Another day passed by rather quickly, and in one of the many rooms in the manor Averill and the rest were staying in, a crazed laughter sounded out from time to time.

"hEaHaAHehe!" Jack's laughter sounded out loudly from within the room, the once empty room had turned into a room filled with papers all over the place. The floor couldn't be seen due to the papers covering it up, all of the walls were fully covered up with papers too.

And sitting in the middle of all of this, Jack was gazing at everything with bloodshot eyes. There were almost two thousand papers in the room around him, he wrote everything himself, and every single word had a meaning behind the big plan that he was brewing up for the battle between his side and Spectre.

Jack's body was trembling as he continued to laugh loudly. "AHAHAHAH!" His laughter stopped abruptly as a crazed smile appeared on his face and his eyes narrowed slightly. "I got you, you bastard, you will never be able to escape!" No matter how Jack saw it, Spectre wouldn't have any chance to win. The moment Jack spoke those words, his eyelids fell down and closed his view as he fell asleep whilst sitting upright.

On the floor below of where Jack was sitting, Averill had a weird smile on his face. Averill didn't once try to check what Laura, Jack and Saitama were doing, because this was his test to them and it wouldn't be any fun if he knew the results before the battle between them and Spectre had begun.

But even so, Averill knew one thing for sure; that the battle would be fun to watch. Yet Averill's eyes narrowed slightly. "Fail and all of you dies, I don't give second chances…" Averill whispered in a low voice in a rather cold tone, none of them would be useful for him if they couldn't deal with an enemy after preparing so much.

Even whilst Averill was doing nothing and thinking of different matters, Averill was also going training in his own way. He was stimulating his mind into fighting an enemy where he was using all of his strength and abilities against a clone of himself which had the same abilities. Averill was trying to get used to his new abilities that he stole from Spectre's clones and turn them way stronger than what Spectre could ever do.

"~I'm back." A feminine voice sounded not too far away as a person entered the room where Averill was staying in. Averill briefly glanced at Harleen who was walking towards him.

"Are you perhaps not in a good mood, Averill?" Harleen suddenly asked a random question. It was almost impossible to guess Averill's real emotions as he always seemingly hiding his feelings on his face. But lately Harleen has been able to notice a few small deviations from time to time which only lasts for a couple of moments.

Averill showed his usual weird smile as he was now staring at Harleen with his sharp eyes. "Why do you say that, Harleen?" He used a soothing tone as he asked, he was genuinely interested in her response as even he wasn't used to being questioned like that.

"… It is hard to explain…" Harleen cupped her shin with her hand as she continued speaking barely any moments later. "But if I'm going to explain. Then, it has to be that your usual expression has no faults in it. Like, your smile never changes, the muscles on your cheeks doesn't even twitch, your eyebrows and eyes are still and would never change either, meaning that you are calm." Harleen described how he usually was, but she didn't stop there. "But when I came into the room, the expression on your face wasn't matching your usual calmness..."

Harleen took a small pause as she continued speaking whilst tying to remember his expression a few moments ago. "Your eyebrows were twitching slightly downwards. Your eyelids weren't any different, but there was another light in your pupils, almost like when a person is upset or feeling angry. And lastly, the smile on your face was too fake, even if you tried to show forth the usual emotions like joy, smugness and amus.e.m.e.nt, but it didn't feel genuine…" Harleen was deep in her own thoughts as she spoke of what she could remember of his expression.

Averill was amused, his weird smile transformed into a grin as he gazed at Harleen. "I have to say, I am surprised." When he said this, he could easily see that Harleen became happy, but then he continued speaking… "Though, I wouldn't say I am surprised in a good w~" Before Averill could finish speaking, his eyes went towards the other direction of Harleen. Averill hadn't used his aura to sense what was happening on this planet for three days, but Averill heard something which made him spread out his aura throughout the planet in mere milliseconds.

The eyebrows of Averill furrowed deeply as his eyes squinted slightly without him knowing. And without Averill saying anything, he flickered with his finger which made a teleport large enough for him to walk through, and he walked through it with a colder expression than usual.

Harleen was very surprised by the sudden change of Averill as he was about to finish speaking why he was unpleasant about what she said. The portal was still there after Averill walked through it, and it made Harleen very curious, her curiousness took over her thoughts as she walked through the portal too.

It didn't take long before Harleen walked through the portal, and she then appeared in a dark room. It smelled nasty in the room she was in, she could identify a couple of the different smells, blood, puke and sweat. It took Harleen a few seconds as her eyes were able to some things in the darkness.

"TELL ME! You're an underling of that crazy bastard, TELL me his weaknesses!!!"

A deep roar could be heard as a scream soon followed by.

"UWaaaaahhhaa!" The scream seemed to be coming from a woman.

Harleen's eyes then saw what was in front of her. A man wearing a bat costume, was torturing a woman who was chained onto the wall. The woman had several metal pieces piercing her body, blood was oozing out of her many wounds.

But whilst Harleen saw the biggest injuries, Averill saw the smaller wounds ones too… He saw that the nails on the woman's fingers were ripped off, her fingers were broken in many places, she had many of her teeth missing, her legs were broken to the point of it could never be healed normally, and lastly, her left eye was blinded by acid…
