"Bet my job?" Wen Aosheng asked, stunned. She couldn't help but falter. What if this kid really had something under his sleeve. She couldn't help but think back to the time when Gao Tianyao was a kid.

She remembered him standing on a podium reciting his theories. He had represented China on a national level.

How dazzling had he been back then?

Perhaps one of the reasons he was bullied so badly was because of jealousy.

Seeing Wen Aosheng lost in thought Gao Tianyao coughed. This woke Wen Aosheng up.

"Hmph!" She thought, "So what if he does have something up his sleve! There's no proof we ever made this bet... however I should state my terms too!"

"Fine!" Wen Aosheng agreed coldly, "But you have to leave the school if you don't!"

"Sure!" Gao Tianyao agreed. Gao Tianyao did not know what was wrong with him. Since when had he become so daring and, well, main character like!

Main characters never yield and always make stupid bets that are impossible but they always win. Shame he wasn't one. What main character would be a good-for-nothing? He had seemingly forgot that many main characters started as good-for-nothing's.

"Alright then I shall make this bet public, hahaha!" A deep voice suddenly came out of no where.

Both Wen Aosheng and Gao Tianyao immedetly turned around. They were met with a bald, fat dude wearing a pink polo shirt and Hawaii floral shorts.

"Good afternoon Principle Su!" That's right the fat dude was the principle of Sheroki Academy.

"Hohohoho! No need for greetings!" The principle laughed off the good afternoon, "But I did just hear an interesting matter about a certain bet!"

Wen Aosheng froze.

"If my ears aren't betraying me I heard that if Student Gao gets number 1 in the school for the mid term exams, Teacher Wen will retire, and if he doesn't, Student Gao will leave, hohohohohohoho! Very interesting! Alright lets make this bet public!"

Wen Aosheng instinctively said,

"N-no!"

"Oh is there a problem Teacher Wen!"

"Yeah- I meen n-no!"

"Good! It's officially settled!"

The principle sighed in his mind,

"It's all on you Gao boy, these days all the rich kids here don't study hard anymore. Ever since you got addicted to s our school ranking has been dropping. You could say you destroyed the school, but you are our only hope."

After Wen Aosheng left in a huff the principle winked at Gao Tianyao making him speechless.

"It's all on you Starboy!" The principle cheered. This caused Gao Tianyao to be speechless.... Starboy?

Gao Tianyao asked,

"Why are you helping me?" The principle sighed,

"You are my only hope for my dream..."

This once again caused Gao Tianyao to be speechless. Why are you answering in parables and what is with you acting like a young man who has high ambitions and dreams? You're an old man nearing the end of his life! What a queer principle.

Suddenly Gao Tianyao checked his watch, it was already 8:00pm. Unknowingly four hours had trickled away. Only two more hours till it was 10:00, time to meet the Godslayer Gang.
