered, and she didn’t dare to look at Lothar: “Not yet… I haven’t been able to find a suitable one…”

“That’s right. You are still young, and you have a high position and authority in Demacia. You should think about it carefully.” Lothar began to stomp on every floor.

Lux suddenly felt as if she was a world away. She hadn’t seen this boy for so many years, but the reunion was not dramatic at all. There were no moved tears, no excited hugs, but here were a few words of pleasantries.

“We… have really changed…” Lux’s golden eyelashes drooped, and she said silently in her heart, “Maybe we can’t go back to the way we were when we were young…”

Lacus folded her arms tightly and squeezed out a smile: “I haven’t considered getting married yet, it’s too far away for me, just looking at the door of the wedding church makes me scared, and I can’t imagine what it will be like to be my wife… …”

After a pause, Lacus sneaked a glance at Lothar: “But if someone has the courage to propose to me… Maybe I can consider going to church with him…”

After stepping on the last floor, Lothar turned to Lacus and said, “Let’s go.”

“Ah.” Lacus brushed her hair behind her ears in a panic, her eyes wandering, “Is it too soon? First, we should date for a while…”

“What are you talking about?” Lothar looked at Lacus in confusion, “I’ve finished checking this room, so I can go.”

“Oh… oh oh!” Lux realized that she had misunderstood, the blush on her face directly stained her ears, and her voice was a little high, “The inspection is over! What did you find?”

Lothar gave Lacus a strange look, shrugged and said, “I didn’t find anything.”

Lux was stunned for a moment, apparently not expecting such an answer: “Didn’t you say that as long as Luka doesn’t grow wings and fly, you can track him?”

“Actually.” Lothar said with a serious expression, “It’s really possible that he flew away with long wings.”

dear uncle

I feel like I’m done.

After many investigations, I have a general understanding of the aristocratic composition of Demacia. Although the freedom of marriage is advocated in folk Demacia, in the noble circle, the marriage of children is basically arranged by parents and elders, so as to ensure the purity of noble blood.

In other words, I don’t have the slightest chance of catching Miss Laxana.

Sigh… Fate is really playing tricks on people. Unless I make great contributions in Demacia and get a title, I will never be able to become their nobleman in my life.

Actually, according to my personality, I won’t give up so quickly. You know, I’ve always been very lucky. But every time I find Miss Laxana alone and want to take the opportunity to get close to her, I can see her crying secretly. You haven’t seen that scene, and I really feel pity for it. I am so embarrassed that I dare not approach her.

The strange thing is, no matter how I searched, I couldn’t find what happened to Miss Laxana that made her so sad all the time.

Anyway, dear uncle, I plan to go back to Piltover for now, please send me the travel expenses.— Your handsome nephew, Ezreal
