Ace was in his house watering the plants, he had nothing to do, it has been a week since he was discharged from the military service. Well, at least he is now free. For the company, he lets Aladdin takes care of it, so far he is doing a good job, but of course, he is being guided by Walid.

Genie was beside Ace bored as hell "Can we just go back to war?" Genie spoke, "because this is boring as hell!"

"Nothing is boring." Ace said to the frowning Blue.

"Nothing? My man, you're watering plants! This is something retired people do and you're still in your 20s!" Genie slapped his bald head "And you still have not used any of your wishes! Don't tell me you liked the lamp as a necklace!"

Ace chuckled, in all honesty, he only wanted Genie's wishes for the sole purpose of sending him back home but since he can't, he gave up on the matter. He was quite satisfied with his current powers, even though he lost his pure elements abilities he still can trash anyone that comes his way. After all, this is Disney, Not Dragon ball.

"I don't think I need any wish right now, just hang around for the time being." Ace said with a smile as he stood up after finishing watering the plants.

"Well, since you will not use any wish, how about..." Genie stopped in his track and shook his head 'Nah...I shouldn't ask such a thing, I am supposed to grant wishes, not wish for them.' Genie was a little sad, even to this day, he still wants to be free, in his heart, he knows that maybe if he asked Ace, he could free him. But he also never showed his weakness to anyone.

Ace was walking to the door when he noticed Genie still floating near the plants "Oi! Blue, I am gonna make Spaghetti, hurry up so we can eat?"

Ace laughed and just gestured for him to follow him. Genie looked at Ace's distancing back and sighed "Well... This is also not bad." He said before running to the door. " I am not Blue, I am Iblis!" He said.

After an hour. Ace and Genie and Ace were on the couch with round billies from overeating, seriously, just these two are what 3 families can in a moment.

"Phuu! I am stuffed!" Genie burping "I am gonna take a nap"

Ace sighed and leaned back on the couch, life was good for Ace for the past week, this is what he has been longing for, peaceful life of boring stuff.

He had his adventure, he walked through, met people, befriended them, saw them die, and avenged them. This was it, Portgas D. Ace or it is better to say that Amaterasu, is no longer needed.

*Knock* *Knock* *Knock*

Hearing the knocking on the door, Ace grumbled before going to the door to open it. Genie heard the door and turned his skin from blue to brow but he didn't bother to hide.

Ace opened the door to see someone he didn't see for two weeks now. It was a woman wearing a black long Jilbab"Hello." Jasmine waved at him with a smile.

"Oh! Took You long enough." Ace said before stepping from the door to let Jasmine get inside.

"Oh! Did you miss me? as if you don't know where the palace is? just follow the big building and ask around for me." Jasmine took off her Jilbab revealing her casual royal dress.

"Very funny, but you missed the food, we have just finished." Ace said before throwing his b.u.t.t on the couch.

"Tsk, could have at least saved something for me." Jasmine was annoyed knowing that she missed on Ace's delicious foreign cooking. "But anyway, I came for something else, I have a proposal for you."

Ace shrugged his shoulders "Have a seat first. He said. Jasmine sat down and then took a deep breath.

She opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out as her heart started speeding up 'What the hell?!' she thought, when she locked eyes with Ace she was baffled 'This didn't seem that hard earlier behind the door.' She thought, Jasmine, rubbed her forehead and twisted her neck for a moment.

"I am listening." Ace said.

"Y-Yeah, just give me a moment, i need to collect my thoughts," Jasmine said. She started taking deep breaths "Yes, I can do this, I practiced for this." She said. Ace chuckled at her behavior, this was new.

"Alright...here is the thing..." Jasmine cleared her throat "I want you...and me to get together...In a relationship." She said.

Ace didn't react for some time, he then raised his eyebrows "I am sorry what was that?" he asked. Blue behind them started reading up like a mummy from hearing such words.

"What I am trying to say is...I want you to marry me." Jasmine's face shot red from embarrassment.

"Eh?" Ace chuckled awkwardly for a moment "You really mean that? I mean, you're a princess." He said.

"Yes, and you're now officially our prince, by title only," Jasmin responded. Ace started understanding what was happening, so this is why she was promoting him in the ranks? The hunch that Ace had before came true. But he didn't expect it in this fashion. His eyes were looking at Jasmine with shocked eyes "This girl just proposed to me!" He thought.

