The Lost Fruits

The nightlife of Agrabah isn't that lively, most people would be asleep by midnight, only a select few don't, for example, the guards, the party people in the palace...

The Sultan has thrown a party for the new prince that has arrived to see his daughter. Unfortunately, Raja wasn't so kind to him, and as a compensation, the Sultan decided to invite him to a party where he can try his luck again with Jasmine.

Unfortunately, this time's price is a little dim-witted that princess Jasmine couldn't help but cringe at him and his childish behaviors. Thankfully for Jasmine, she had her personal maid Dalia.

Dalia walked past everybody and arrived at where Jasmine and the prince are standing "Excuse me, my lords but I need to speak to you, my princess." Dalia bowed.

"What is the matter, Dalia?" Jasmine asked worriedly.

Dalia looked nervously around and whispered, "This is something very private my princess, I can't speak it in public..." She looked at the prince

The prince looked confused but his guard coughed and whispered to him "Oh! ah! I-If you want to go and see what is the problem then d-don't mind me, I have had the p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e to meet you, we can talk another time." The prince said with a red face. His guard sighed.

Jasmine smiles charmingly at him making him return her smile unconsciously before she left "Show me the way, Dalia." The two girls left the party and the Sultan and Jafar saw her do so.

The Sultan sighed "There she goes again..." He shook his head in disappointment.

Jafar smirked, "I wish the princess would use that smart brain of hers and not run from her suiters and think about how much risk we are going through." Jafar couldn't help but mock the princess.

"Jafar...your words..." The Sultan gave Jafar a warning look causing Jafar to bow "I am sorry my Sultan, you know that i said such words because I care about this country's future."

"I know..." The Sultan says. Jafar clenched his fist and straightened his back slowly. He despises how someone like this man in front of him who calls himself a Sultan gives him orders.

*Rumble* The crowd in the party looked at the sky and they saw the dark clouds started to form.

The Sultan was happy "rain?!! Finally!!" He cheered and his subjects did after him. Soon after that, rain started to pour on them and the lightning and thunder became more intense and loud.

Jafar looked at where the lightning is heading and he sees that all of the lightning is gathering in one single location 'What is going on?' Jafar walks forward to the balcony and looks at where the lightning is gathering despite the pouring rain.

"Jafar get inside." The Sultan commanded, he would love to feel more of the water on his body but it is getting heavier.

Jafar didn't respond and kept on looking, and then, a giant lightning pillar descended on one of Agrabah's districts causing a giant explosion making the whole city tremble. Jafar fell to the ground "What is going on?!!" he shouted.

The Sultan came to see "Did that lightning strike our city?!!" The Sultan saw the giant fire eating the Loan company's building "Guards!! Guards!!" The Sultan shouted.

"Yes, my Sultan." The guards' captain; Razoul, came Running and bowed.

"Take some men and go see what happened. Help those who were struck by the lightning and take that fire out." The Sultan commanded.

"As you command," Razoul said. He looked back at his man "Call the 4th squad and let us head out now."Razoul ran out of the palace and headed to the Loan's company building as fast as the horses can run.

And to where the fire is eating, a single man came out of the burning building while dragging another man behind him by his leg "L-l-let me go..." The man said in a weak voice.

"Come on, aren't you the owner of this place, be a man and take responsibility, your men took my money and I am here to retrieve it, I wanted to leave peacefully but you ordered them to kill me." Ace stopped and grabbed the man's head and showed him his building "Look at it, it is gone. Everything you've worked for is gone." The man's eyes were looking at his life long hard work of taking and stealing people's money and ruining their lives burning down to ashes.

"Wh-why?" He said weakly.

"Because I felt like so..." Ace thrust his fire fist in the man's c.h.e.s.t killing him instantly.

"I may be a pirate but I only steal from a person once not for his lifetime like you." Ace said those words as the rain was hitting his body, but instead of becoming wet, the water would vaporize as it hits his body making him completely dry.

Ace then felt several people running to his location "Time to leave." His body disappeared with another lightning descending on the building.

When the guards arrived at the Loan company, they found nothing but ashes. Jafar came with them too. He looked around and spotted the dead men with his c.h.e.s.t empty.

Razoul saw this with Jafar and felt disgusted "He must have been struck with lightning." He said.

Jafar frowned and touched his body "No...He was killed."

In the Palace, Princess Jasmine was looking at the burning building from her room "How come that lightning struck the same place several times in a row?" She questioned. She felt sorry for her people who are suffering like this.

"It is nature, my princess, If you question what nature does, you will go crazy." Dalia was preparing the princess' bed.

Jasmine played with Raja who was standing by her "Our country is suffering from war enough, having nature on our bad side is too much of an overkill."

Dalia chuckled "Oh! now you realize that the country is suffering."

"Dalia...?" Jasmine frowned.

"Oh! forgive my rudeness. But I must say...You can't keep running like this forever." Dalia was done from making the bed.

"I know..." Jasmine looked at the rain outside "...But, I can't just marry any prince. Can't I choose a prince that I can love?"

Dalia gestured for Jasmine to come to her bed "Of course you can. You can look for a prince that you can love..." Dalia took Jasmine's hands and looked her in the eyes "But you must do so quickly."
