The Lost Fruits

In the middle of the desert, Ace was heading towards the battlefield, the place where he delivered the supplies to last time. Genie came down and sat on Ace's shoulder in his hawk form.

"Man~ this some bullshit! I hope you're not having some funny ideas. I am not fighting nobody over there!" Genie said.

"Nobody told you to." Ace responded "...Not yet"

"Not yet my a.s.s, you better do all the fighting or just stay in the camp like a good man."

"Are you that scared of fighting?" Ace chuckled as he asked.

"Scared? hell yeah, I am scared!" Genie pokes Ace's ear with his beak "How do you think I was imprisoned in that lamp anyway?!"

"What? you were free before?" Ace's eyes widened in surprise. Now, this is new! he thought.

"Of course..." Genie looked at the horizon and sighed "Nobody is born a slave...In the past, I was free to go wherever I wanted, fly in the sky, dive in the oceans, live in the clouds...And all it took was a yellow jealous Genie to ruin it all."

"So, you got your a.s.s handed to you?"

"Damn right! hate to admit it though." Genie's voice shook as he remembered the battle of that time.

"I didn't expect that there would be more of your kind. especially free ones." Ace wondered how powerful could a free Genie be.

"three to be exact. me the blue one, then there is the red one and the yellow bastard." Genie continues. there can't be too many wish-granting creatures in one universe, so three is already over the limit.

"Hmm, interesting, but does that mean that the others are still free?" Ace noticed this and couldn't help but ask.

"who knows, If they were alive, they would be imprisoned by some human sorcerers." Genie shrugged his wings "Anyway, there is the camp..." Genie left those words as he took off flying towards the camp.

"haha! Well, let's hurry up. You will feel a little vibration but don't worry." Ace spoke to his horse as his body was coated in lighting. He stimulated his horse's muscles with lighting making it run as fast as the wind.

"Woohoo!! hahaha!!!" No sooner, Ace reached the camp. He was escorted to the general's tent.

"Mr.Portgas!!" The general greeted Ace with a warm smile "I didn't expect to meet you again, although, I am not happy that they sent a kind man such as yourself to war."

Ace chuckled and walked inside and took a seat "They sent me here to help you and take part in the war. And I assure You, General Hassan that I will be very helpful."

Hassan smiled and nodded "I am sure you will."

"I Have noticed that there are a lot of wounded soldiers, is everything alright?" Ace asked. On his way, he could hear a lot of pained m.o.a.ning. He saw soldiers sleeping with blood covering their clothes.

"No, We are suffering a great deal of damage, we lost 3 squads yesterday a,d our scouts we killed." Hassan sighed and walked at the door of the tent "The Jahilons are toying with us." he said.

"I can help. I know some sorcery that can help heal your soldiers." Ace said. He called it sorcery but in fact, it is his Blue Healing Flames.

"What? You know sorcery?" Hassan was surprised, he walked and looked at Ace with eyes full of hope.

"Yes, but I have a condition...."

Hassan didn't hesitate and just nodded "Whatever it is, my soldiers' life is far more important." he said.

"Then, Give the command over the army." Ace said.

"...This...This is a bit...hard." Hassan retreated back and looked down.

"Not publicly, just do as I tell you from now on and I will win the war for you." Ace assured Hassan. He knows that his ranks and duty does not allow him to give command over the entire army just like that.

"...That I can do. But, please, my soldiers." Hassan could tolerate disguising Ace's commands as his own.

"Alright..." Ace stood up and left to heal the soldiers. It was a long day for Ace, first traveling the desert and then healing hundreds of soldiers.

Jafar was in his desk looking at a crystal orb, his smirked as the orb glowed with light, and then, as if connecting. A man's voice came from it.

¤What is it, Jafar?¤ The man asked.

Jafar chuckled and stood up "I need you to do me a favor." he said.

¤Jafar, I have a kingdom to run and a war to win, If it is not important, don't call me¤ The man said with irritation.

"Of course it is important. I need you to kill a man for me in the next battle that you engage in."

¤A man?¤

Jafar walked to the window with his hands behind him "Yes, a rich man has appeared in Agrabah, he managed to send supplies to the army after I went through the trouble of delaying them for weeks. He was almost able to revive Agrabah's dying economy. I am afraid he is too dangerous to be kept alive."

¤...So that is why they were fighting harder than usual...Anyway, you are an ally to the Jahilon kingdoms. Send me the information about this man and I will tell my generals to take him out.¤

"Yes. I am counting on you, I went through the trouble of controlling the Sultan again just to send him to the battlefield. Do not disappoint me, King Johalis." Jafar said.

¤...Mind your tone. But I will do as you said. I will end him.¤

Jafar started laughing with content. A thorn that appeared in his road is about to be removed, all that is left is for the army to give in and the Jahilons to get in the kingdom. 'I couldn't get the lamp but that doesn't matter now. I can get enough power after this sand-filled country falls under my hands after the war.' Jafar thought.

That idiot Sultan will soon fall, and that arrogant, self-centered princess will soon follow him. 'She will make a fine peace treaty between me and that King.'
