The Lost Fruits

After the fight with Tamatoa, Ace, Elsa, and M.o.a.na were invited to Atlantis by Ariel and her Father Poseidon. Though they had a mission to do, Ace thought that there is no harm in relaxing a bit before departing again.

To go to Atlantis, Poseidon showed Ace and the girls the fast stream that passes by Atlantis, and in fact is the only safe way to the city. And because Humans couldn't breathe underwater, Poseidon made a huge bubble for them to breathe in until they reach Atlantis.

"Ey man, my ship is still drifting in the ocean for your information." Ace looked at Poseidon and spoke as they were dragged by the stream.

"....So...?" Poseidon shrugged his shoulders.

"So, you better send someone to get my ship back, because as far as I remember, I didn't just lose my ship while sleeping." Ace rolled his eyes.

"I am a king boy, not your ser-" Poseidon was about to reject,. But when his eyes landed in his daughter's cold eyes, he had to rephrase his words "...Fine...Damn it all" he mumbled the last part "I will send my scouts to look for the ship, it shouldn't be Far away." He said.

"Great!" Ace smiled, he then looked at Ariel "You really do have a loving father, lady Ariel!" He said.

Ariel chuckled "Please, This is my father's duty, he cannot just abandon the people who saved HIS daughter, and HIS PRECIOUS trident in their hard times." She said.

Elsa shook her head in sympathy with Poseidon, it seems Ariel will not let the matter of him attacking her saviors go with the wind 'It kind of reminds me with Anna when she wants to get something...She is very good at using guilt against our parents.' Elsa thought.

As for the last girl...and her chicken. M.o.a.na was looking at the hook-like weapon that she got from Ace after asking to take a look at it "This is the hook of the shifter Grandma talked about..." She mumbled "It belongs to Maui, but... Why?"

"Why what?" Blue appeared from Blue smoke in front of M.o.a.na

"Whoaa!!" M.o.a.na fell back from the sudden appearance of Blue "Don't do that!" She said as she held her heart

"Haha! That only makes me want to do it more, then...what do we have here?" Blue asked.

"Maui's hook..." M.o.a.na sat down on the bubble as cracked her neck.

"Maui? That muscle head?" Blue frowned.

"... Yes." M.o.a.na didn't Denny Maui being called a muscle head, because when she really thinks about...he really is a muscle head.

"I know he was an idiot, but no so much to drop the source of his powers..." Blue touched his chin thoughtfully.

"Something must have happened to him, or he wouldn't have disappeared for ages." M.o.a.na sighed.

"We have arrived!" Ariel spoke with excitement. Following her words, a shining light hit their faces as they entered the territory of the Mermen city.

"Wooww!" M.o.a.na left the hook and stood up to look at the shining bubble dome in front of them, hundreds of kinds of fishes swam around the dome beautiful painting a mesmerizing picture.

"Welcome to Atlantis, Home of the ocean Life." Ariel was proud of her home, happy to praise it " we will make sure you have a wonderful time before you leave."

Poseidon looked at his daughter and did not like how she was acting all close with Ace and Elsa 'I better get that ship fast!' he thought. He looked at one of his guards and whispered to him "Go get some guys and look for that ship, I want it here before the next sunset." He said.

"Yes sir!" The guard nodded and left in a hurry.

And so, the group arrived at the city with a grand celebration wait for them, after hearing that Ace, Elsa, and M.o.a.na saves their Princess, the Atlantic people were thrilled and happy to serve the group their best food.

M.o.a.na was so taken by what she has seen, Mermen and Mermaids were flying on bubbles like Ariel uses to move on land, each one was beautiful on his own right.

And let's not even talk about some of the intelligent sea creatures that could talk.

"It kind of reminds me of Fish Island in the new world..." Ace mumbled as he sits on top of a building looking at the festival below while Also keeping an eye on Elsa; his apprentice.

"Boy..." Poseidon floated down beside Ace.

"Hm? Kingfish, what's wrong?" Ace chuckled as he looked at Poseidon who sat beside him.

"Here..." Poseidon gave Ace a cup filled with pink liquid "Some juice." He said.

"You sure it's not poisoned?" Ace took it and spoke.

"If I wanted to kill you I will do it with my own hands, besides..." Poseidon smirked, "I already did that once." He said.

"Hah!! Fat chance old man, your ice barely made me feel cold, and you call that Ice of hell!" Ace spoke.

"Talk to me when you land a hit on me, boy." Poseidon shook his head.

" We can try again if you want." Ace raised his hand and covered it in fire "I will grill your tail off this time."

"Your ship is here," Poseidon said.

'Tsk, changed the subject, ey?' Ace thought, but it was good news to hear that his ship was fine. "Okay."

"That means I expect your a.s.s out of my city before midnight," Poseidon said. "Heard from the black-haired girl and the Blue Marid that you are going to Te-Fiti....good luck with that, it's a dangerous place there. Probably not a good idea to take the white-haired girl to, she still can't fight probably and her control over her ice powers is still lacking to survive on her own. And let's not even talk about the black-haired girl. She seems hell-bent on going."

Ace didn't deny the fact about Elsa's powers, certainly, she got stronger, but far from enough, as for M.o.a.na, he doesn't know her much, but she seems to be a good friend of Elsa, and he for sure won't let her go with them.

"I will go alone...But I have a favor from you." Ace said.

"What?"

"Elsa...I want you to train her, you can use ice, so...you can show her some tricks."

"I am not your personal trainer boy."

"She saved your daughter."

"Technically you did."

"Then that is more of a reason to not refuse me."

"F.u.c.k you!"

"Thank you, I appreciate it."

Ace stood up "I will go tell the girl, and I will be on my way. Blue, let's go."

"Aye aye captain!" Blue appeared out of blue smoke and followed Ace.

When Ace met the girl and told them about him leaving alone, Elsa was clearly against him leaving her, but after she was told he is leaving her with Poseidon to train her ice powers, she could only obey his words. Ariel was thrilled about Elsa staying and sad for Ace leaving.

As for M.o.a.na "I am not staying here, I have a mission and I must fulfill it." She said with a determined expression and voice.

"You will die." Ace said.

"I never expected to return alive," M.o.a.na said.

"I will not take you on my ship." Ace chuckled.

"I never mentioned going with you, perhaps you have mistaken something, I don't need your help, I can do this alone." M.o.a.na then left. Elsa and Ariel were worried about her, Ariel followed her to make sure she is okay in the city.

Ace shook his head "Stubborn girl." He said.

"Ace..." Elsa walked to Ace and looked at him pleadingly "Please, don't leave her alone, she is stubborn as you said, better safe with you than in danger alone."

"I don't care about her" Ace responded, he only met her a few hours back.

"She is a kind girl, please, I am begging you," Elsa said.

Ace grunted from frustration "Fine, all of a sudden I became a babysitter." He said.

Elsa chuckled at his annoyed expression. He may say he doesn't care about M.o.a.na, but the fact he tried to make her stay here is proof of his kindness.

And so, Ace will resume his journey with Blue to Te-Fiti to discover the reason behind the deadlands...and in this second half of the journey, it seems their partner has switched up from The cold-blooded Elsa to the hot-blooded M.o.a.na.

The ocean is dangerous and filled with many mysteries...So, what kind of danger and mystery the group will face this time around.
