The Maniacal General With His Crazy System

The space was distorted and almost nothing could be seen, in the core of the distorted space, Averill and Saitama were face to face as their fists were connected. Neither one of their fists were injured due to the attack.

Saitama's lazy expression that he always had on his face couldn't be found as he had a bright smile on his face whilst staring sparkles towards Averill. Saitama had thought he was the only one in the whole universe that was this strong, but he finally found someone as strong as him physically. But Saitama also knew that Averill wasn't fighting with everything he had, because compared to himself who only had physical strength, Averill seemed to be capable of using magic or something like that.

"I lost…!" Saitama conceded the battle happily with a bright smile. "If we continue fighting with our physical strength, this fight will last forever. But I don't have anything else to use to fight." Saitama wasn't joking when he said this, if both he and Averill fought seriously with only their bodies, they wouldn't be able to end the battle due to none of them being able to injure the other one. 'His endurance is the same as mine, never being tired, never fatigued either.' Saitama could clearly see through Averill's body.

Averill withdrew his fist; he returned a large grin when he heard Saitama conceding. "I have to say, you're quite strong." This made Averill quite pleased as he now could spar against someone without holding back his physical strength, he could also easily tell that he and Saitama were equally strong and there wouldn't be a winner between them. But if Averill wanted to kill Saitama, he could easily do so with his Divine Powers added into the mix.

"I have to ask; how did you train your body?" Saitama wondered as he wanted to know how someone else could also train their bodies to the apex like himself. He knew for sure that his own training regime worked perfectly, but he also wanted to know how Averill trained his body.

Averill raised an eyebrow as he replied. "The System made this body for me after I died, and this body was made to be the strongest. How about you?"

Saitama tried to think about Averill's response for a bit, but he shook his head as it was too difficult for him to figure out how a body was born to be this strong without any training. His face turned towards Averill and his expression turned solemn. "I did one hundred push ups! One hundred sit-ups! One hundred squats! Then a ten kilometre run. Every single day! I turned off the A/C during the winter and ate bananas for breakfast, I did that until I lost all of my hair!"

The serious expression on Saitama's face was something that Averill found quite fun, Averill could easily tell that Saitama really believed in his own words. This made Averill more curious to what kind of human Saitama was, because normal humans wouldn't be able to get this strong no matter what with such a training regime.

But Averill wasn't someone that would mock others for something they fully believed in, at least someone he found that he might respect in the future. "I see. That's quite a good regime, a normal human wouldn't be able to go through all of that in the beginning, your mentality must be very strong." The grin on Averill's face turned into a smaller weird smile that showcased many different emotions.

Yet Saitama could see that Averill that was genuinely smiling and the words he spoke was also true. This made Saitama happy, as no one ever trusted him when he said his training regime. At first, he found this 'Domain' as something bothersome, but now that he managed to find someone like Averill, he found being able to stay in the 'Domain' as a blessing.

[Host, I have managed to secure the Domain even further. If Host and Saitama fights in the future, the space will not distort like it did this time.] The System spoke in the Domain with its mechanic voice, its voice wasn't loud, but it reached throughout the entire Domain that was larger than many Universes combined together. [Due to Host losing his consciousness in the previous Universe and the Universe is now destroyed, the mission will be retracted as Host was not the one who destroyed the Universe. Also, the Soul of Laura is inside of Host, what wishes does Host have for that?] As the System had to settle the universe by itself, it couldn't give any reward to Averill even if it wanted to unless Averill demanded it.

Averill's eyes narrowed slightly as he thought of the memory he regained right before he lost his consciousness. But his emotions were calm, and no changes could be seen on his face. Yet Averill was now more interested in knowing his past, he wanted to know why he felt such anger back then before his death.

"Huh… Laura…" Averill mused slightly as he thought of Laura for a brief moment. "System, tell me one thing, is Laura important to me? You did tell me that her Soul was the only one that reacted with mine in that universe."

[Host, I am unable to say if Laura is beneficial to Host or not. As Host mentioned, Laura's Soul reacted to Host's Soul for some reason which even I don't know why. If it is something good or bad, I do not know.] The System replied honestly without hiding anything.

"…" Averill went silent for a moment; he was usually a very decisive person who would decide something at once. But for the first time, he felt that it was hard to decide. He had been with Laura for almost two weeks, and during that short period of time, they didn't speak too often either. Yet Averill felt that it would be a waste to kill Laura.

Saitama was only listening to both Averill and the System speaking without disturbing them. But he had a confused expression as he tilted his face slightly to the side.

Averill didn't respond for half a minute, but he then finally parted his lips as he spoke. "System, are you able to revive Laura's Soul into a body?"

[No.] The System replied at once, but before Averill could think clearly of what the System said, the System continued. [But Host is able to Summon a body for Laura, I can then place Laura's Soul inside of that body.]

The weird smile that almost broke due to the System's first answer turned brighter when he heard the System mentioning the Summon ability he had. As Averill wasn't adapt at using the Summon ability, he tried his best into thinking of a body before speaking up.

Averill thought of a body that seemed similar to Laura's previous body, but slightly older, reaching the same age as of himself and Saitama. The body had long black hair, green eyes as the main features, and he added small things on the body such as the strength and endurance that the body will have. Averill then spoke in a low voice. "I want to Summon a body." When Averill said that, he focused on the body in his mind for a reference.