Jasmine not being able to take the stares from Ace and Blue shouted "Ahh!! damn it! why am i the one who has to make the first move, you should have said this, not me." She covered her eyes in embarrassment.

*Whistle* Genie stood up with flowers in his hands and started throwing them on the two "Congratulation!! Congratulations!!"

"HAhahaha!!" Ace started laughing at the situation. Tears started falling from his eyes from so much laughing before he calmed himself down "Are you for real, why do you want me to marry you?" he asked.

Jasmine was tapping her red cheeks "Because you're my best friend and I like." Genie who was throwing flowers froze midair then started retracting the flowers back.

"What do you mean best friend? huh?! you will not friend zone my boy like this on the first day!" Genie took out a black book with a two crossing arms "According to my bro code, This is a sin deserve to be turned into a frog for." He said with glasses on while pointing at Jasmine.

Jasmine took a moment to realize what she said: "Ah! not in that way!" She said "What I meant was that I had to marry someone down the line, since you were my best friend and I love you, I saw no one better to be with than you." Saying those words made Jasmine cringe so much, she wished she could bang her head on the wall and forget all of this, who was the genius who told her to speak with him like this? ah, yes! It was herself.

"Is that all?" Ace supported his face on his palm and spoke with a smile, he is quite enjoying the situation.

"...Ah! adding the fact that you're hella strong, I had to get you to stay in the kingdom somehow, so...two birds with one stone." Jasmine winked at Ace with her usual scheming smile. Genie nodded, he proves of such situation 'A smart girl in love!' he thought.

"Look..." Ace sighed "I am not leaving anywhere, if perhaps you're doing this just to get me to stay, you don't have to." He leaned back on the couch and spoke. Genie wanted to punch him in the throat 'THIS PUNK!!' he thought

Jasmine shook her head "Nah...I never intended to sacrifice myself to trap someone here, I don't value myself that cheap, or else, I would have gotten the first prince that arrived here to my bed." She said. That simple hypothetical situation somehow made Ace angry. He had to be honest with himself, he likes Jasmine, she grows on him through the months they spent together, she was a great partner to be with, fun and smart. But does he love her...That is something he doesn't know.

But nevertheless, He enjoyed Jasmine's company "Love...?" he mumbled. That is something he didn't think about for so long. All he can remember from his previous world is running around as a pirate and fighting.

Jasmine heard his quite voice and smiled "I realize that we may not have mutual feelings but you know...We can work on our feelings once we are together...But also, I won't force you. I wouldn't want my only friend to lose his charm just to please myself." Jasmine said. She herself realizes that Ace might not love her, but she does.

The only person who showed her the world, the only person who got her out of that grey and dark prison they call a palace, the only person who gave her a reason to why she should wait for tomorrow. That was Ace all along.

Ace looked at Jasmine and smiled "Okay...I will marry you, and I shall be your husband. Currently, I do not know if I love you or not, but once I am with you...I can't promise you, but I will do my best for you." Ace walked up to Jasmine and knelt in front of her. Genie blushed 'Kyaaa!! This is happening, go my boy!!' he shouted in his own mind, with his spiritual vision, Genie could see a few spirits that he was playing with a few days ago watching too 'Yes, this is a moment that should be witnessed by everyone.' he thought.

"Tell me...Jasmine." Seeing Ace kneeling before her with a smile, Jasmine was fl.u.s.tered shy "o you want to be my wife?" he asked. Those words were like music to her ears.

Jasmine started looking around in shyness, having nowhere else to run and hide into, She took Ace's hand and closed her eyes "Yes, you idiot!" she said before she stuffed her face in the couch in embarrassment making Ace chuckle at her.

The following is just me talking about this chapter as the conclusion for the first arc...Probably a minor spoiler.

Well, Ace is getting married! With this I finish my first arc, the pieces for the next arcs are in place, everyone moved in their position. Big things will happen after this.

Now, about The Marriage Proposal...I honestly couldn't find any better way to do this, I have written Jasmine as straight forward and a girl who goes for what she d.e.s.i.r.es. So I made her be the one to get the first move.

As for Ace, I wouldn't say he LOVES Jasmine, their relationship is still in development as you can see he clearly promised her to do his best.
