: The Four Horror Legends of Bilgewater

Syndra was naked and squeezed into Lothar’s arms like a baby monkey perched on its mother’s stomach.

Nami helped Syndra open the can with a screwdriver, and Lothar ignited a dragon flame in his hand to help heat up all the canned fish, and the aroma of the fish filled the air.

“Thank you.” Nami took the hot canned white shrimp from Lothar, and looked at Lothar expectantly. “What are the four great horror legends?”

Lothar put a blanket on his back, wrapped himself and Syndra, and said with a smile: “Don’t worry, I’ll speak slowly. The first horror legend is related to the gluttonous market.”

“Speak quickly!” Syndra urged.

Lothar blew out the candle, leaving only one candle burning dimly, “Tam Kench, patron saint of the gluttonous market, some say he’s a catfish, some say he’s a toad, but he’s a Ridiculously fat guy with a hat and a big grin longer than a street, who can make earthquakes when he walks, and blows houses away when he yawns. Some people call him “Two Coats.”

“What do you mean by two coats?” Syndra asked while blowing on the hot fish on the spoon.

“It’s just that he is too fat to wear a coat, and he has to sew two coats together.” Lothar replied.

Nami suddenly raised her hand: “I’ve seen it, I’ve seen it! Is it a statue on the street!”

Lothar smiled and nodded: “There are many statues of Tam Kench in Bilgewater, all over the streets and alleys. Gluttony Market has built many sculptures for their patron saints.”

“But if he is the patron saint, shouldn’t he be a good person?” Nami asked doubtfully, “What does it have to do with terror?”

“Don’t worry, let me speak slowly…” Lothar’s figure became lowered, “A long time ago, there was a poor sailor in Bilgewater. He dreamed of getting rich overnight, but every morning he woke up. When I came over, all I saw was a place of empty wine bottles and onlyA few copper herrings left. ”

“Trash.” Syndra said.

“It’s so pitiful…” Nami said.

“He wanted to be rich so badly that Tahm Kench came to him. He said he could get the poor sailor a hundred gold sirens for just one of the poor sailor’s fingers. ”

“Ocean…” Nami tightened her fingers.

“What kind of stupid business is this?” Syndra snorted. “I can’t buy a single finger from me.”

“But that poor sailor didn’t think so. He had never seen ten gold sirens in his life, and he would never earn a hundred gold sirens, so he agreed to the deal.”

“Well…and then?” Nami pressed her hands tightly against her chest as if her fingers had been cut off.

“Tam Kench kept his promise. He really gave the poor sailor a hundred gold sirens. The poor sailor was able to buy a house of his own, married a beautiful wife, and gave birth to a fat boy.”

“Huh…” Nami heaved a sigh of relief.

“But shortly after the sailor got married, he found that the money was not enough.” Lothar said, “He wanted to give his family a bigger house, he wanted his wife to have better jewelry, and he wanted his son to go to school in Piltover. So he took the initiative to find Tam Kench again, and exchanged one finger for a hundred gold sirens.”

“What an idiot.” Syndra sneered.

“Spending money is like flowing water. Sailors keep exchanging money with their fingers, one, two… When they run out of fingers, they use their toes to exchange money. After many years, the sailor has nothing to give away. Sailor Regretted, he found two coats and begged him to stop this.”

“Then he…” Nami swallowed.

“Tam Kench laughed, said it would help the sailor solve all his troubles, and then swallowed the sailor alive.”

“Ocean…” Nami’s heart was beating wildly. She had never heard such a terrible story in her life.

“It deserves it.” Syndra was not frightened at all, but she liked Lothar’s storytelling, and patted his thigh and urged, “Next, next.”

“The second horror story is called [Ghosting of Blood Harbor].”

“Does Bloodport mean the slaughter dock?” Syndra asked.

“That’s right, no one knows who [Blood Harbor Ghost] is. Although he keeps appearing on the bounty board, and the bounty is almost 10,000 gold siren, no one can get his bounty.” Lothar said Thinking of the reward order he saw in the bounty, at that time he really did not expect that this ridiculously expensive reward list turned out to be a horror legend.

“10,000 gold siren…” Nami’s eyes widened. She now finally has some concepts about money, knowing that it is a lot of money.

“No one knows where this [Blood Harbor Ghost] came from, and no one knows his name. They only know that he is wandering in the alleys of the slaughter dock, asking around for people’s names.”

Syndra fed Lothar a piece of yellow peach: “What is the name?”

“It is said that he came here for revenge. He has a revenge list in his hand. As long as your name appears on his list, he will kill you.”

“Why? What is he seeking revenge for?” Nami asked curiously.

“It is rumored that [Blood Harbor Ghost] was once a sailor on a fishing boat named [Scary].” Lothar said, “But in an operation to kill sea beasts, he was killed by [Scary] Abandoned by his companions, buried in the sea.”

“So it’s reasonable for him to kill everyone on [Scary]. There’s nothing scary about it.” Syndra took it for granted.

“But…” Lothar said gloomyly, “Someone has searched the entire Bilgewater port entry records, and there has never been a ship named [Scary] docked.”

“Huh!” Nami’s fins stood up all over her body.

“Tch, are you afraid?” Syndra sneered, stretched out her long legs and kicked Nami’s tail.

“It’s… the first time I’ve heard this kind of story…” Nami looked around nervously, “I can’t stand this kind of weird story, it’s too tormenting. It’s better to just show up In front of me, I and the Rod of the Tidecaller will never be afraid!”

“Haha, it’s just a legend, maybe you won’t meet it in your life.” Syndra laughed.

“Don’t say it so early, many legends are true.” Lothar pinched Syndra’s nose.

“Have you ever seen the person in the legend?” Syndra bit Lothar’s finger unconvinced.

“Of course.” Lothar thought to himself, “I’ve seen many more.”
